Just read a post about our Eddie Gray saying
'He had heard Eddie was a nasty piece of work'
What a terrible and awful thing to make up about a true gladiator and massive all time hero of our great club.
The man is a total gent who went through hell for us breaking his bones more than once and I for one am appalled by this comment.
What next
Someone doesn't rate Norman.
Come on pick on losers not champions please.
Angry Jeff

Jeff, has your mate not just sacked Eddie Gray?

2.) 11 May 2014
I agree with Survivor. That comment was out of order.

3.) 11 May 2014
Yes well out of order Eddie is a true LUFC legend and a true gent. People posting on here who clearly aren't Leeds fans! MOT

From what I know of him, I couldn't agree more.
Ive only met him twice (I think), certainly once - about 23 years ago.
My cousin had just come over from then commi Poland, we took him to ER and Eddie walked around the corner. We said hi and he was a true gent, took us around the ground for free just off his own back, gave him a few souvenirs all off his own back! What a gent!

Also had another memorable moment at ER. Went around on a visit and the then youth team were getting ready for a match somewhere. They were travelling with Beaney and I think McCalister (though can't quite remember who the other bloke was). Anyway, they took me for a look on the coach, signed my shirt and told me to have a kick about with a few of the lads - they weren't known players, all very young - don't think much came of them, think there names were Smith, Kewell, Harte, Mcphail.

What great memories, Which other club would do that for their fans!

MOT forever and bring on the Canaries (welcome home Lucciano)!

Met Eddie when he managed my charity team at Elland rd and he was great, stayed behind in the rain and signed my shirt whereas Lorimer said he`d be back and I never saw him again!

I played for Eddy while he was in charge for a while at Whitby Town . The man was a Gentleman, never raised his voice and was respected and loved by us and the opposition . He has a lovely family I think 4 girls and I have never heard one word bad against him .
A true Legend unlike some players today that Dive, Cheat, Spit and Bite and now cry when they get beat like a certain mr Suarez player of the year, what a joke .

I have the pleasure of living next door to Eddie and his wife, and they are genuinely two of the nicest, generous and most humble people you could ever wish to meet.
I for one wish he was still involved in the playing side at ER, that was when we played attractive football
