7-0 against Cardiff
Penalty scored against cardiff
Clean sheets galore
Long spans of wins on the trot
Winning, not losing, in the last kick of a game.
If we get promoted, will this be the best season Leeds have ever had, or one of?
For the old heads, has it ever been better to be in the stands at ER?

I still think the Bielsa years were more fun and extremely special. Maybe because we regained our identity and pride after being in the doldrums for so long. It unified not just the terraces but the whole City and beyond.

Agree Alf.

It would have been very, very close MoT, had it not been for what Alf mentions, and a certain Mr Howard Wilkinson. Clearly I’m not from the Revie era, so can’t comment on that, but in my times of being in the ground from ‘79/ 80 onwards, those Wilko days were incredible.

I was around in the Revie era, but young and there was far less exposure of teams beyond the terraces. My age now, living in them days, I imagine it was something to behold. As it was, I had little real understanding of what the team was achieving. I remember being devastated for the first time listening to Wolves beat us 2 - 1 leading to the loss of the title. I guess I would have been 10 years old. I have been going to Elland Road for 50+ years and for me, the most enjoyable time was when I was watching Wilko’s team in Division 2 and Division 1. I truly looked forward to be at Elland Road. The O Leary period was entertaining, but I never really liked him; he largely stood on Wilko’s shoulders and his youth policy.
Grayson’s team was a good watch. Bielsa was a roller coaster and like others have said, his influence on the club went far beyond the pitch. He brought recognition and reputation back to the club and exposed us internationally again. We stopped being the butt of everyone’s jokes.
I really like the current team and the manager and whilst I am anxious about the potential of EPL football, I really want this team (the current players) to get their chance, because they would have earned it.
Revie’s team statically the best team, but Wilko’s is still my favourite as I was “peak” fan then, going to virtually all matches (home and away) …. these days, I probably only go to 20% of games. The game is no where near the spectacle it once was, with far too much exposure on TV, and the “typical” fan is very different (expectations far too high)

For me this season is just better but think Belisa catches the heart because it was so long in the dulmdurms. Belisa won because he came first which does make sense. This will just be another recent promotion after two years. The romance ain’t there.
However everything about this season is the best it’s been since Wilko for me
Even under o nearly it was amazing but ultimately should of been better.

Makes more sense to ask this question in May
As in reality nowt success has been achieved yet by Farkey namely all about getting promotion
Best successful eras
The Don then Sgt Wilko
Soft spot. for Jimmy Armfield era robbed of the greatest trophy
Oleary and Bielsa eras also very good
Best season ever League Winners 91/ 92 season. because so unexpected.

Great point ani about O’Leary they should of kept Wilko bit longer as start of rebuild.
Pretty sure Wilko signed Lucas, bowyer, martyn and few others just before being let go. If only he’d of stayed o think it would of been very different
I think one thing about this season is lack of drama which does in own way detract. Look at the pablo goal against the swans a pivotal point and meant the worl md to us all… this year we’d be three nil up at half time losing the drama and rollercoaster effect.

Berma there was plenty of (unwanted) " drama" in the Pompey home gane Sunderland and Hull away games etc.
