Surely Rey, Clarke and Dalby have to be given a chance this weekend? Grot, Ekuban, Lasogga, Roofe have had enough chances now. BPF Pearce Jansson O'Connor Anita Rey Forshaw Clarke Hernandez Saiz Dalby.

Maybe look at what youth options we have for Saiz as well. I'm sure he's thinking of a move next year.

2.) 01 May 2018 17:06:23
Machuca is most like Saiz. I think his future depends on who's in charge next year.

3.) 01 May 2018 19:40:57
This is my one disappointment with Hecky. The situation was known weeks ago and he should have at least had some of these on the bench with the intention of giving them 20+ minutes. Bringing on the likes of Lassoga tells nobody, nothing!

4.) 02 May 2018 00:00:53
Agree Leodis. And in fear of sounding like a broken record. No wimp Anita. Second worse player on our books.

5.) 03 May 2018 21:11:25
The way Saiz has been playing lately I thought he'd gone already

04 Apr 2018 00:25:03
No to Mick McCarthy, Alan Pardew, Tony Pulis, Strachan or any other dinosaur. Yes to Hannes Wolf, Slaven Bilic, Marco Silva, Dean Smith, Eduardo Perizzo. Give Corberan or Mark Jackson until the end of the season. Heck couldn't inspire an orchestra.

SG90

1.) 05 Apr 2018 09:06:16
Inspire an orchestra.

2.) 05 Apr 2018 13:54:06
Why would we want a coach who could inspire an orchestra? Are orchestras really easy to inspire?

3.) 05 Apr 2018 14:17:27
Alf that comment was that Heck couldn't inspire the inspirable, basically can't do anything.

4.) 05 Apr 2018 19:31:02
I'd say no to all of the above

Spanish media and Daily Express linking us with Andres Guardado from Betis. Second in La Liga assists table with 6 and still the current Mexico captain. Would be an incredible signing if we pull it off, tequila shots at the ready to celebrate.

SG90

1.) 09 Dec 2017 23:57:56
guadardo would be a good buy because of his assists. He seems to be the type of player who can make other players play. The one big caveat is given his age, if we get two good years out of him, will Radrizzani accept getting zero resale value. Having said that, if he helps get us to the Premier League, then the answer is a definite yes.

05 Sep 2017 14:06:58
Wondering if this 'big surprise' from Asia will be one of the players in the Chinese Super League on crazy money. Jackson Martinez, Carlos Tevez, Oscar, Alex Texeira etc? 😅 Although it will probably be Godzilla or a Kim Jung-On takeover.

SG90

1.) 05 Sep 2017 16:36:35
Maybe our additional defender?

2.) 06 Sep 2017 00:51:30
Is Harpal Singh making his long awaited return?

3.) 06 Sep 2017 09:45:54
Shunta Nakamura
Takefusa Kubo
Probably going to be a talented Japanese kid for the under 23s

4.) 06 Sep 2017 13:50:21
and the inevitable down-vote from our resident Doncaster Rovers lurker. Might want to check into Toshiya Fujita, what with him being our chief scout in Asia, being Japanese and stating Orta has briefed him to identify young Japanese talent. It won't be a first-team player. Might be about to announce a tie-up with a Japanese feed club. Might be signing a Japanese kid for the under-23s. Won't be anyone for the first team.

5.) 06 Sep 2017 16:19:06
Good luck finding a song for those 2 citywhite

6.) 06 Sep 2017 18:04:20
City, an under 23 player wouldn't get a work permit though. Has to be a full international or an EU player.

7.) 06 Sep 2017 19:11:08
nope. 5 points is enough, on appeal with the FA's current scoring system. Just has to have played in equivalent champions league type competition for his current club. National team appearances scores more points and isn't contested.

8.) 06 Sep 2017 20:51:21
They can also make allowances if the player is considered of wonderkid potential, rules are a more negotiable at tribunal for any player under 20 supposedly.

9.) 07 Sep 2017 12:45:55
It could be ex Swansea player Chico Flores

22 Aug 2017 22:15:07
Burnley, Saiz will cost you at least £50m 😜

It pains me to say it, given how much I disliked him when he was playing. 😂 But Gary Neville is a top pundit and always talks sense! Feel like I need to wash my mouth out with soap now. 😔.

SG90

1.) 12 Jan 2019 18:56:32
Sort of agree the same about Lineker, don’t like him him but he has stood up for us over the scouting trip, says it’s rife and even had a kit man come through the dressing room ceiling trying to listen to a team talk.

All a lot of sour grapes and hot air.

12 Jan 2019 17:18:36
Collymore bleating on about 1996 and the Villa's amazing history (from the 19th century) while they're being pumped 3-0 to Wigan. 😂😂 #mind the gap, #smith out.

SG90

1.) 12 Jan 2019 17:58:09
I hope Villa are in freefall, and take Monk's men with 'em, after their points deduction.

2.) 13 Jan 2019 08:39:03
Put ‘Stan Collymore and Danny Grewcock’ into your search engine and have a good laugh at the tosser😎.

3.) 13 Jan 2019 11:12:54
Just had a look at that 2sheds, I wonder if he has ever been back to Ireland :)

4.) 13 Jan 2019 16:33:51
I doubt it AL and if Stan is to be believed in that he offered any of the rugby players outside for a one on one I'm disappointed Danny Grewcock didn't step forward and say "I'm your Huckleberry" as he was 6ft-6ins, 18st 10lbs (think brick sh*thouse) oh and a black belt in karate :-)

Top spies
Top players
Top supporters
Top manager
Top of the league

Top owner missed out.

2.) 12 Jan 2019 16:09:53
Still not sure about the “top spies” bit! I think a top spy might not have been traced back so easily. I blame Radz, not enough investment in the spy training programme and we buy under 23 spies when we need to be aiming a bit higher! Apparently this lad was caught out when someone recognized his Beeston Academy uniform!

3.) 12 Jan 2019 17:02:37
I heard it was just a guy trying to deliver some Slim Fast meals for Frank looking for a way in.

4.) 12 Jan 2019 17:11:43
I politely disagree George.

5.) 12 Jan 2019 18:13:09
That'll be why the cops were called in, Frank wouldn't want any of that nasty stuff anywhere near him.

06 Jun 2018 22:43:09
Everyone comparing Villa to us, but we never got parachute payments or the obscene Sky tv money they did. Think it's time PP were scrapped, as clubs are using them to sign other Champ clubs' players on obscene wages, just look at Stoke. If you get relegated ts, we never got a helping hand.

SG90

1.) 06 Jun 2018 23:35:39
Thought stoke might have learned about over-priced transfers over the last few years . and then £14M for Andre Gray?

2.) 07 Jun 2018 01:12:26
Robbie Folwer was a snip👍

3.) 07 Jun 2018 02:28:31
Parachute money part of the incentive to try get in the PL so it should stay. We might need it, once we did. Maybe should only last 2 seasons though, not 3.

4.) 07 Jun 2018 08:22:38
Should only last one season in my opinion, to aid clubs fund staff contracts etc. Clubs losing better players to other clubs is part and parcel of football, and they will usually get a transfer fee. Relegated teams having 3 years parachute payments is to try and help them get back to the promise land asap and rewards failure.

5.) 07 Jun 2018 08:57:28
The thing is Mezzer, they were brought in for that reason, but they're being abused by clubs to sign expensive players. Why can't relegated clubs just sell all their players, like we had to, to make up for the shortfall?

6.) 07 Jun 2018 09:38:19
Good points made on both sides, I do agree it rewards failure but believe pp should remain for one season to allow the club that time to readjust . I remember all the media comments regarding us, it sort of seems less intense in regards to Villa, not that I want them to go the same way as us (no fans deserve that) . I hope we try to get Snoddy back Ab up and him providing .

7.) 07 Jun 2018 10:05:57
Surely all players should have a clause in their contact which shows the salary level if relegated. After all it's the inflated wages that handcuffs a team and it was the players who got the team relegated. I do think some form of PP is required but in its presnt form it should only last one year.

8.) 07 Jun 2018 12:19:25
You would think so Leo but I believe in the main most clauses are regarding transfer fees. That said if you have a player on big money surly it makes sense to let them move if they want and get some one else at far less the wages . I think this is the problem with Villa, not only did they spend but there wage must have been a size last season.

9.) 07 Jun 2018 15:53:49
I think the PP should be scrapped altogether, finishing bottom of the PL gets you £95 - 100M in "prize money" why should they get more?

10.) 07 Jun 2018 18:56:12
We did get parachute payments - its just we were so far in debt already by that time that they couldn't be used to strengthen the team. some clubs come down with no debt so they have the money to spend.

30 Apr 2018 18:34:54
Bartley suffers a second knee injury in eight months. Given Swansea wanted £8m for him, that is far too much money to spend on a risky signing. Get Helander in for next year.

SG90

1.) 01 May 2018 19:31:25
Agree SG a fit Bartley is just what we need but with a bad knee would have to be put thro the wringer by our medical team.

Jenas praised Kane and Alli for diving the other day and said it's part of football! Not cheating when his beloved teams do it. I think he's desperate for a large points deduction as it's the only way Forest will make the playoffs. 😂.
