The report on supposed 49ers flip of Leeds says 3-5 years, not 2-3 years. Also it doesn’t necessarily mean the 49ers intend to exit as a whole. The document quoted from supposedly says this is the last fundraiser investment under their stewardship, as they believe the Club will be self-sustainable after 3-5 years. They may merely mean that the individual investors, to whom this document is addressed could expect to exit from this investment project in 3-5 years by selling their stake for double the amount they’ve invested. Previously it was reported that the 49ers may look to exit in ten years or so - so that would be about 8 years hence.

As you suggest, these reports are unhelpful, and it is to be hoped that Paraag clarifies the meaning of this documentation one way or another fairly shortly.

Whenever the 49ers do exit, it’s possible that Pete Lowy may look to stay on but with new ownership partners.

Peter lowy is a Leeds Fan and has stated he’d love to own the club outright so maybe that’s possible clueless. I don’t think he has the funds right now but his dad is in his mid 90s and I believe (after a quick google) his net worth is around 8billion US dollars which will be presumably split between Peter and his brothers, this is when I believe what you are saying above may come true if the 9ers don’t sell before his dad snuffs it.

A slight pedantic there Clu
, My point was just a general question but we can both agree on 3 year part even if I incorrectly included 2years part

That aside I wouldn't be calling it a ""conspiracy theory"" by saying it's not a good optic, surely that should have remained in boardroom for time being .

Also they did use word Exit Clu, so not much debate on meaning of that word.

Individuals who have placed funds in an investment vehicle (which is what the 49ers Enterprises fund is) can also ‘exit’ from their investment in it.

They are in all but name a private equity firm, buy low sell high, next project

Rangers probably

Also Red Bull and many others declined the stadium investment,

So again my opinion is this is wrong time to be talking about inner boardroom stuff especially when we are failing at presenting a positive image, ie transfers targets falling like green bottles off wall.
