It seems to me that opinion (on here) is split between who should buy us and the majority wouldn't see LFU as the best option. This hasn't stopped Dylan Thwaites claiming that any other bid would generate a hostile reaction from Leeds fans!

I think this comes across as a veiled threat and he is NOT the opinion of all Leeds fans, maybe only those with shares in LFU.

I for one would welcome a bid from Cortese as got Southampton into the Premier and look at them now.

It is hoped that have the funds in place to demand exclusivity otherwise they can threaten all they like, it will make no difference.

Not just a question of finding the money to purchase the club there is also the issue of having adequate resouces to fund it operationally.

This whole thing sounds wonderfully romantic - fans purchase club - but dangerous and potentially could leave the club in a more perilous position.

Maybe there plan is merely to acquire the club and then flip it to a third party?

If Thwaites and LFU really want to help the club, SURELY their logical first step is to leave Cellino where he is for now and buy the one asset that we don't yet own despite all the promises Elland Road, raising the funds for this is a more realistic prospect than trying to buy Celino out for what will be in all honesty an unrealisitic figure with no tangible asset at the end of the deal, then and only then will they be in a much stronger position to negotiate with either MC or prospective buyers, a seat on the board and some financial strength as they would own a very valuable asset, if memory serves me right Stamford Bridge is owned by the fans and not Abramovich. Just a thought.

Veiled threats and moral blackmail will not help their cause.
