Still 5% is better than paying his full wages till 2015 imo {Ed001's Note - that was 5% of the transfer fee, not 5% of his wages. The percentage of wages is much higher, to stop clubs just paying off players. If I remember rightly, this is off the top of my head though so I might be wrong, it was somewhere in the region of 75%+, depending on the length of time left, and the amount of time already served.}
As much as I liked Becchio these fans begging for him to come back and going on like he will save our season just bear in mind he hasn't played regular football since january and he hasn't found the back of the net in any kind of competition since january

Why would Varney, Brown, Norris, Ashdown, Drury, want to leave when they have contracts that don't run out till the summer and they are on better wages than any other club would pay
I agree Becchio is a leeds ledgend and his goals for us last season were vital.
i don't agree he was forced out as he handed a transfer request in so that comment doesn't wash with me.
i understand why he went in regards to thinking about his future and his family as a football career is a short 1 and a player has to attain as much money as possible. I love leeds utd but if it was me i'd be off where I could get the most money and so would anyone else on here

But seeing as you mention it didn't BMD state he's only looking for loans that will become permanent players?
im sure that type of loan will bee 100% for "the team" if they will be signing full time come january
