Why is McCormack still penalty taker given he's now missed three this season?

Haha good one mate! which one of our 10 clowns around him would you prefer? cracked me up that lol

Well I'd never have subbed Smith, seeing as he's the only one who suits hoofball. I'd have had Smith take it, but as he wasn't on, I'd have given Byram a go.

I agree with the second poster, everyone else around McCormack would have had no chance in my opinion to step up and take it. Ross is the only player at the minute who is showing any sort of passion/leadership, a penalty at home in the 94th minute to earn us a draw (looking at our recent form) in my opinion only Ross would have had a strong enough character to let it go if/when he missed. Byram/Mowatt/Poleon/Even Smith are all young players who could of been seriously effected mentally missing in that situation.

On another note I really fear the worst for us now, 21pts to play for and only 12pts above drop zone. I can't see us getting another point all season in all honesty.

sad times

Actually any of the others might be ok. because when they kick the ball even they don't know where its going to go, so I guess neither will the opposition keeper!

I knew straight away that Mc would not score.
He is instinctive and penalties give him thinking time, a bit like the one on one`s he misses.
I`d give penalties to Warnock.
I`ve said it a thousand times before, a pro footballer should not miss a pen.
Please don`t harp on about pressure etc .
