With all the quality midfield names we are after I am worried for the fures of either Ao or Amps (or both) ?

Amps should be in defence. He plays better there than midfield.

I wonder if Leeds are waiting for big offers for Tanaka. He's got to be worth 25-30 million. That or Farke wants more rotation for the extra cups/ more strategy to go 3 in midfield and have our wingers track back and forth from defence to attack.

I had read somewhere that Amps position as a starter will be under serious threat, should we land our targets. He will not play in defence now that we have landed Jaka, unless of course we face a dreaded injury crisis!

While last season DF relied on quite a tight, small squad this season ahead the intensity goes up a magnitude of levels and perhaps he might have to trust a few more players within the squad as currently we are 2 or 3 injuries away from flirting with the bottom three. Hopefully we're reinforcing what we have and adding strength in depth along the spine!
