just want to know how leeds fans are feeling, yes it is only one game in, a game many didn't see but think those who saw it have us going down or be there abouts. I understand people saying it is early, but the club only has two centre backs and one of them is wooten, my local pub team even has four centre backs. Hockaday is a joke, his record at forest green shows that, if not his comments after the game also prove this. Everything on Saturday was comical not even bad, it was funny how we couldn't mark or work out how to take a corner. Players won't play for hockaday, MC won't pay wages needed, squad is thin and our savour last year now wears a fulham shirt and the head coach is a embarrassment. I am ashamed to be leeds fan for the first time in 27 years. I like MC and his record in Italy deserves respect but hope he learns a lot before it is too late and I think he hired Hockaday as a fall guy while MC learnt the ropes. worried we need at least 6 players and hope we have a plan or fear we will go down and not even go down fighting. Anyone else feel like this or am I the only one. and if you are optomistic please state why as I need some hope from somewhere. Also Bryam seemed like he didn't want to play on Saturday. who would blame him if I was a footballer i'd want out of the joke that is leeds

Bermondsey
I was at the match and ashamed by the performance of the team, I don't usually go to that many away matches but that's the worst performance I've ever seen.
No clue who was marking who from set pieces, NO idea on the pitch as to ANY formation and NO passion, don't know what hocks plan A was but plan B throw Smith up front and play long ball as if Hollaway didn't didnt see that one coming.
We know we are in a transitionional period with players in and out but ALL we asked for this year is commitment and passion and proud to wear our shirt.
YET AGAIN NONE WAS SEEN.
As for Byram personally I don't think his hearts been in Leeds for a while now, shame season before last he was outstanding.

I guess the only positive we can look at is if MC hadnt bought us when he did we would be on -15 or -25 points now depending on how the FL viewed us going into admin AGAIN ;(

Good point I must say as negative as I feel at the moment I do believe in MC. Think he is a proper football man and his record at Calgai seems to back this up. Also think he is a stubborn man with arrogence and pride and these are good qualities for an owner as these will help us achieve in time. Can only think he has hired Hockaday as a fall guy while he works out his real plan and gets his players. just hope it doesn't cost us too dearly. Will happily have a bad season in order to get house in order just hope the house gets in order sooner rather than later. Living in Bermondsey I can see this is going to be a hard year for me, also getting married in May and coming to leeds for the stag do in April and hope we might look like a team who might be winning by then!

3 home games could make or break Hockaday, no positives at all from the Millwall game, team and Hockaday have been rubbished from the media and fans, I'm all for rebuilding but not in Div1.

Couldn't agree more with the above comments, players on Saturday didn't have a clue what the formation was & didn't play with ant passion. Hockaday & Lewis have been bought in to get rid of players that have any real value. Never in a million years will it work when a owner decides who we buy & then expects a coach to coach them & if they fail he sacks the coach, has he thought he might at times buy the wrong players. MC will do everything right off the pitch & put us in a good place, however he must put his trust in a coach & let them decide who we buy.

"3 home games could make or break Hockaday, "

I hate to say this, but if Middlesborough hammer us at home on saturday I don't think there will be a third one.

That is always supposing Ackerington Stannnley don't cause the upset that might do the trick first.

I was hoping for a roller coaster ride this year, unfortunately I think it's going to be a donky derby at best.

"Hockaday & Lewis have been bought in to get rid of players that have any real value"

That, my friend, is the only thing that they have done well, first McCormack, then Lees, next Byram and rumours are Poleon may already be gone, I seriously hope not.

I thought we were getting rid of the dead wood, unfortunately a lot of it is still playing and displacing the few talents we have got.

Weren't we all saying Lees and Poleon were not good enough last season? Were we not expecting Mcbadgekisser to move on after his January outburst? Can Byram cut it as a the Prem star he thinks he is after one good and one average season in the Championship? No player is bigger than the club, and I agree that things are still in transition at the club and this season might be a struggle,at least the likes of Byram will go for more than a tenner and a handshake ,or a fee and a Morison!

Well said Vinny
People forget Mcbadgekisser wanted to go in jan and again last month. All the players that you mentioned were being slated by everyone on ere last season but you let em go and they moan lol

Funny old world

9.) 12 Aug 2014
Last season mcbadge kisser was bigger than the club he kept us up single handed and if not replaced he could go up while we go down. please remember our club is being made smaller by the person in charge. who would play for cockaday? it would seem our club are about as big as a local pub team at the moment just one with fantastic support, but support doesn't win matches if it did we would still be in champs league

what a load of twaddle bw, if I remember rightly there was 11 a side most games, without the other ten ross the toss would've been relegated, show some support
