Joel Ekstrand's agent Martin Dahlin says they're still negotiating a deal with lufc chairman Massimo Cellino for the defender to join Leeds
Dahlin says Ekstrand's knee is as stable as it was prior to injury and that has been confirmed by a independent London specialist today. Lufc

I'd just take a chance on a one year deal with option of a further year dependant on performance.
I wouldn't see him as 1st team anyway, I reckon it'll be Bartley and Cooper with Bamba as stand in.
Just just to firm up the numbers I'd take a chance if his wage demands weren't high and let him settle into the club without the pressure if needing to use the guy right away.
There's early rounds if the Capital One cup he could be used for and development matches.
Worth a chance because at his best he wasn't half bad.
