Heard that before the takeover, LUFC owed Kingston Communications £22,000 and were about to have their internet services withdrawn.
Once the takeover was ratified, Cellino paid the outstanding bill and used Kingston at his new Leeds apartment which cost £750k and his sons apartment in Leeds.
Cellino obviously has the financial power to turn us back into a force again, but this just shows what a mess GFH were making of running our club.

1.) Nothing shocks me with GFH, what a shambles I still think whoever allowed them to take over a football club 18mts ago with NO capital should be telling us WHY they allowed it to happen.

2.) 750k? I'll assume that's a typo, even 700 quid would be extreme seen as it's a football club and not a business that relys on ultra fast downloads/uploads. Come to think of it, were getting screw-fuddled if we are paying thousands on ethnology infrastructure when we have no need, at all.

In answer to the questions above - I asked the Football league to answer some questions and they say GFH showed proof of funding at the time of purchase. Clearly they either spent it elsewhere or gave up on funding us.
Demps - I think the £750k mentioned above was the cost of Cellino's Leeds apartment not a payment to Kingston Comms. Just badly written.

Yeh my friend had the same response from FA regarding funds.
We decided GFH were either lying or the FA was covering its own backside.
Why would GFH borrow money off Bates 6 months after buying us if they had funds and why would they head us towards ADMIN if they had funds?
Think we only know half of the way our club was run I'm afraid :(

5.) Why would anybody in Leeds use K.C. when they can simply connect with B.T or any other provider? K.C. have a ring fenced market market in Hull and E.Y. and have a reputation for being expensive.
6.) Hi Ed I have bought this up before but is there no one in Authority than can investigate GFH? They have at best totally mismanaged our accounts which is strange with them being a bank? Or at worst they have stolen money from the club running up terrible debts which almost put us into Administration. Either way they must have lied to the FL making them not fit and proper to own a football club. MOT
{Ed013's Note - All they had to do was prove that they could run the club for a year. The day after acceptance they could then run the club into the ground and take what ever they want as long as the club is not in administration in that first year. The police are looking into it and will submit their report/findings to the FL, but other than banning them from owning another club in England I am unsure on what they could do. The Police will deal with any illegal matters, but I don't even think the remaining 25% could be taken away due to it belonging to different share holders unless they are guilty and that may change things}

Gfh did have the funds and still do, with them been an investment bank the primary goal was to turns leeds from a "break even" club into a loss making club, so they could then loan them money and make a profit that way. That's of course when they realised we aren't getting promoted, which is where the original profit was coming from. It's practically robbery, conflicting interest, it was in their interest to screw up our finances. Thank god for cellino

I'm not saying your right or wrong as I don't really know who to believe anymore.
If GFH bought the club in late 2012 and asked PAPPA SMURF for a loan in early 2013 ( as bates himself he admitted in feb 2014 )
How the hell are they an investment bank?
All I can see is them borrowing millions off bates @ 10% interest and charging LUFC 20%
Only way I can see them making money but I'm no Einstein ;)

Been at tonight's game and I can't understand it, as a team we have no width at all yet Cameron Stewart is sat on the bench, fairenough he's not the greatest but when we are 2-0 down he surely deserves a run out, Brian's selections are sh*t think it's time he left!

Rumour has it that the loan had to be repaid to Enterprise Insurance before FL would approve the takeover and these were the documents that the FL were waiting for from GFH. Now that is done, takeover should now be confirmed. Welcome to Leeds, Mr Cellino.
1.) I agree, that this must have been one of the issues needing sorting.
2.) This seems entirely logical and correct.

3.) Makes perfect sense, so takeover could be ratified by FL sooner than their next meeting on 13th March - is that right?
4.) The FL said they were waiting on some information so this would seem to be pure speculation, an educated guess at best.
Hope you're right and Cellino seems pretty sure of approval judging by the way he has been going about his business so far.
5.) Cellino has done so much for us already I hope we give him a huge reception for his first home game .

The politics continue - OS with statement from GFH in response to winding up order!
1.) Just read the statement, not much in it;
reading laterally though, GFH would have to rigorously deny this because if they didn't anyone wanting to buy could pick us off for a few quid and, any investment made thus far by GFH would now be worthless

bye bye Flowers and co, everyone is saying how ruthless Cellino has been over the weekend but I believe he has learnt valuable lessons on how passionate the fans are about the mighty whites and has shown he will LISTEN with his back tracking over the BMD sacking, he has also witnessed the potential this great club has and most of all he has money.
Under Flowers and co the politics will continue, there will be a power struggle with all of them wanting an equal share of profits leaving nothing for team progression we will continue to struggle on limited funds which I for one are fed up with.
3.) Is a man who would take his bat and ball home in such a childish manner any better than the Italian?!
4.) We are more doomed under the Flowers consortium than under the Cellino buyout. I for one would rather take my chances with the Italians.
GFH showed they only had the money to buy the club and nothing left for development. I think we will find this consortium to be the same.
Haigh has already shown he will do anything he can, not for the club, but to keep control of the club.
Apparently the Italian has invested in his home town team. But I have to say Leeds is a different 'kettle of fish' in a much bigger football league with riches far beyond that that he could achieve in Italy if he was to get Leeds back into the Premier League.

2.) Wish him well, he use to come in shop where k worked when he played for burnley, a lot of people round where I worked were stuck up but not clarke always spoke to every body very politely and friendly, really nice guy and hope he has a speedy recovery.

MOT - welcome to the roller coaster, it certainly is on the way up right now, well in the second half of the last 2 games at least. And as the players gel, I can only see us getting better - let's keep passing our way into the Premiership!

1.) The soul man and Cooke stand outs. Belusci an enigma, plays in defence like needs glasses and scores a screamer. Berradi settling in to right back, on team sheet everytime. Keeper same. Warnock ok esp first half.
Cant wait for Saturday.
2.) We still have new players to roll out and whilst it is looking good we need to have the spark from the off ( my heart can't take this!). Great result and well done to the boys! For the the first time in ages we have real options to change the game from the bench (if required ). Nice to see a few more shots being fired in - passing game is great but you need to shoot and keep em guessing to win ( second half!). That said - I go to work with a beaming smile nice one and well done to all the travelling fans and online supporters - we are leeds 😆

4 bids to buy MC out of Leeds in the last 40 days according to interview with the man himself with YEP.
Great to see MC say that he won't sell for 1billion, what passion and a great breath of fresh air and honesty that we have not seen for many a year at our great club.
I cannot wait for the new season, regardless of how many foreign players we have, I am totally re-energised by the way MC is going about his business.
Elland Rd back in our ownership by November as well, keep it coming MC.

MC though is doing what NO other owner has done in a long long time (HES TALKING TO US)
I think the guy gets excited/passionate and exagerates a bit but how can you NOT like him! GFH trying to take him for £24m he's sorted them out, he could have said I will use RMCs money to buy players but he didn't he's using his OWN money.
Hes signing players on low wages but BIG bonuses if the earn it (wasnt this known as piece-work years ago)
Well done MC if you succeed or fail in the next few years I think WE as fans will get passion back on the field.

4.) Low wages and bonouses is a brilliant piece of work. How many times do we feel players on x k per week don't put the work out. This is one way to make sure they do. Great vision and managment even to get players to agree to this. He could sell betamax to a digital age. Oh hell he did this with MC for 10.75m lol

All this negative talk guys, it could be worse, you could be Spanish right now.
Lets see what happens after 10-15 games and then let's make our minds up. The main thing that concerns me is will MC continue his policy of firing coaches every time he buys a new pair of shoes.
It could be a real roller coaster ride for the next 22 years guys.

1.) Totally agree! We will rant we will moan, but none of us can stop being Leeds.
I for one had never heard of Brendan Rogers and even then he had a couple of misses before things started moving forward at Swansea.
Come on let's leave the negativity with last season, give whoever a real chance. Supporters clue is in the title.
2.) The players weren't good enough last season and they certainly won't be good enough this season, players like Austin are at Hockaday's coaching level meaning non league and Austin isn't the only one, another problem there isn't the aggression or passion in our support like they used to be too many fans are easily pleased these days.
