Spanish media and Daily Express linking us with Andres Guardado from Betis. Second in La Liga assists table with 6 and still the current Mexico captain. Would be an incredible signing if we pull it off, tequila shots at the ready to celebrate.

1.) 09 Dec 2017 23:57:56
guadardo would be a good buy because of his assists. He seems to be the type of player who can make other players play. The one big caveat is given his age, if we get two good years out of him, will Radrizzani accept getting zero resale value. Having said that, if he helps get us to the Premier League, then the answer is a definite yes.

05 Sep 2017 14:06:58
Wondering if this 'big surprise' from Asia will be one of the players in the Chinese Super League on crazy money. Jackson Martinez, Carlos Tevez, Oscar, Alex Texeira etc? πŸ˜… Although it will probably be Godzilla or a Kim Jung-On takeover.

1.) 05 Sep 2017 16:36:35
Maybe our additional defender?

2.) 06 Sep 2017 00:51:30
Is Harpal Singh making his long awaited return?

3.) 06 Sep 2017 09:45:54
Shunta Nakamura
Takefusa Kubo
Probably going to be a talented Japanese kid for the under 23s

4.) 06 Sep 2017 13:50:21
and the inevitable down-vote from our resident Doncaster Rovers lurker. Might want to check into Toshiya Fujita, what with him being our chief scout in Asia, being Japanese and stating Orta has briefed him to identify young Japanese talent. It won't be a first-team player. Might be about to announce a tie-up with a Japanese feed club. Might be signing a Japanese kid for the under-23s. Won't be anyone for the first team.

5.) 06 Sep 2017 16:19:06
Good luck finding a song for those 2 citywhite

6.) 06 Sep 2017 18:04:20
City, an under 23 player wouldn't get a work permit though. Has to be a full international or an EU player.

7.) 06 Sep 2017 19:11:08
nope. 5 points is enough, on appeal with the FA's current scoring system. Just has to have played in equivalent champions league type competition for his current club. National team appearances scores more points and isn't contested.

8.) 06 Sep 2017 20:51:21
They can also make allowances if the player is considered of wonderkid potential, rules are a more negotiable at tribunal for any player under 20 supposedly.

9.) 07 Sep 2017 12:45:55
It could be ex Swansea player Chico Flores

22 Aug 2017 22:15:07
Burnley, Saiz will cost you at least £50m 😜

10 Aug 2017 22:24:28
Newport away, but it's actually at Elland Road! I wonder how much allocation they'll give us? πŸ˜…

07 Aug 2017 20:58:06
Phillips saying TC told him to get forward more, play with freedom and score more goals. Just shows what happens when we don't have a negative manager holding players back.

1.) 08 Aug 2017 00:17:17
Dont get excited too soon SG, Philips has put together a run of good games before, then he drops off badly (much like Mowatt before him) , hoping TC has truly given him a second lease on life but i'm giving it a few games first.

2.) 08 Aug 2017 08:29:26
It was more a dig at a negative manager than getting over excited by KP to be honest!

3.) 08 Aug 2017 12:40:29
Kal has always been an attack minded player, scoring goals at will for years through the juniors. With the right coach, and correct tactics, he's 10 to 15 a season. The boy has a right shoe on him.

4.) 08 Aug 2017 15:56:15
SG, think your bang on the money, even are defence passed the ball back when needed but didn't spend five minutes doing so and then play themselves into trouble . In Philips think he needs managing time wise but I thought that's why we brought a number of attacking m/f.

I also noticed how the gk kept coming forward a bit like man city, however he needs to watch that someone don't chip in a goal . Would like to have seen a couple more of the new players on Sunday but with the injuries it wasn't to be .

5.) 08 Aug 2017 17:40:08
Phillips is a lot better than Mowatt in both talent and attitude. Loves to get around box and a good strike on him. He is a confidence player and will only get better. Monk held him back last season and he took a lot of flak for it, will have learnt from that.

For all the talk about Wolves, surely we should be more upset that the wendies kept us out of the top 6 last year by overspending and cheating ffp? Very sad to see them in such financial woes. πŸ˜€

1.) 19 Mar 2018 17:02:16
What are Cardiffs debts ?

{Ed001's Note - didn't their owner write most of the debt off by turning his loans into equity?}

2.) 19 Mar 2018 17:27:42
Wendies chairman also created fake companies so he could sponsor kits too, breaching ffp rules. Why isn't AR/EFL looking into this instead?

3.) 19 Mar 2018 19:36:55
Because it’s not leeds

4.) 19 Mar 2018 21:34:39
My point is why doesn't AR complain about that rather than Wolves? We lost out on a chance of promotion to a team not playing by the rules.

19 Mar 2018 09:44:22
Since we spent Β£500k to sign Heckaday, wouldn't it have been better to get Marco Silva until the end of the season with a Β£1m offer? If we went up, he gets a bonus, if we didn't he's free to leave. MS would have got us top 6, Heckaday will have us finishing 18th.

1.) 19 Mar 2018 10:36:41
Think we shoulda got a better manager tbh But the shambles we call a team have given up and are just going through the numbers. He should play who he is keeping next year. And sin bin the rest in the u23s. No point in playing crap week in and out.

2.) 19 Mar 2018 10:49:40
No way should he stay beyond this season Aus. He's won 1 game and changed nothing since he's come. Usually managers shore up defensively or get a few wins. He's taken us four places back since he's been in charge. Imagine the damage he'd do in one season.

3.) 19 Mar 2018 11:21:47
Totally agree but unfortunately a) We go 4 a cheap option and b) can't see this shower attracting a better class of manager especially if he isn't buying his own players, from wat I've seen of ph might aswell of kept tc

4.) 19 Mar 2018 11:31:25
Watch what happens next year with long term contract and few leavers which means few new players. Roll on Radz 5 years plan :-)

5.) 19 Mar 2018 12:08:29
At this time of the year and in our situation I cannot see a better option beating down our door so why don't we keep our powder dry see if he has any radical change up his sleeve and let's see what the summer brings. We have been beeaten yes but not humiliated. We have made silly individual errors which have cost us dearly. He needs, quickly, to iron them out. Whether to improve the mistaker or to replace him, that is the question, or at least one of them. Maybe like the injuries/suspensions they all came at once. Let's hope (that common phrase of a LUFC supporter) that things come together the next game and we put 4 past Bolton (whilst keeping a clean sheet) . A win or two would make all the difference.

6.) 19 Mar 2018 14:32:50
Bolton are more likely to put 4 past us sadly. The players are low on confidence, because we don't have a great motivator in charge. He's more interested in getting them running than trying to change tactics, formation or confidence issues. Get in a better manager and you'd see better results.

7.) 19 Mar 2018 16:06:17
Ausman agreed

18 Mar 2018 11:50:13
Eerily similar to Birmingham sacking Rowett and replacing him with Zola. Thank God TC won us all those points to keep us up. We are in freefall and if we keep PH next season we will go down sadly.

1.) 18 Mar 2018 12:15:21
No Rowett had Birmingham in a play off place, TC had us in free fall.

2.) 18 Mar 2018 14:17:47
Who picked TC. who picked Heck? Crap managers.1 gets the job with powerpoint presentations and the 2nd gets the job because he's British. BOTH with no history to warrant the manager of our great Leeds!

3.) 18 Mar 2018 14:43:23
Also after the cheap option and hope to find a gem

4.) 18 Mar 2018 15:39:55
Maybe just me, but I wouldn't have appointed a manager with 1 win in 16 games and a 27% win ratio.

5.) 18 Mar 2018 16:02:29
I would certainly never compare TC to Rowett but i certainly wish we had Rowett right now

17 Mar 2018 21:30:03
Hire a relegation standard manager you get relegation standard results. Simple.

1.) 17 Mar 2018 22:09:34
The slide started well before he was hired! ? Can't blame him for this sorry state. We didn't even play that badly today. Just shocking defending for a few moments.

2.) 17 Mar 2018 23:30:17
Heres the truth that everyone must be able to see now - we don't have bags of cash, some dipstick decided the way to go was to get cheap players with potential and get a "coach" to make them perform hence we only employ a coach and not a manager- the lord Orta being our " manager" - this is clearly not working - we need a real manager with the power to buy his own players, if Heck is that man then ok, give him what little dosh we have and see how it goes - if not Radz needs to grow a pair and sort this mess out or sell - I've nothing against Radz, he's done some good things but something has to change and if Radz sells at least the new owner will get rid of Orta and bring in a proper team manager- we havnt got the cash but we could have a proper club structure which is what we are lacking right now with Orta running the show - rant over

3.) 18 Mar 2018 07:46:21
The whole truth too Kray, As much as AR is a good guy with good intentions his master plan is rubbish even be just be starting to see it, hopefully!

4.) 18 Mar 2018 11:05:40
Bright, he has taken us backwards with the same team TC had us in the top 6 with. He has a 19.75% win ratio in the Championship. Why do fans keep defending him?

5.) 18 Mar 2018 11:19:18
How many games without a win did TC go without a win before he was sacked? Someone remind me?

6.) 18 Mar 2018 11:36:06
6 league games, 7 if you include Newport. And we had 10 men for four of them.

7.) 18 Mar 2018 12:18:23
Now how many did Barnsley win with hecky bright? Any advance on 16?

8.) 18 Mar 2018 18:37:43
And what squad quality do Barnsley have, and how many of their better players did they sell? Is a coach supposed to be able to turn a poo shower into a successful team?

06 Feb 2018 14:05:31
Can the club come out and explain TC's sacking then. They said it was for top 6, now we're supposedly preparing for next season. Did he question the almighty Orta and was sacked because of it?

1.) 06 Feb 2018 14:24:34
How is what you claim the club said contradictory?

2.) 06 Feb 2018 14:38:05
Because we sacked a manager who had us top six most of the season because we wanted top 6. Now we're preparing for next season instead. So what was the point of sacking TC then?

3.) 06 Feb 2018 15:09:46
Because we are NOT top 6 and for the last few months haven't looked capable of it

4.) 06 Feb 2018 15:26:19
So why did we appoint a manager with a 27% win ratio who lost to our previous manager?

5.) 06 Feb 2018 15:34:51
sacked TC because 1. he was out of his depth
2. he was tacitlly impet
3. players did not play for him and had bad desipline
4. poor results we can look towards next season by getting new guy in now give him this season to bed in and then move forward keeping TC could of got us religated and was getting us no where

6.) 06 Feb 2018 15:43:44
Bermo, TC had us no lower than 10th and that included a run of 7 defeats in 9. He had us top 6 for majority of the season with a squad everyone says is rubbish, so wasn't he overachieving then? Seems everyone is excited by a promotion from League One and ignoring a dreadful Championship win ratio, for a team supposedly looking to get promotion this season. Give it six games and you'll be screaming for Heck's head.

7.) 06 Feb 2018 15:55:19
We sacked TC as he was tactically inept and persisted in a formation that did not work against a lot of clubs in this league. Tc also looked out of his depth when we went behind in games.

8.) 06 Feb 2018 17:21:40
I don't say sqaud is rubbish i think we have a top 4 sqaud with real quality at this level. i will give Heck time and i'm behind him. I got on TC's back because of what I saw with my own eyes, he was useless and had no clue. our recent form and desiplne a joke. some of our loses unforgivable and some choice unfathemable. Again it comes down to patterns of play, game management and form. the players had TC 6th most season because they are good good players. Heck will pick us up no worries

9.) 06 Feb 2018 18:38:06
What does the Orta-cle think?

Nope. Saiz, Alioski, Forshaw, Lasogga have been good signings, and the u23 are pretty good. Not going to slate Grot as he hasn't had a chance and Kilch and Cibicki haven't had much of a chance either. Weidwald, Ekuban, Pennington look poor so far. Players like Cooper, Dallas, O'Kane, Phillips, Roofe were already here before him.

Problem with that Grayson is changing managers and having players under contract that the next manager doesn't want or use. Look how long it took Colin's tripe to leave as no one else wanted them. I'd let Orta stay in charge, he hasn't done that badly imo and I don't want a load of Barnsley players we can't shift on 4 year contracts.

TC won 6/8 from Boro to Burton. Do you actually believe Heckaday could replicate that? πŸ˜‚

TC had the same group in the top 6 for months. Maybe Heck is just a terrible manager? 19.75% win ratio in just under two seasons in the Championship would suggest so.

He needs loaning out to League 2 to get some confidence. If he's still struggling there, then I'd agree he isn't good enough.

Ayling is not a CB. If we start playing him there, then we've learnt nothing. Just like we bottled out of signing Helander so Super Cooper could play instead. πŸ˜…
