Tim sherwood has been sacked, would be great for us, passionate and a winner! Get him in now massimo!

McDermott's passionate and a winner. Do you really think Sherwood would have done any better with last season's chaos? I doubt it. McDermott actually has a very good record if you remove the period when the club ownership and debt was causing chaos.

Also, I can't see the manager being sacked right now. Cellino's trying to cut costs not increase them.

A better idea might be to get behind our current manager and show some support. Just a thought.

You can say what you want about the chaos, buy look at his tactics, signungs, subs in games, he is clueless, I teally hope the wba rumours are true and he goes, I go to, every home and away game, so my support is 100% to leeds! Just want mcd out and take hunt with him!

Whilst I understand that it was an uphill struggle with the financial and ownership issues, BMD should have taken control on the training ground, dressing room and on the pitch- he didn't and his poor explanations for the multiple losses were as weak as his constant inability to shape and motivate the team or indeed respond when required in a timely fashion! Playing individuals out of position added to the teams frustrations, sticking to random formations tested my patience! I was not picking the team and I was not coaching them but I certainly supported them and was as frustrated as every fan in the ground. Whilst he remains then I hope he can turn things around following a period of stability but I just don't think he has what it takes! Just my opinion!

McDermott is definitely not passionate and based on his signings he is certainly not a winner. Sherwood is the man for the leeds. He is a manager who clearly gives it his all and makes his players give it their all. 59% win record for Tottenham is the best they have ever had in the prem. McDermott has done a much worse job than warnock. His style of the play is just as bad if not worse than warnock's. give sherwood a go

Hes passionate alright, about READING . Never stops going on about them . he's like an old pro boxer going on and on about the time he had a good fight but then went on to do feck all else . You can't be passionate if you stand and watch your team lose 6-0 to pretty poor local rivals, but just put your hands in your pockets and shrug.

Can't agree with any of you and as for the 'go to every game argument' that's cheap. For the record, I've been going since 1970, it doesn't make my opinion any more important. You say it like it gives your argument credibility. It doesn't.

The signings are not that bad when taken in context. Not one of McDermott's first choices were signed, they were all compromises apart from Murphy, who I think will be a very good player in time and with the right players around him.

As for Sherwood, he has no real credibility in this league or as a proper club manager. I think in any case that he'd be very unlikely to come to Leeds even if Cellino was prepared to meet the cost of appointing him and paying McDermott's contract. I could be wrong but I reckon anyone who really believes we'll end up with Sherwood is more than a little deluded.

The bottom line is this though. It doesn't matter what I, or any of you think. Cellino will make the decision and supporting McDermott, if he stays, will better serve the team than futile debate about the merits of Tim Sherwood.

Well said Axeman, spot on

Well said axeman, thinking about it Gareth what has Sherwood won as a manager?
