Not my theory of the lack of signings. but I now believe a previous poster has got this right, waiting for premier teams to do the majority of their transfer business (which are impacted by the World Cup) then we are going to be sniffing around the players who fail to make the respective squads. It’s either brave, stupid but I have no other plausible explanation as to why we are waiting until the last minute.

Certainly hope they’re not planning on selling to raise funds first!

That's my gut feel 92, tho most will probably be loans, but hopefully with a purchase option. Still strongly believe there will be 3 or 4 more to come before both windows close.

Where does the confidence come from guys. We've all been here before. What makes us think Radz is any different from the previous owners that promised loads and delivered little. Can you not see through the BS.

Wouldn’t say it’s confidence Wex, more clutching at straws in the absence of a more plausible explanation. I’m also thinking that Bielsa wouldn’t have signed up without assurances on signings. Like I say all straws but what’s the alternative, Radz out ain’t going to help anymore unless we can unearth our own billionaire? Confidence no, just typical Leeds hope and everything crossed as usual.

I see another season of disappointment with a possible relegation battle and a new manager by xmas. I am glad that we have gone off that Jerry Whathisname but I think if we can get (unlikely) the two Peterboro players, things will look a lot better. We don't need poor strikers from Serie Z or whatever. When they are young, they have resale value, but older players looking for another payday are not what we want.

Jerry what's his name octopus is from the Italian b division that's there second tier. The two from Peterborough are from the English 3rd tier so they would be more if a gamble if you look at it logicly.

Wex, I'm the same as class here. Just don't believe we would bring in Bielsa, and not give him something extra to use. Less confidence, more hope and belief. Interesting to read earlier that Pep isn't even deciding who goes out on loan until the end of pre season. Am guessing the same applies to others we are looking at?
