I have to say this is the worst Leeds united team I have seen since the mid eighties and its Cellino's fault. Ok the guys got passion but he has brought in 14 players hardly any with championship experience. Despite what some say we cannot keep the ball for more than 4 passes unless its across the back. Bianchi, Doukarra, Austin, Berluscci are useless. Two of those are midfielders leaving two promising but inexperienced midfielders to try and control a game. It won't work! We need a major overall but with the transfer embargo we can't. A big strong striker who can hold the ball is needed. An experienced midfielder needed to help Mowatt and Cook. A big 6 foot 6 no none sense centre back would help. I can see us going down. Don't shoot me but this might be a good thing. Build a new young team like did with their kids. Silverstri, Byram, Taylor, Cook, Mowatt, Dawson, Walters, etc. come back up with a moulded team and take the championship by storm.

I agree with some of what you say, but certainly not about it “being good for us to go down” Stupid-Ar*e comment in my opinion. However, a few points, just to play devil’s advocate.

1) We certainly don't want to go back to where we were a year or two ago with Papa Smurf GFH. For me, that position was worse than where we are today, despite the table position.

2) I'm not sure I'd call Bianchi, Doukarra, Austin and Berluscci "useless". They're better at football than I am (although they are half my age!) I don't think it's fair to call them useless because they're not (currently) cutting it in the Championship.

3) Cellino has bought a load of debts, but also managed to buy an almost entirely new team, which to be fair, we desperately needed (seriously, we DID!). With this new team, and the youth we're playing, you're buying into "inexperience". Experience only comes with time. In this case, minutes on the pitch. I would much rather have the team we have now, rather than a bunch of 30 to 35 year old "experienced" players, who can't cut it because they're too old (in footballing terms).

I suppose my point is, we've got some real talent, but they're on a very steep learning curve. It's not the academy any more. It's not the Italian league 2 any more. They should be given time (1 full season, minimum) to learn, and eventually become the "experienced" players we all want. I’ll put my nuts on the block and say, “We’re not going down this season”. We’ll survive and march on. That’s what makes us Leeds United.

Sorry southern softie have to agree with the original post, having watched every game this season it has become very clear the players bought in by Cellino are not up to the task & are simply not good enough. After last nights game Redfearn said we needed some help & needed some players with championship experience & yet we are again being linked with mediocre talent from abroad. It pains me to say so but we are a worse side than last year & their is only one person to blame that is Cellino.
