Hi everyone, avid fan of 29 years, new to this site, but hope to be a regular poster. Have read and used this site for ages and thought I would offer some of my opinions and see whether anyone agrees.
So in regards to players brought in, I think Erwin, wood and turnbull are potentially very smart acquisitions, would love to see a pacey, run at defence minded striker brought in, potentially a number 10 position role, thought ajose could have been given a go there, failing that I'd give a youngster a run from the start of the season ( worked well for mowatt and cook!) .
Think jerome Thomas could do a job, experienced, skilful and still got pace from what I saw of him last year, good mentor for the talent we seem to have oozing from our youth development. Would like to see another centre back brought in. Like cooper and bamba, but both wreckless at times and really don't feel bellusci is consistent enough to hold down a first team position all season. Can't help but think we missed out on a great buy in Jason shackell, think Derby are doing some great business this year, along with Middlesbrough and Fulham!
All in all the midfield is good, think Adyemi could be for us what coquelin is for arsenal and really make the position his! Hope we play byram as right back, as it is his strongest position, although beradi is looking good. Taylor at left back suits me, think it could be a great season, hoping all these youngsters are being given good contracts, they will all eventually be the spine of this amazing football team after all.
All in all I'm really positive about the start of the season. Think the squad looks strong, with plenty of competition in all positions ( baring the wings, but let's not get into that), but I definitely see us in top 6, when we eventually start to gel, and there's goals in U.S. With the strike force we have amassed . Shame to see sharp leaving, as he was my choice in the middle of the front 3, but we've got plenty of back up there. Here's to a good season, would be good to have some feedback, positive or negative. Cheers lads

Thanks a lot Bermondsey , yes a peculiar name choice, only chosen as I had his name on the back of my first ever Leeds shirt, bought by my father. Hanks for the advice though, will bear it in mind:)
