Just to be clear, this is what what the new boss actually said when talking about Leeds. "It was Leeds against Barnsley and the Leeds lads were always older than us and always used to kick smoke out of us. We hated Leeds and they hated us and that is how it was. You understand the support they have got and the size of the club and the tradition as it was always rammed down your throat with them bragging about it. "It is a team everyone loves to hate, but a big club with a big tradition. It is a big derby for us. " Now personally I don't have any problem with any if that . He loves football, he has been incredibly loyal to the club he supported as a kid, played for and managed but he has been prepared to leave all that behind to further his career, like any ambitious football manager would. Also he has talked honestly and passionately about how he felt as a kid and a manager. Lots of managers try to sit on the fence and be all things to all people, he doesn't . Give him a chance!

Good lad Spanish. I know I bloody hate Man Utd as a kid a teenager and an adult. But given half the chance I’d manage or work for them at any level to enchance my career on a higher level . one thing for sure. He will know what it means for fans being a Yorkshire lad. Only positive. Give him a chance. 😂👍⚽️

No to what Whiteman? No you are not going to give him a chance? What do you mean? You’ll stop going to Elland Road, tear up your season ticket? Give him a chance, judge him on what he does. I’m sure you’ll be prepared to criticism him on here if he doesn’t do well. He is the boss, english and from Yorkshire!

Happy now I suppose you and I may be wrong you don’t go and only support Leeds on a site like it put your money in like true fan who have gone to every match for the last 50 year who have spent there hard earned cash the you mite see where I am coming from

Whiteman no one can deny your a true fan, and passionate which is good, personally i think you are wrong on all sorts of levels but respect what you say. I can't believe you are not giving him a chance but as a fan who pays money you have the right to do so (I did with hockaday and would of with McClown) however do not throw ticket in bin, i will buy it off you for a tenner (good money for rubbish) and if I am right and Paul gets us playing better and winning we will both of had a right result, you money for nothing and me ticket to see leeds win which i haven't done since 2002!

Bermondsey I would have sent you my ticket had I not already shedded it which I did some weeks ago when I posted that I was done with traveling all day to watch no fight from our team and that I had bought in to Radz 5 year plan, as long as he’s and his managers are thereI will not buy another one or travel as I have done for 50 years . I will now become a armchair supporter. I am very unhappy in the way our club is being run and won’t give it to this bunch of crooks,

do understand Whiteman, I have spent many a 500 mile round trip and 1000's seeing us lose and worse not even try or turn up. I feel your pain and understand. I do think you will be buying a ticket again soon as think heck will be the fella to turn us around
