Good result should have scored more though but a win is a win. Well done to young Huffer, said 2 year ago he was a future England keeper and getting the nod today he will still be buzzing, clean sheet as well. Leeds through and through. Halme played his part as well. KP man of the match for me, how many tackles did he make today about 40. Saiz played well when he came on. Dallas put a good shift in as well. Only Alioski who let himself down a bit, he can do a lot better, wish we started with Clarke in a couple of games.3 points against Reading now and its onwards and upwards. KP Beckenbaur.

Good post Bige. A number of posters write off the under 23 players as “kids” with no experience without looking at the background and skills of the players who stand out from that group. There are a whole batch of players in that group who can come in and play a role if and when needed. Give them a chance and judge them on their performances, don’t slag them off before they have had an opportunity.

According to Radio Leeds, Huffer is the first Leeds united goalie to have a league clean sheet on debut since 1960s. Anyone know the stat? Not a bad start!

Remember Paul Rachubka, he was a “seasoned professional” who was very quickly roasted! I think we could all list a number of “seasoned professionals” who came to the club and played worse than These “kids”. Let’s give them a chance!

If we have players in the under 23s, the coaching team learn a lot about them, how hard they work, their professionalism and they have a chance to learn and practice the system. Sometimes that will mean that certain players from that group are a better bet for a Bielsa type team than a player we buy in at a great cost from another club!

Of course we should still be looking for other players to come in at under 23 and first team level, but the right players, right attitude, right price.

Bielsa seems to like Alioski, personally Alioski should be benched for a few games and maybe give Clarke or Harrison a start. Saiz must be ready for his starting place again as he has set up goals for Hernandez in the last 2 games. Hopefully we will have a couple of players back from injury for the Sheffield United game, but can see Bielsa starting with the same line up for Reading game on Tuesday.

I think Alioski and Clarke on one side might be an attractive combination. Benefit from Alioskis defending and Clarke a bit better at staying onside.

Reading could be another game where we can stay with Huffer and Aapo and shift the personnel in the same way as we did on Sat if needed. Try and make sure we have as many players as possible fit for the Sheffield game.

It would be good to see how Huffer does in his second game with a bit more confidence. Imagine Miazik or the under 18s keeper will play tomorrow in the under 23s.

We really should celebrate Huffer playing, 10 years with the club, and An international at various age groups. Could be a great asset for us in the future. Remember these “kids” have hunger, this is a chance to change their lives, potentially in an enormous way. So they should be really up for it.

Good to get the important 3 points yesterday and put WBA behind us.

There are still plenty of goals in us like the start of the season but I feel we have lost the zip, the Pace in attacking we usually play with. Injuries we have of many aside MB has shown how versatile the squad is, Would like Clarke to get a few more starts he’s a great talent.
Dallas at rb or lb doesn’t work imo.
Reading will be tougher than Bristol City.
Onwards and upwards!

Spanish, don't worry about it, I've heard KP didn't see Bermondseys play either.

Ibilko, it was difficult to tell yesterday because Saiz came off after the sending off, I think! But I wonder if Forshaw, Klich and KP is the difference with the pace and fluidity to having Saiz and no Forshaw. Forshaw seems to stop and think more and pass back then Saiz whose first reaction is to move either the ball or himself forward and Klich nor Forshaw can do that as well. So perhaps within that is a slightly different way of playing Plan A. By varying which of the 3 is on the bench we can change the tactics slightly .
