Tonight's question, why do players now scream in visible anger ( although really it's joy) on scoring a goal - contrast this to Sniffer when scoring in the cup final against the gooners. This is now even somewhat prevalent in the once gentlemanly sport of golf - the pros then wonder and complain because the crowd is becoming more "boisterous ". It all revolves around self importance and ego - what a shame!

I think it’s because they get a bonus if they score and they are all greedy gits.

Watching Saka at weekend get a knock on his calf from a challenge for ball, was an absolute embarrassment

You would swear Micheal Myers attacked him .

Rugby union players must actually cringe at footballers level of theatrics,

Agree Chris. Any rugby players though. Their bodies take a pounding. U imagine one of them going down with a tap on the ankle. Very weak and embarrassing for footballers. I accept there are some challengers that are unacceptable in football. But 80% are just a nudge nudge here. There a nudge. Here a nudge.
It’s a shame a sport I love has such weak over paid idiots.

Of equal annoyance are the prima Donna individuals who score a three yard tap in then will be seen physically push team mates away from them in order to exert as much adulation as is possible from their very different never been seen before celebration pose!

Sniffer one arm aloft but then jogged back to half way to go again, as he shook the hand of teammates.

Were all individuals…. I’m not spare me these idiots.

Just a release of emotion I guess.

the theatrics after getting a tap are different though they are just after a foul but if things like VAR were applied properly it would be easy to stamp it out.

I think the way to stop players feigning injury is to stop medical staff coming onto the pitch to treat him.

Stretcher the player straight off the pitch to be treated on the touchline. Let's see how injured he really is as the game continues without him.

I’ve said for years, diving, feigning injury or being a prat should get you a pink card

If issued with pink card you either

Have to play rest of game in sittelltos, can’t be could be opposition or a group of the fans are allowed to kick you in at half time/ full time

Sadly the fa did not pick up on my pink card idea…no idea why.
