Luke Ayling has apparently signed a new 4 year deal with LUFC.

1.) 01 Oct 2019 06:25:00
Should get about 12 months out of him then.

2.) 01 Oct 2019 08:25:00
Good player on his day, needs to stay injury free. Glad he has signed up again.

3.) 01 Oct 2019 10:17:07
Agreed Mezzer only problem is most of his days are on the physio, s table.

4.) 01 Oct 2019 13:30:58
Good player at this level but it was a no brainer really. Would only go to another championship club if he did not sign and he is settled here with his family, guess Barnsley did not appeal to him lol.

02 Sep 2019 17:38:42
Nessy joins League Two club Mansfield Town on loan until end of season.

1.) 03 Sep 2019 12:27:18
You stags!

02 Sep 2019 17:33:34
Callum Nicell leaves LUFC.

1.) 03 Sep 2019 12:29:03
Shame for the lad but he needs to play games

Hopefully he’ll pick up a decent club and progress

Once a white, always a white

Unless you’re a t*at about leaving.

02 Sep 2019 13:13:13
Black 🐱 set to acquire De Bock on season long loan.

1.) 02 Sep 2019 15:04:35
Was a good player in there somewhere, though not cut out for Bielsaball. Will be interesting to see if he can get his head sorted and rescue a career in England. If he can, he might make it into a bottom half Prem team, hopefully with us looking down on his exploits from the top half.

2.) 03 Sep 2019 20:04:59
What drugs are you on this week clueless 😜.

08 Aug 2019 09:47:42
Official confirmation from LUFC about season long loan for Meslier. May make Saturday's squad subject to international clearance.

Bazooka Reading your most recent post on Banter 2, you seem to think you are living in an ideal world. Bielsa needs to adapt to what has been provided. Do I think he's been shortchanged by Radz? Yes, slightly. The problem is there's been little to no adaptive reaction from him in terms of style. Yes, James was the answer but he didn't get him. One of the first things you are taught in the military or by a serious employer is to adapt to your environment. In other words, "🐎 for courses". This is why we beat WBA but lose to Charlton and Millwall. Bielsa used to do his version of adapting (spying) but it was deemed unsporting. Ever since then our form has been not much better than mid-table. I advocate a more natural adaptation such as amending formation to cope with the various threats each opponent offers instead of the 70% possession, only 2 clear cut chances a game and then hoping Paddy can stick them or even just one away chestnut. You're certainly entitled to your opinion including the right to name call Berm and I and presumably Chris Chris. You can even worship the Argentine if you wish. Yes, you touched a nerve. It's because I love my club and want what's best for them. Differing opinions as to how that's done. You can hope, think and act like a mega rich owner is the answer but whilst we've never had such an owner in our century existence to date, I'll keep myself grounded while others are free to fire bazookas into the clouds and hope to ensnare a purple unicorn emblazoned with "4-1-4-1 formation rules ok, you just need mostly world-class players and I can help with that". Simples.

1.) 07 Oct 2019 11:27:10
Well said george, nothing wrong with saying it how you see it mate. Looking at Radz Twitter post, lots of Leeds fans now calling him out on the lack of investment. Maybe he will react and buy a centre half in January maybe (more than likely) he won't. Bielsa may also be the best coach we've had for awhile, but even the best lose their edge and eventually fail. Don't agree with all your posts George but you speak sense most of the time.

2.) 07 Oct 2019 12:10:27
FLW site running a poll, did Radz do enough in transfer window to help, so far 98% NO.

3.) 07 Oct 2019 12:30:32
George, I am with you on the post on this particular thread. Realistic and uncontroversial. Keep them up fella

You know I am with Spanish (glass half full) but with a shot of realism on the side.

Don't actually want a billionaire owner if I am honest. I want this owner to just loosen the purse strings ever so slightly and buy 2 marque signings a season and I will overlook the others being bought cheap and sold expensive (but just to be straight Radz didn't buy either Janssen, Clarke or Roofe so he can't use them as examples of that philosophy, and I can't think of any Radz purchases that have worked out that way? )

4.) 07 Oct 2019 12:26:30
Bieksabud yes of courss Radz has not done anywhere near enough in the transfer windows . a huge missed opportunity in January in particular .

5.) 07 Oct 2019 12:34:34
Bielsabud, Even I'd agree with that. Does not change the fact that Bielsa is too stubborn for our good.

6.) 07 Oct 2019 12:45:15
all it required was Radz to invest in better players and actually buy what was required last January. a wide player and another striker . it didn't require 'mega bucks ' . but Radz showed little intent as was proven by not actually buying again any players in the summer. Radz is sitting on huge player transfer sales income . that is the real issue you and Leeds fans should focus on.

7.) 07 Oct 2019 14:08:46
i agree about rads and like wex was judgemental of him. but i think the point we are missing is this.

the teams going up haven't invested either. fine to blame rads if cardiff, norwich and sheff utd all spent 100 million but they didn't we spent more than all of them. so why ain't we going up? I look at the manager if wilde and warnock can get poor teams up on a tenner why can't belisa get leeds up on fifty quid?

8.) 07 Oct 2019 15:10:39
Post of season to Berm.

06 Oct 2019 12:36:05
Challenge to Bazooka. Name the players who are lacking in quality who you'd replace. First teamers please. So, for example, can't be Bera who does not qualify as he's normally a sub.

1.) 06 Oct 2019 12:52:29
Lol. George you have posted this twice now better gk better left winger better goalscorer better 3rd choice cb.

2.) 06 Oct 2019 13:22:54
Bazooka Questions for you. 1. Why did we go for Casilla? 2. Wasn't it a strange choice? 3. Are you saying Costa is poor? 4. Do you find it weird we don't even have a 3rd choice centre back?

3.) 06 Oct 2019 13:29:21
Can i chip in here George. For me the two stand outs are Harrison and Bamford, for all the work they put in they achieve very little. Klich also at the moment is not firing. Question should be who do you . put in and will it make any difference. Seems to me we have learned how to keep the ball just need to work out how to put it in the net. Also how to defend with midfielders as CBs are not a priority anymore.

4.) 06 Oct 2019 14:00:48
if leeds manager I would not of gone for harrision again and for me protioty would of been centre back. Cooper is not good enough and beradi should never of been considered for leeds first team,

of course i would of sold phillips but outside of that i think our squad is good enough.

5.) 06 Oct 2019 14:42:05
bud as always good point i love klich but he need benching.

6.) 06 Oct 2019 18:38:15
Bazooka Still waiting on you to answer the questions. Wonder why you do not? Could it be "Bielsaball"? 🤔.

7.) 06 Oct 2019 19:08:18
George. your questions serve no further purpose. I have already explained that Radz is at fault with under investment denying us promotion last season but anyway as you insist

The recruitment of the gk is down to Radz not wanting to apend a fee of £4.5 million on Darlow at Newcastle. the gk is an Orta Radz signing
Bamford is an Orta signing . as he was an Orta signing too signed when hw signed him for Boro

I agree about Berardi . he should not be a 3td optiion for centre back. bit I suspect this is Finance decisions related to Radz not wanting to sign. another cb and making do with Berardi.

8.) 06 Oct 2019 21:00:33
Bazooka My point is a goalkeeper and striker (and reserve central defender) have nothing to do with style and formation. Orta's picks yes and Radz tight fisted yes but the main fault lies with Bielsa. You always strive to get best out of team but you need a Daniel James to make our team work. We didn't get him yet we persist with the strangeness. I can tell Klich is getting bored, Clarke wants out, Roberts looks frustrated and something is wrong with Costa but they are all fine players. Why not let them express themselves attack wise and not concern oneself with opponents? Bielsa is selfishly trying to vindicate his madness. He's the problem.

9.) 06 Oct 2019 21:29:58
George momentum and confidence are crucial. at the moment the team has lost a fair degree of both . next 4 games vital must win matches to kick start the momentum and confidence to energise the team.

I don't believe the system OR Bielsac the problem its the players not having the skills and confidence to score. most of them are not goalscoring players Roofe has left, Pablo is injured, Klich isn't trying to score because he wants to leave. Bamford needs to score to rediscover his confidence. Roberts, Harrison, Forshaw? Very few to no goals . therein lies the problem .

10.) 06 Oct 2019 23:50:05
if this is rads and ortas fault Bazooka then how comes Belisa has had this problem of players not scoring a lot for chances created at other clubs. this problem has followed Belisa all his career same with second half blow out.

seems odd that this pattern follows Belisa yet is nothing to do with him?

11.) 07 Oct 2019 00:05:58
Bazooka Yet Bielsa has persistently been cavalier and deflecting when it comes to scoring goals indicating in interviews he is only capable of teaching how to fashion chances, not finish them. Fault lies with him for under concentrating on end product which is something his style sadly fosters and festers. Simples.

12.) 07 Oct 2019 08:29:53
George and BW . we have already witnessed the 'wonderful success' of Radz and Ortas with managers TC and Heckingbottom. The woeful recruitment AND SALES OF OUR BETTER PLAYERS OF THE PAST 2 YEARS is 100 %; Orta and Radz and it's not good.

Bielsa is a head coach and has done wonders with these much lesser players. He is not doing Ortas job of recruiting players who in turn is hampered by the woeful financial constraints under Radz

The main reason for Pep Guardiolas success is that he only chooses to manage the best team in each league Barca, Bayern, Man City each with huge financial resources to buy the best players . the best players to create and score goals.

Whereas the clubs that Bielsa have managed have been in comparison financially modest where he is working with much cheaper lesser talented players with his biggest challenge ever Leeds United under the cards he has been dealt by the 'dream team ' of Radz and Orta NOT.

Make no mistake George and BW if Leeds get promoted this season it will be 99% down to Bielsa and 1% Radz and Orta who have sold players and not replaced them these past 2 years and bought in lesser talented loan players in general.

No disrespect to you guys but I respect the opinion of Guardiola far, far, far more who really rates Bielsa over your 2 misguided foolish opinions of Bielsa.

06 Oct 2019 00:27:55
I remember when we had central defender depth of a reasonable standard. No Beckenbauers but they were physically able to cope with the league, could put in a shift and not give fans advance concern before a game or palpitations during it. Leigh Bromby Richard Jobson Patrick Kisnorbo Richard Naylor Lubomir Michalik Tom Lees Jason Pearce. Bera isn't even a central defender. Don't understand why Struick not on bench. Bielsa thinks Davis is ahead of him but he's a left back and we had Douglas. I am also just beginning to detect genuine anxiety on face of Bielsa now. Think he will walk fairly soon.

1.) 06 Oct 2019 00:32:06
Robert Molanraar. forgive spelling probably had the most positive impact when he was brought in. We need somebody like him now.

2.) 06 Oct 2019 09:02:39
geogre best post ever. how MB thought two Cb's was enough is beyound mental and sackable in own right. BEraddi should be no where near leeds right back spot let alone CB.

3.) 06 Oct 2019 09:58:06
Bw and George - those defenders are responsible for conceding 6 at home to Preston 5 at home to Blackpool both under Grayson and 7 at home to Forest under Warnock.

4.) 06 Oct 2019 10:24:21
Bazooka They certainly had their bad games but did they get sent off on average every 15 games? Did they get sent off in a 2nd leg of a playoff semi-final? Were they vertically challenged which no central defender should be in the Championship?

5.) 06 Oct 2019 11:15:55
Very good point bazooka.

6.) 06 Oct 2019 11:23:55
The only ones in your list that I would put even on par with our current squad of CBs from that list are Kisnorbo and Pearce.

7.) 06 Oct 2019 11:40:47
George, I agree on Berardi I would not pick him at all abd certainly not centre back. Bielsa error of judgement.

My point was with the players you listed

I have seen them concede a barrel load of goals over the seasons under Grayson, Warnock abd other managers .

This season we will not concede 5, 6 or 7 at home that is for sure.

8.) 06 Oct 2019 11:56:33
Sorry, meant Lees as well.

05 Oct 2019 17:59:42
Mateusz Klich becoming next Tommaso Bianchi slowing game down hindering us helping our opponent. Time for the other Mateusz. Take note Bub if you can read English of course.

1.) 05 Oct 2019 19:11:19
Lol when season started we were all upbeat about young ones pushing for a place, Edmo, Bogus, etc. Wonder what happened.

2.) 05 Oct 2019 19:24:50
They don’t get a game. I’m all for the youngsters getting a shout. But they don’t.

3.) 05 Oct 2019 19:32:12
Klich becoming the player we sent on loan the season before last. Bielsa needs to use this break to analyse his tactics as it isn't working well. We seem to be a one trick pony, and I struggle to see this season ending any different from the last.

05 Oct 2019 17:30:36
We're all mouth no trouser.

1.) 05 Oct 2019 19:33:26
Bielsa won't last the season!

2.) 05 Oct 2019 22:10:46
agree with you mezzer, i feel that he is. going to start feeling the vibe that fans are getting. annoyed with his favourites always getting picked.

3.) 05 Oct 2019 23:05:20
said that ages ago. i got money on it and got laughed at and berrated.

Canada Venture it's possession, creating chances and sticking them away. Personally, I think he's lost the plot, anxiety has crept in and he's a ripe candidate to enter Martyn's Bexley wing once the Big Fella returns from Lanzagrotty with new Spanish girlfriend in tow.

CC Been banging the 4-4-2 drum for ages now, at least at home. Still think Bielsa's system away and bringing on the big guns last 20 minutes has its tactical merit for some but not all fixtures.

I've already told you guys his sale in January is inevitable. Radz won't turn down that kind of wonga especially if there's no signature from KP.

Cork Actually I believe I was intentionally silent on that issue because that's much harder to tell. However, I can't imagine the Qataris being content with anything less than a majority share. I can see an initial investment with takeover and anti-takeover trigger provisions being activated upon certain circumstances arising.
