I hear everyone moaning but I feel its been a decent window. I can't help but feel everyone is getting annoyed because nothing was done on hype of Deadline day. if we had doen nothing all jan But we had signed Carayol/ Bridcutt and Toums on deadline day everyone would be buzzing. What we need improving and changing you can't do in one window.
The only thing I do agree is we sold bryam for 3-4 mill and saw none of it. But i'm happy all together. MOT.

I agree that, Toums, Bridcutt and Carayol would have been considered good signings on deadline day if we had signed them yesterday . However IMO we would have been in a relegation place if Bridcutt had not com in when he did , so I doubt nine of the 3 would have signed for us in that position . Just a thought, maybe we are all missing the point . Leeds in the championship, with a very low wage budget, not much transfers in. just loans etc is a profitable business! With our great support and not much outlay maybe it makes the profit a business man wants . Understandably getting to the premiere league would bring untold riches, But it would also cost in wages, transfers of better players cost more . but if you're a business man without much, money would a yearly income of say £1/ 2/ 3 or even 5 million only guessing, be a good amount of money to make.? Just a thought! All they have to do, is keep the fans believing, whilst taking it in, because I for one have no doubt that Mr Cellino ain't in this for his love of Leeds United .

Possibly they've looked at the position we're in and thought there was very little realistic chances of reaching the play-offs. We'd need to average 2 points per game to achieve that and whilst it's doable, it's also highly unlikely. Therefore the powers that be might consider there will be better value in the summer transfer window.
I know it's another season gone by but if we finish top 10, we might be a better proposition to attract incoming players. I can't see the point of going for broke, buying or loaning just anybody to appease the fans and then failing because the ask is too much.

Agree Mick, your better off playing coyle phillips erwin and see what they really made off than getting old ex prem players on high wages so it improves there chances of a international call up for a rubbish nation!

like I said i'm happy with the window think evans is building a sqaud. next season if he is allowed to stay will be a totally different team I reckon.

Furthermore, it looks like the only move open to Lafferty will be in the emergency loan market. Norwich wanted him to go on a permanent but now that's not an option, looks like a deal could be back on the cards. Not an ideal choice but at least we won't be lumbered with him after the season ends and can hopefully add a bit more quality in the summer transfer window.

Plus if he buys back Elland Road and Thorpe Arch, he'll have no more excuses as to how the club is losing money!

Spot on Mick. The playoffs for me were gone when we got beat by the Wendies. A run of not cracking results left us destined for mid table mediocrity. We ain't got 13M for Rhodes and the top 6 at the moment have to gamble in the transfer market with the lure of the Prem and all its riches next season. Just because we didn't sign some has been on deadline day doesn't make Celinio el Diablo! We have a manager on a temporary contract, so until that is decided why give him sh!t loads of cash? My only worry is we have been here before. If the cash is not spent in the summer, then all the Celinio haters will be justified.

i agree with you Mm. on a different note the Gaelic football season has started here in Ireland, you'r team Mayo have started badly! They have a new manager with a funny accent! I think his name is Hughie Rossler? . Mot.

If following Leeds breaks your heart, try following Mayo! Always the bridesmaids, never the bride. Still I like a trip to Dublin to see us lose!
