Desperately in need of reassurance we are not going to sell Jack Clark, and definitely not cheaply?

1.) 21 Jan 2019 21:09:28
Ok, Jack Clarke, NOT FOR SALE.

2.) 21 Jan 2019 21:23:52
No chance this transfer window. Why would we sell the brightest talent in the league, while we are top, and pushing for promotion, unless the money offered was just stupid. That and I don’t think the lad would want to go!

3.) 22 Jan 2019 02:33:18
Just seen some proper claptrap on NewsNow, Clarke sale to fund transfer! made me chuckle.

4.) 22 Jan 2019 09:09:34
They’re embarrassing, sell JC to 'fund' the purchase of another player for the same amount?

Does no one proof read stuff anymore or are they all aged 12 writing this stuff?

JC not for sale

He’s going to be worth £50 plus as a premiership player and even then I’d not sell.

5.) 22 Jan 2019 11:14:16
Won't sell Clarke this window unless it was 50 mil+.

6.) 22 Jan 2019 11:51:56
Will not be going anywhere this window. It will be his dream to take Leeds back to Premiership and he will not want to miss that.

Think we took a bit to get going today, half-time came at the wrong time as we were beginning to get the game by the scruff of the neck with a goal.

Thought Cooper played well (and I'm always usually critical of him) . Phillips, Siaz, Klich had good games.

Roberts invisible for long periods.

Here's back to winning ways on Wednesday.

1.) 20 Oct 2018 20:54:35
A sensible post, well done. :)

27 Aug 2018 11:34:39
Hopefully we can move the likes of O'kane, and Anita out on loan this week, free up some wages for hopefully CB and winger/ CM coming in.
Is Ekuban still with us or has he gone already.

MB is setting out the way forward for how we train, approach games, and play. Great blueprint. Bit like Wilkinson when he came in, he knew what needed changing.

Looking forward to Peston and smoggies games hoping we can keep this momentum going.

1.) 27 Aug 2018 11:44:31
Ekumiss still here.

2.) 28 Aug 2018 08:44:45
Oh no he isnt.

3.) 28 Aug 2018 14:00:31
Ekuban on his way apparently but not a done deal yet. Turkey.

There's no doubting our season performances are way above expectations dreamed of back in August.
If we can start to relax around opposition 25 yard area and take our time to play the simple pass and score. IMO I think this is why our goals have dried up; more shooting from edge of area needed, taking too many touches with the ball getting tangled under feet, opposition shutting us out, and the chance to score has gone.
It's like watching Arsexxl when they were trying to walk the ball into the net.

Sorry about the reference to Arsexxl, we are universally a far superior team to them and any other.

Everything crossed for getting back to winning games and promotion.

1.) 11 Feb 2019 13:19:58
I think this combination of players getting used to each other on the pitch at the same time, I noticed a few times when we had two players in exactly the same place, fighting for the same ball. The attacking players are now very fluid and seem to be able to pop up all over the pitch. In the second half we had 3/ 4 players on the pitch who have all played the 10 at different times. Just need to work out how Brown fits in and then hopefully some consistency until season end!

2.) 11 Feb 2019 14:36:36
Your right with your Arsenal comparison Bilko. That's what you get with Tki-Taki football. Unfortunately the final decision making is letting them down. Snatched shots, scuffed shots, pass when should shoot, but at least they are getting there. Most teams with a new manager take a couple of seasons to put together a charge like ours. So yes, we are exceeding expectations. Unfortunately as our position has increased so have our expectations. Now nothing less than auto promotion is acceptable. Having said that it is not outside the realms of possibility, even a playoff spot would seem to many a success this year. Whatever it is, at least we have a manager who everyone is behind and apart from a few questionable personnel choices, can do no wrong. Long may he/ it continue.

02 Feb 2019 18:24:46
Harrison and Ayling having poor game so far IMO 🤬
Win or lose we are better than Norwich.

1.) 02 Feb 2019 18:44:48
You forgot roberts.

2.) 02 Feb 2019 20:28:47
Thought Roberts was okay, Harrison and Ayling subbed for Clark and Philips.

3.) 02 Feb 2019 20:24:57
Thought Roberts was good in the first half!?

Disappointed no further signings this window, especially when given the impression our scouts have been busy here, Spain, and in Portugal.

Move on and put James non-deal down to Learning but I've already stated which two players I would have liked brought in. Ones been snapped up by Dirtby.

Sorry for sounding negative but I can't help think here we are in a great position for promotion once more and we don't improve the squad in January for promotion push.

Been getting messages already from mates saying we're going to throw it away again.

Got the best manager, best team by far in the league, best fans, keep playing the way we have most of this season and we'll walk to the PL.

With players like Bamford, Brown, returning from injury will be like two new signings and we've got the young lad signed early this week. Why am I worrying, nothing to worry about.
Norwich will be a good contest, we win there massive confidence boost.

1.) 01 Feb 2019 05:52:23
People have been saying Bamford and Brown will be like 2 new signings for 2 months and neither still ready for the bench. if We fail everyone is going to point the finger at this transfer window, if we succeed I think it will be the managerial achievement of the season with the lack of squasdepth and injuries we have had.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 06:50:14
Keep the faith Ibilko

The vultures will always hover but this, time this squad is going to finish the job and in style

Make it loud on Saturday.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 06:56:07
We brought in a top keeper, beat off premiership teams for a highly rated player

James we did all we could to sign him

No one was sold

We are top of the league

We’ve exciting u23s pushing for first team places

After the last 15 years of January windows, this is one of our better ones

Keep the faith.

28 Jan 2019 14:07:23
I think the same as some have already posted before about importance of signing some experienced players this window.
Would like to see Andy King (Liecster) who is out of contract in summer, Cahlivero (wolves) loan, think these two would give us some more options and depth for promotion. IMO

Barry Bannan had a great game yesterday and box to box MF, from what I have seen of him he would improve our team. IMO.

1.) 28 Jan 2019 15:19:32
Yes, Bilko. I hope the scattergun approach is finished now. For me the way forward is every open season just bring onboard one (maybe two) QUALITY players and slowly grow this machine into one that will hold its own in the Prem.

2.) 28 Jan 2019 16:00:31
Agree with you both there chaps!

3.) 28 Jan 2019 17:16:14
No thanks to Bannan, no real reason apart from I don't like him 😀 Cavaleiro (however it's spelled) YES please.

4.) 28 Jan 2019 20:41:41
I actually believe Bannan style would work a treat under bielsa. Quick passer who always looks to play forward. Last time he was average at best but as we all know certain players can be improved massively under bielsa.

21 Jan 2019 15:48:00
The Rotherham game is a must win as much as the Norwich and other upcoming games. If we can score early and keep at them should be okay, if Rotherham score first they will be hard to break down.
With Norwich just feel every goal they score other teams are having to score two.
We are playing well but need to find the net more often, returning injuries will only help us find our form again.

No complaints as been the best season for us in yonks.

1.) 21 Jan 2019 20:19:26
For goodness sake I am so fed up of giving teams a one goal start.

2.) 22 Jan 2019 00:43:35
It will continue as long as Jack Harrison starts!

Axe if that’s your assessment and opinion of Cooper then fair enough. Personally I think his idea of keeping the opposition quiet is a combination of wrestling and rugby.
Liability is ‘red card’ Cooper, he will cost us with his poor football discipline.

We’re selling Viera to Sampadoria, he’s having medical tomorrow according to News Now sources! WHY? .

How can this be justified if at all true, would be another bit of Leeds loony transfer dealings. What’s wrong with Jack Marriott, Joe Bryan, Kodija (loan to see if injury free) . Surely these are the kind of players we can bring in now. I don’t understand this waiting till World Cup is over mullarky that Kinnear was talking about. We really can’t expect to improve if we conduct our transfer business like a relegation battle is ahead. c'mon Radz let's get moving plz! MOT

What the hell, mad Italian logic and Radz calls himself a business man? . If this rumour is true it beggars belief ! It was less than a month ago Radz was spouting lessons had been learned about recruitment and transfers. He gave me the impression it was staying close to home in transfer market buying and loaning quality players who know the league and are experienced. What the heavens does Briesla know about our league, who are quality players with championship experience and ability. There will be no Kyle Bartley, no Maddison or Marriott or Abel Hernandez, there will be no John McGinn. Just getting frustrated is all and having a rant, trying to remain optimistic and grounded with rational thinking ‘ Rome not built in a day’ blah blah ! Rant over and hoping everything plays out more positively than I imagine at the moment! MOT

I can’t understand hey they have taken as long to sort this out, MB admitted it happened not once but all season and he was solely responsible.

He even gave a presentation, - for crying out loud c’mon EFL this dragging a decision out is getting beyond funny.

If I were Leeds I would put in a complaint to FIFA (once EFL has made decision) because the longer it’s drawn out it’s got to affect the manager and squad.

I’d like to think MB and the squad are quietly using the situation to fire themselves up, siege mentality “ let's show ‘this lot what we’re about”!

Well summed up hesslian1, we’ve known about the Harrison and Alioski issues and their shortfalls for a while now. Alioski works hard, if he would just stay on his feet instead of throwing himself to the ground, no ones buying it. Harrison is not good enough and IMO gets game time because we have no or little other options, this comes back to my point we’ve known for a while and should have done something about it in transfer window.

Aaron Lennon will always get respect of Leeds fans but being honest we should be looking at better players unless he can play now like he was when we sold him.

If Bamford gets game time I think he will deliver the goals, KP back, couldn’t understand leaving him out yesterday as he’s been consistently very good all season. Drop Ayling and let Shackleton have a chance.

Fingers crossed this is just a blip and we resume normal service starting with Boro.
