Take away from first half.
Stach look very good

Defence looks vulnerable, mainly because we are playing with a hologram at right back
Leaving Rodon way too exposed and basically trying his best to cover both positions.

Schmidt is awful, he’s constantly out of position, and I mean way out of position, this leaving Tanaka and Rodon having to cover him and themselves.


DJ looks way off the pace, clearly behind with being injured.

Willy, some good work going forward and back but just lacks any spark.
Some decent link up with Gabi, poor balls in to the box from Willy as well.

Piroe has had nothing to feed on really.

We look pretty toothless in attack to be fair as I thought we did last week.

I’d argue we still need

Right winger/ attacking wide player
Left winger/ attacking wide player
Genuine competition at RB and LB
Striker.

We really are missing any creative spark up top.

It’s glaring that we need another RB as a premium priority.

As I say we look decent through midfield but Milan are killing us down their left,

I feel it’s highly likely that Daniel doesn’t see out the season BUT come on Leeds give the man a fighting chance and get him the quality he needs to at least make a fight of things.

Right now i worry the lack of creativity and quality in attacking positions will leave us relegated.

It’s glaring that pains me to say that.

New lads look mint. Stach and goodmonson were all over the pitch.

Their skill has improved the lads nearby. Gnonto and Tanaka have improved but Gnonto lacks the last bit of flair.

I want to see more of ramazani and Harrison as a replacement for Schmidt would be interesting.

Schmidt was very disappointing while was on. Stach was our best player. Gnonto had a mixed bag as you say. Some good performances in the middle of the park, but our recruitment needs to sep up a gear as some quality needs adding, especially up front.

It’s only my opinion, but I think folk’s expectations are little too high. Granted the EPL is a step up, do doubt, but it’s not all world beating. We have had three decent run outs against three teams that on the face of it, are better than at least 50% of the teams in the EPL and none of them have caused us huge problems.

We haven’t played our best team yet and have really carried 2 or 3 players in each of our games. Schmidt was slightly better today, but still miles off JB. I think he’s only playing because JB is injured and Sam can’t do the 90 minutes. DJ was pretty poor today and looks injured. I was encouraged today with the control we held, especially in the 2nd half.

I’m pretty happy with how we are shaping up to be honest.

Have to agree needed a striker and no 10 for two years needs sorting before season starts.
