Leeds fans have been screaming the need for another CB at Radz since Janson sold.

I'm trying to remain optimistic there is a twist in the remaining days of the transfer window for us to strengthen with experience to support younger players stepping up, and not rely on deadwood cloggers.

I know many may think Dallas needs replacing but let's not forget what a useful utility player he is, IMO he was our stand out player in second leg playoff last season.

Onwards and upwards.

1.) 27 Jul 2019 16:15:10
Dallas did do well in that second leg, but he has been here long enough to force his way in as a regular, but he has failed to do so despite chance after chance. Decent squad man, but that's all for me.

2.) 29 Jul 2019 18:20:41
He’s moved about that much it would be hard to be a regular in a regular position. He’s happy too play where he is put and he benefits the team. And gives 100% always.

16 Jul 2019 13:23:05
Read a news feed linking us to ongoing discussions with Gary Cahill. Probably media Trollope as usual.

Can't deny would be very happy if it was true and could forgive his chelski past should he sign for Leeds.

30 Jun 2019 15:36:12
It sounds like there are some positive moves about transfers for us this next week.
Does anyone know if there is any mileage in the Luke Freeman rumour that we are hoping to bring him in. I hope there is.

Onwards and upwards.

1.) 30 Jun 2019 23:22:47
Good player but I sense not for us.

2.) 01 Jul 2019 08:43:31
We're not currently making any moves for Freeman.

3.) 01 Jul 2019 21:10:08
Shame about that alftupper!

Something gone down with Leeds United shares as received email this afternoon from company check updates about Leeds United. It refers to shares but Doesn't allow me access to further information.

1.) 09 Jun 2019 22:49:38
Just checked company's house website for Leeds United and there is a lot of things relating to shares but I don't understand what it means, something about radz and 75%.

2.) 09 Jun 2019 22:58:13
What does that mean?

3.) 09 Jun 2019 23:43:18
Looking at the docs you seem to be referring to, while they were apparently filed with companies house, or uploaded to its website recently, they seem to date from last year, so possibly nothing to be excited about.

4.) 10 Jun 2019 07:52:27
Yeah, reading through this morning I think the relate to the 49ers buying 25% for 11million. So nothing new.

5.) 10 Jun 2019 08:25:37
This is all the paperwork related to the 49ers investment last year. Nothing in itself to be excited about, unless it has been prompted by them doing some preparations for other share issues/ sales during/ in advance of due diligence.

Bielsa signs contract for a further season, BRILL!

Well done Radz for getting this quickly dealt with 😀👍.

1.) 28 May 2019 12:35:56
I love a bit of continuity good news in my opinion mot.

2.) 28 May 2019 12:48:15
It's a decent sign, Bielsa has a history of leaving if he doesn't get what he feels he needs. Radz must have given him certain assurances. Need to get a move on though, particularly in the free agent market. Radz says loans or quality free agents. The quality free agents will be snapped up soon.

3.) 28 May 2019 14:15:43
Who are the free agents out there worth having.

4.) 28 May 2019 14:45:06
Nasri, Carzola, Cahill, Sturridge, Ribery, Wellbeck, Milner? an not see them ending up here though.

5.) 28 May 2019 15:36:33
Start off with a decent goalkeeper please.

Not the start to first quarter of the season hoped for.
Injuries already, players being used to fill gaps out of position, very poor goal conversion return for possession and dominance.

But there are few first team players who are performing well - Bamford, Costa, Klitch, Casilla, Harrison, Douglas (never lived up to expectations) . WHY is that?

1.) 07 Oct 2019 13:08:41
That should read ‘NOT performing well’ 🤬.

2.) 07 Oct 2019 13:33:32
Klich I put down to fatigue. A player should be able to play a full season to a high level of physical performance but Klich has been ever present in a high intensity/ press system. Klich would benefit from squad rotation. Bamford has never been a consistent goal scorer therefore he is probably performing well in his mind and now seems to have a metal block when it comes to goal scoring however we need and paid for a goal scorer, poor recruitment in my eyes. Harrison is an enigma with his reputation being highly inflated by Guardiola. If Pep thinks so highly of Harrison why is he not in the Man City squad? Answer: he is not at that level but Man City see sell on potential. Douglas has not been the same player who was tearing it up for Wolves and we appeared to get a bargain price when we signed in, possibly a physical issue there. Casilla has pedigree but that has been earned sat on his backside for Real Madrid, different challenges in Spanish football compared to English second tier. Costa, for me, needs the time that has been afforded to Harrison but I am afraid he will not get it when Pablo returns.

3.) 07 Oct 2019 14:02:12
douglas is simple he is an attacking full back all about delievery. he has no one to deliever to, same with phillips on corners and free kicks both have top notch deliever but no one to aim it at

harrision i think it is final ball and descion making, can't teach that and sadly i don't think he has got it. should be dropped

klitch is good but fatuige and dip in form. I think many others have figured out what he offers and now work to stop that. once they realised what he was about in MB's team come jan his goals have stopped

bamford is playing very well, he is a flase nine, a poor man firmino and for the level he is playing at he is doing very well. he offers so much, chipped in with few goals. the difference is frimino has salah and mane to get the goals which make up for his lack of them. Bamford is getting no help from our wingers. if they scored a few more people would get off bamfords back and appraicte what he offers. just like fimino

what MB has to do is get our wingers firing. or work out a way for bamford and eddie to work together. trouble is i don't think mb can find answers. he just has a way and hope it works and people don't suss it out

as for the keeper it is his style many like klop and pep like keepers that are of that type, look at bravo, karius and even the city keeper on loan at forest. all simiar to kiko in coming off line and being about feet not hands. sadly to find the answer you need to spend 100 mill on a keeper to get allision or edilison

costa needs a bit of time and has come into a misfring team so give him a chance. i also think costa is better in a direct effective team. not the tippy tappy pointless leeds style we play at the moment.

4.) 07 Oct 2019 15:47:13
Notts, I think your right about Bamford having a metal block! In fact he's got two great big lead ones in each foot! 😂😂
Sorry mate, couldn't resist.

5.) 07 Oct 2019 16:20:24
LOL Danum.

6.) 07 Oct 2019 17:18:38
Bamford - not a regular goal scorer, needs others to score from the work he does and to supplement his (lack of) goals
Costa - had one decent season in a very good Wolves team, failed to impress last season - I think Wolves were happy to get rid especially for the inflated price tag.
Klitch - gone off the boil or possibly not being played in the right way or with the right players around him. Out of form but we know he can do better.
Casilla - never rated him. Just awful. Average shot stopper but a liability. Has never been 1st choice before.
Harrison - inconsistent. Has flashes of good play every now and again but for every good game he has he has 7 which don't produce anything
Douglas - ravaged by injury, never got his form back and possibly the wrong fit for the style of play we have.

06 Oct 2019 12:23:10
Hoping Costa can find form we know he is capable of.

02 Oct 2019 00:02:22
Great to get a very important win, we got a taste of what we usually dish out as it was us on the backfoot in second half.

Pleased for Bamford who showed us he has a lot of running, worked very hard, long may it continue.

Some of our players looked short of running in the last 10 - 15 mins, Costa notably. I think we can't keep up our tempo of play for the full season, impossible, and MB must realise tired players ran out of steam in the run in last season - small squad, injuries, suspensions, reduces chance of promotion.

Here's to staying top of the league 👍.

1.) 02 Oct 2019 08:18:56
Agreed re Costa - but to be fair he’s not had much game time. For the first 60 minutes he played well - and boy is he quick. He will cause problems for defences and he will score.

17 Aug 2019 18:01:51
Very happy with squad, we are stronger in depth than last season in terms of attacking. Really happy we are top of the league.

What disappoints me is we are not scoring more goals, even on today's performance we were not fully at the races but showed we can still dominate and win. If I didn't know better I would start to believe MB has the team drilled not to shoot on goal until every twenty passes have been completed!
This is my only gripe of our team and I worry it will be our undoing again if we don't quickly get into the habit of killing teams off.

Onwards and upwards.

1.) 17 Aug 2019 18:42:14
iBook yes a win is a win don’t matter about anything else .

2.) 17 Aug 2019 20:15:44
I dunno it’s hard to break teams down sometimes when they shut up shop particularly with 10 men. I’m happy enough with that result especially after what happened last season.

10 Aug 2019 14:23:06
We can play great football and dominate but Jesus Christ's we are also very frustrating 🤬.

Agree Ox, no complaints about how Radz is running the club. I would rather we are promoted without over spending above what we can afford.
We’re making progress and last season showed what happens when fine tuning is done sensibly.

Hey, no doubt would be a great acquisition, only concern is if the rumour of Burnley interest in klitch has momentum who do we have to mix it up in the midfield? Teams are going to route one us attacking through centre while we are plan A - get the ball and attack out wide with no plan B of having good attacking options in the middle.

Just a concern, hope it makes sense. I’m sure MB will have this in mind.

We need to keep Klich IMO .

If true and the club entertain these rumours they really do need their heads looking at and a large foot up the backside. Klitch is IMO a must not sell player. If I was Radz and co I’d be slapping £20 million price tag on Klitch.
Bearing in mind he’s my favourite player.

He says his hands are tied regarding signings because of Financial Fair Play restrictions meaning we can’t spend further on player transfers unless it was one out to allow one in. Points deduction for breaching this, or as it’s Leeds the EFL and FA are likely to throw us out of FL .

Spot on Bermondsey about Costa improved performance against the baggies. Players stepping up, as the whole team did, shows we’re not one season wonders.

Frustratingly Harrison often over-runs the ball, sometimes it pays off but if he would just take a mo to look up or cut inside and play the obvious pass or taking shot.

Stuart Dallas is becoming a legend.

Yep Berm, can’t disagree we’re great in the middle. We’re not awful defensively, when we continue to press opposition when they have the ball they barely get near our box. Derby, Swans, and Forest we got mugged, especially Derby. Up front Bamfords confidence has gone, he’s a goal scorer but unfortunately not as consistent in a Leeds shirt.
I agree possession, shots, corners, counts for nowt if you don’t turn them into goals.
We’re not perfect yet by any means but we have plenty of quality to create and score goals.

We are one of, if not the most attack focused teams in this league and we have been found out now by other teams. They pack their box to limit our shooting, scoring and know we are easy picking for the sucker punch counter attack. This continues on from last season with PJ in the team.

I admit berm I was a big big fan of PJ too and would be happier if he was still Leeds. I think Ben White is a great loan signing though.

We are far from clueless, Hockaday, Heckingbottom are the clueless eras.
