Great post Southern. We wouldn't have a club to debate about if not for Mr Cellino. Think Pearson / Rosler will prove to be great assets. Well done to Massimo for identifying the need to employ people who have experience of the championship hence the change of coach. I didn't however agree with the way he handled the situation with NR. Unfortunately he was out of his depth. Hope he takes up the offer of academy otherwise he will have to drop down leagues to gain experience. I am really looking forward with positivity to next season.MOT.

Agree and allready had £50 bet on promotion as I am confident we will sign two or three quality players this summer and as we are getting experienced personel into the right areas think we will be a different club next season.

Bermondsey and Bige, we will have a better season no doubt but I expect us to be just outside the play offs. Last time I checked we don't really even have one goalscorer.

BW you had us relegated after that game with that team of pikeys you're always banging on about at the start of last season!

I would probably fall into the category of, as you call us 'MC haters' although not knowing the bloke personally, I think the word 'hate' would be a bit strong.

I certainly think he's a self egotist, a coward and a bully but I will still be supporting Leeds from the stands at as many games as I can next season and always will no matter who is in charge.

So if you're trying to say that if Leeds win promotion we will be hypocrites for celebrating Cellion's success, then you're wrong. Leeds United are bigger than any one man and will be here long after he has got bored and followed the cameras to his next project!

Sorry Mick but Cellino will be here for the long haul if his work with Cagliari is any indication. Agree with your description of him apart from the coward bit, is big headed and although maybe not meaning to comes across as a bully. However he has only been in charge for a year made mistakes, had had a ridiculous amount of mess to deal with and think he has realised the need for a good management team as he is unable to do it all himself, especially when he may not be here for half the season. Two or three good signings and we will see what happens. Trouble with todays fans is they want instant success from everyone, players coaches owners and they are quick to criticise. Calling for Cellino to go after a year, in which he has done a lot, when no one else is in the frame to buy us, is like suicide for the club. We keep saying he should tie coaches and players to two and three year contracts and but not willing to give him that time. I for one am looking forward to next season, shame about Redders, dealt with it all wrong but we do not know what has been said behind the scenes. Fully behind Rosler and Cellino, MOT

I did have us relegated after the game against millwall (again gillinham are pikeys not south londoners) and I was spot on and very birght to say so. Millwall went down yet the carp team played us off the park. Under hock we had no chance of staying up. So as you bring that up is only shows my foresight and genius.

You are right leeds is bigger than one man. What I was saying was if we go up it would be massive achivement would people than give mc credit not saying hypocrties. I hated hock but if he got us up I would let him keep my wife, just means I would of been wrong. turns out I was right, let's hope I am also right about mc and he turns out to be good for the club.

AlsoMc is not a coward and if by getting bored his track record is anything to go bydont hold breath as his last project lasted over 20 years, it would seemhis attention span is quite long and while he is here I shall support him untill he gives major reason not to, like bates did

Let's hope that our season lasts longer than usual, it would be nice to have something to cheer after September!! I'm very optimistic about Uwe and let's just keep our fingers crossed that MC stays out of his plans, I think that is where Pearson will definitely earn his pennies. I watched Premier League years last night on Sky and it was the year we got relegated, a very sad sad day but it's now time to move on, we need good results which will breed good press which will be a welcome change. Come on Leeds, Uwe please get us back to where we belong, oh one more comment, sorry Simon Grayson but I hope you get stuffed against Swindon nothing against you mate but when you dance with The Devil you get what you deserve, how the hell that man Ridsdale is in that position/ Roll is beyond me, he souls of been banned for life, he is unfit and not proper he couldn't run a bath. Come on Swindon!

I think when Cellino first came promising all sorts he was acting like a kid in a sweet shop, (pardon the pun). In other words you want to buy everything in the shop but you've only got enough for a quarter of midget gems.
I don't see him as a liar, just a bit of a fantasist who didn't realise how bad things were. He also thought he had to make promises to get us onside. Again silly but not vindictive.
I feel really optimistic now about next season and feel we need to just get behind Cellino, Pearson and Rosler.
IMO Cellino was never going to keep Redfern on past the end of the season wherever we finished in the league. He just never really fancied him. I mean he called Darko a good looking fella, he never said that about Redfern did he? :)

Like the sound of 4-4-3, It's certainly attacking but didn't work for Gary Mac. Think we will need a change of traing methods, as this system needs fitter players than we had last term. Love the chant Ausman. Let's hoe we here it throughout the season.

21 May 2015 15:24:17
Opinion is firmly divided over NR. A lot of people are looking at him as the Messiah and others say he was garbage.
I believe he under-achieved with the squad we have because he played his favourites and didn't give a chance to some of the others.
I also believe that he did this deliberately to provoke Cellino by undermining Cellino's foreign signings. He must have known he was putting his head in a noose. I also believe that he alienated those players who felt they were being overlooked and the kids put in their place. Antenucci, Sloth, Montenegro were either ignored or pushed to one side; he also insisted on playing a striker (Morrison) whose goal return is pathetic. He may be a good hold-up player but what we lacked was goals. Doukara and Antenucci were goal scorers and Montenegro untried. Billy Sharpwasn't the answer his best days arte behind him.
He did a reasonable job keeping us up, but we should never have been near the drop zone with the squad we have. He persisted too long with the diamond formation which didn't work and his use of substitutes was nothing short of diabolical.
I like Redders for his support of the club and his great work at the academy and have a great deal of sympathy for him because of the public assassination given to him by Signor Fruitcake.
However, I'm not sorry we have replaced him with an experienced coach in Uwe Rosler and I really hope fans will get behind him and give him a chance, after all he didn't fire Redders, Cellino did.
Finally, I hope he stays to work with the academy but wouldn't blame him if he took a job elsewhere. Thank you NR for giving it your best shot. MOT.

Massivego

I & others predicted from the start that his involvement would ultimately come to grief before too long. His ego is even bigger than his mouth and he is already a confirmed liar once you review the comments below.

Track record to date:

Managers -he's keeping to his past dismal record (36 coaches in 22 years) and is already on his fifth in 16 months at Leeds! It was obvious that Neil was becoming too popular and stealing the image that he had been trying to cultivate as the "nice Guy" with cheap public stunts such as buying drinks in local pubs. Once he had been relegated (o what a dream) away from ER then he was unable to continue and grew very jealous.

Hark back to last November when he stated "Cellino hopes to keep Neil Redfearn as head coach for the next 10 years" Again a typical "off the cuff" response to raise his profile and make him popular! Cellino questioned Redfearn's relationship with the Leeds fans at last weeks press conference, ending by gesturing with his chest and claiming that it takes more than passion to run a successful football club. His degrading comments calling him weak and a baby should be examined by the authorities.under current employment law

His retribution, once he thought we were safe from relegation, was to instruct his puppet Salerno to suspend Thompson so as to destabilise Niels work just enough to ensure that we did not get any closer to a top 6 finish that would have made this latest change more difficult. When Neil managed a recovery in form then he clearly engineered the player revolt of his useless bunch of Italians.

Players - Most of his recruitment - coming from an expert with deep knowledge of the game! Was clearly not of sufficient quality to play at Championship level which is much higher than Italian 2nd division. Any skilled coach was not going to use them - if Neil had made greater use and failed he would then have been criticised for not bringing through the younger players. There was no way he could win -dammed if he did & dammed if he didn't.
He has extended Lewis Cook's contract - but reputedly only for

Investment - Everyone seem s to think he's injected large sums of cash -really?
Yes he bought out 75% of GFH but significantly not all their shares. He has not bought back ER,
He has benefitted from the sale of McCormack £11.5m and Smith £0.5m with a promise that these funds would go towards buying back ER.
His recruits were for the most brought in on loan & on low wages.
The promise by Cellino that between him and GFH they will inject £23.5million of capital into a club has been yet another broken promise.
So yet again we are left asking where has the money gone. Very probably on paying his family and other so called experts (Umbers, Salero etc.) inflated wages as directors!

The man - what can be said about him other than he is as mad as the proverbial hatter.
- Does almost anything to court publicity -good and bad
- thinks he can treat decent people with utter contempt (McDermott and Readfern)
- Is clearly not that clever - GFH ran rings round him over the sale
- Thinks he can do just what he wants -importing yachts' etc. without paying necessary tax (Surely even he would not have done what he did without taking appropriate advice - then again!)
- Persistently seeks to take credit for all the good actions (Playing the youngsters) and passing on any blame for bad actions (all those Italian misfits)

As a Wigan supporter said yesterday, Rosler and Cellino - What could possibly go wrong?

Come along Adam Pearson, get a team together with sufficient funds to take this club forward. Then put the skids under Cellino and send him packing back to Italy please.

From the points you made, I'd like to point out the following:

He bought out 75% of GFH but significantly not all their shares - This is because GFH still wanted 25%, and weren't willing to sell outright. It's very difficult to buy something that's not for sale.

Elland Road - It's been well documented that he's tried to buy it. He came across a VERY difficult seller, and then got himself disqualified by a disgrace of a FL Panel. I don't think the lack of ownership of ER can lay at MC's feet.

Players - Not sufficient quality for the Championship - I disagree, don't confuse quality with experience. They definitely have the quality, but not the experience, and that only comes with time. Give them a chance.

Serie B is not as good as Championship - It's different, with a completely different style, but that doesn't make it cr*p.

I've said numerous times lately, NR was tactically inept. He was cr*p at his job. He got what he deserved, his contract wasn't renewed extended. Did the media have a field day? Probably. Did they blow it out of proportion? Probably.
His heart is very much in the right place, unfortunately his skills and experience didn't match those required by what many deem to be a "massive football club".

I get a little fed up with the conspiracy theorist, glass half empty, woe is me, everybody hates me, type of posters who think every action that involves LUFC, its staff and players is the end of the world.
Football has become a hyper competitive market place. It truly is a cut-throat, results business, which in turn attracts cut-throat decisions. Sorry to be so blunt, but the world isn't against us, but at the same time, neither is MC.

Great posts guys, both points were well thought out & make sense. I have to agree with the original post however, the thing that urks me the most is Cellino appoints these people & never gives them a chance a building a team Hockaday & Milanic were never the right appointments & nobody could have got more out of the team than Redfearn, yet rather than just say thanks but no thanks Cellino has to slag of the manager & make totally unnecessary comments that do him or the club no good

great post richard 111, best post from a bradford fan on this site. Calling for our Chairman to be looked at for employment laws. nice one. please find below a post from a proper leeds fan who wants to march on together, not slate

MC saved club, no MC equals none league football and jumpers for goal post.

Yes he goes through lots of managers but it worked for little caliagri who punched above weight with MC and without him got reliagated back to their proper station.

I did not agree with his management choices but still support who he gives job to until otherwise

suggestions of MC destablising Redders is circumstancal and laughable. Your saying MC don't want to see leeds in prem and make more moeny. If he has a massive ego best way to massage that ego is take us back to prem.

Yes he has big gob, yes he is passionate. he loved his last club and was loyal. he he says nothing he gets slaed for being quiet, for keeping fans in dark when he speaks he gets mocked.

His buys have been good really, silvestri, bamba, ant, binachi all done well with potential to do better

no MC no leeds and all we know about this man is he did amazingly well at his last club let's hope he does the same with us and get off his back. Marching on together not slagging off without the guy having chance to do his job. Like or hate him give him chance and give him credit for his good as well as bad.

Well looking forward to next season. Cellino seems to be putting a management team together to run the club so he may take a bit of a back seat, but guess he will still have a say in transfers which is fair enough as long as Rosler has same input. Rosler obviously wants to manage Leeds. He could have gone for numerous management posts throughout the season but did not so he has been waiting for the right club. He obviously has a plan and wants success, so its onwards and upwards. Hope he brings Gunnar Halle over to join him, great bloke
