Former Birmingham City player Curtis Woodhouse predicts Leeds will finish no higher than tenth as it doesn't matter how many players we sign as we don't have Gary Monk anymore!

WTF obviously he didn't see the last quarter of our season or the games where we didn't have a plan B! Like many Leeds fans I'm grateful to Monk for making it an interesting season and for his input but I'm not the only one who wasn't disappointed at him leaving!

Why do so many ex players who mean zero to Leeds get so knowledgeable about us? And then there are ex Leeds players or Managers who after they leave think they know what we need?

Well i have to say what a pity they didn't have all the answers when they were a player or a Manager of Leeds then maybe we wouldn't be in the Championship eh! Why do they have all the answers for success after they get the sack? Baffles me, tenth place, before a ball has been kicked. Maybe he should predict the Lottery if he's that good! MOT

Stick to boxing woodhouse, I for one don't expect us to be winning the league this season, but I do think we can be in the mix up. Radz is no fool we are building something here at Leeds. Season after season we have not had much to shout about but things are a changing. MOT.

The good thing about us is that we don't know, nothing is proven. We have brid, anita, jansson, green, wood, and ayling who for me are all established championship players. We have quality in saiz, alioski, sacko (debatable) , wiedewald, vieira, and generally, potential in all areas. We have a manager who is used to winning, but unproven, he may well do a renieri and prove that the league makes little difference to his tactics and that he plays his own way and that wins him games, he's proven that at 2 different teams. There are teams this season like villa who are building on foundations of championship quality, whereas we have unproven talent within, it's a risk but I like the balls people are willing to show to prove that a risk is rewarding. Genuinely can see alioski being player of the season, very similar to knockaert, could be a huge threat.

Spot on samowhite5, only time will tell but at least we have the potential with the player's we are getting in. Just need more quality added to back up our defence. Can see player's like roofe and viera kicking on this season, given the chance.

Cheers gents. Over facilitating is better than no plan B if you ask me. If he is to play a 4-2-3-1 like he has done in friendlies, TC has so many options in midfield now as we're all aware, I think there are about 12 potential midfielders in austria. 3 keepers, we all know we're light at the back but flint and voyer are 2 to keep an eye on. Potentially £4m for flint. And saiz, douk, alioski, antonsson or roofe could all replace wood at some stage if necessary. We only really had douk as an alternative last year, arguably Roofe but he was more crucial on the right IMO. Sacko, Wood, Alioski as a front 3 in a 4-3-3 could be lethal. Excited for the friendly tomorrow to see if the new lads start.
