Poveda has signed with Sunderland.

MoTagain

1.) 25 Jul 2024 14:19:03
The lad has undoubted talent. IF he can translate that onto pitch with assists and goals. well.

BUT. so far he hasnt.

2.) 25 Jul 2024 16:05:00
He can and has looked lively, skilful and capable, but only very, very sporadically. No loss to us, but I do think he will come good one day. Great character too. Hope he does well there, and they let us have Jack Clarke back!?

3.) 26 Jul 2024 03:46:41
Poveda more than twice as many games for Leeds than Leif Davis had. You aren't going to kick off about him leaving in three years are ya, Baz? ?.

4.) 26 Jul 2024 08:40:15
Dill I informed you previously of the facts of timing when I actually " kicked off " re LD .

Hey ho.

5.) 26 Jul 2024 09:46:00
I'm sure he will Dill.

6.) 26 Jul 2024 10:07:46
Just having a laugh mate.

03 Jul 2024 10:46:48
Llorente bid turned down.
Kamara receiving interest from France but Leeds have said they do not plan on selling.

MoTagain

1.) 03 Jul 2024 13:18:12
The Llorente deal will get done next week sometime imo. Smart to retain Kamara.

2.) 03 Jul 2024 13:18:12

3.) 04 Jul 2024 00:22:41
Agree. Keep wober and kamara.
Give liorente and coops away.

02 Jul 2024 11:12:58
Any word on Summerville or Gnonto leaving?

If we lose gray and keep those two.

MoTagain

1.) 02 Jul 2024 11:47:43
There will be very good offers for Summerville . he will leave

Not sure there will be for Gnonto. so may have to stay.

2.) 02 Jul 2024 12:10:17
£30m price tag on Gnonto.

3.) 02 Jul 2024 12:41:53
Baz Don't be so sure. There's been a moderate backlash from fans for sale of AG. 49ers may not wish to test the fans again this window.

4.) 02 Jul 2024 16:24:56
After the shenanigans Gnonto pulled at the start of last season, would be fans be sad to see him go?

£20 mil would buy us one heck of a striker.

5.) 02 Jul 2024 19:50:25
They probably don't want to test Cree either if he ends up downing tools.

6.) 02 Jul 2024 20:22:38
I would be happy to see him go. Needs a heck of a lot more development imo to make a real impact.

7.) 03 Jul 2024 08:05:33
I’d like to keep Gnonto more than Cree. I think the bad advice he received last summer from his agent has been forgiven and forgotten, and he can switch to his favoured left side if Cree goes, with DJ on the right still. A decent CF signing will transform this team.

We should buy Toney.

Chelsea and a couple of others are rumoured to be bidding for him. We could flog Gnonto and have enough spare to buy him (valued at 50 mil Euros) .

He's Prem ready and, if promoted, we would make bank on him.

MoTagain

1.) 21 Jul 2024 16:11:56
I can’t imagine he would join us over a premier league club or how we can compete on the wages either.

2.) 21 Jul 2024 16:39:30
MoT His mooted purchase price is around £45M. So we'd have to beat, smash and actually triple the current incoming transfer buy record to a Championship club.

3.) 21 Jul 2024 16:54:58
What Mighty said.

4.) 21 Jul 2024 17:57:55
Methinks that was a tongue in cheek post!

5.) 21 Jul 2024 18:48:54
I was being serious. Toney could add promotion to his CV and accolades. Or sit on a bench for a top Prem club, earning money but not playing much.

6.) 21 Jul 2024 18:56:36
Like Brighty I thought you were jesting!
For obvious reasons we ain’t going to sign him but to me he is vastly overrated and therefore way overpriced.
Brentford is his level. Just my opinion.

7.) 21 Jul 2024 18:57:31
Methinks you be wrong Bright.

8.) 21 Jul 2024 20:59:28
Methinks the repartee on this forum is wonderful ?.

9.) 21 Jul 2024 21:27:54
Can't be a serious post that mate ?.

10.) 21 Jul 2024 21:36:28
MOT multiple porkies flying over yer head as you type

Zilch chance Toney coming to Champo Leeds. He wouldn't choose an EPL Leeds over Chelsea either

And how is Gnonto worth more than Toney?

Has Aus hacked your account ??

19 Jul 2024 15:18:05
Will we see the B team rolled out against Harrogate and the A team sent out against Valencia?

MoTagain

1.) 19 Jul 2024 15:48:43
It’s the full A team MOT I believe from what I read it’s the first 11 so should be a good show.

2.) 19 Jul 2024 16:38:40
The A team Georgey?

So BA Baracus up front
And
Mad Murdoch in goal instead of Mes

Sorted.

3.) 19 Jul 2024 19:06:15
Baz I Farking used to love the A-Team. Complete class.

4.) 19 Jul 2024 19:59:33
Me too Georgey. naturally.

11 Jul 2024 15:45:56
We've given two more contracts to the yewf, bringing the total to five;

A goalie
A defender
A defensive midfielder
A midfielder
An attacker/ winger

I say, sign no one. Save the Dosh, use the yewf and those who stayed to bolster the ranks. When we win, we get mega money for selling yewf players.

MoTagain

1.) 11 Jul 2024 18:27:08
Joe Rothwell is supposedly in Leeds for a medical, prior to a season long loan
There's 1 midfielder in and to be fair, he's not a bad player.

2.) 11 Jul 2024 18:55:50
Scored 1 every 4 games for ⚜️⚜️ last season. Shrewd from the 49ers.

05 Jul 2024 23:36:45
Sacre bleu. The French have beaten Portugal.

Take that Ronaldo, you crying, cheating winker.

05 Jul 2024 11:44:03
The new kit is out. Same as the leaked photo on here from earlier on in the week.

MoTagain

1.) 05 Jul 2024 12:08:40
On a personal note, I am ok with the RB logo on it for all the cash they are investing. Looking forward to the away and third kits.

2.) 05 Jul 2024 13:08:26
looks pretty nice imo. I don't care about having red on the shirt one bit.

3.) 05 Jul 2024 13:10:11
Great point Feath I’m with you on this one, BOXT remain local sleeve sponsor but won’t be paying anything like red bull have weighed us in with, which probably solved a very tricky PSR challenge along with young Archie’s transfer.

Ideally would like the red bull logo to have been kept at blue, white and yellow but hey, it’s the biggest sponsorship deal in history for a championship team and can only help future investment.

4.) 05 Jul 2024 13:53:08
No problem at all with any LUFC rubbish having tbe words RED BULL . we have Red Kite and 32 RED previously

And absolutely ? agree with embracing Red Bull . their success and finance

Just not a fan of the image of bulls on shirt to want to buy one myself. Far prefer the words RED BULL.

5.) 05 Jul 2024 14:52:33
Always liked the logo. Had a pair of Thai boxing shorts with it on before it turned into a global brand.

6.) 05 Jul 2024 21:45:07
You should like it Baz, gives you license to talk more Bull than usual.

7.) 05 Jul 2024 22:56:01
Ha was that from the 'Cuppa Book of Dodgy Quips' . available in all penny stores.

Dill,

What would be the best options if we lose Prince and or Willy?

In his statement on BBC, Drameh emphasizes that Hull made him feel wanted, they welcomed him and want him there. He also says he likes the owner and club management at Hull because they made him feel wanted.

There's no secret that cresswell and farke didn't see eye to eye and that's why he left.

Farke is a divisive manager, isn't he?

Corky,

Piroe scored goals that had little impact. A third or fourth goal here and there, with exceptions, of course.
He's a skilled player and is great at putting the ball in the back of the net. He is not good at creating chances or keeping the ball.

He lost the ball to Harrogate, five out of six times. The man, and his career, are better suited elsewhere where no doubt he will knock them in for fun.

It's time to cut our losses and move on.

All the best to him if he moves on.

You're right Leo. If he could target and had the confidence to keep going even if he missed, he would be a world class player.

Georgi is my favourite player to watch. Squiddly diddly with a football.

Martin at Saints. He got lucky that he had us in the play-offs.

After that Cooper at the end of the season when Leicester get relegated again.

Aus, the team even say that they play better with Bamford on the pitch.
He chases balls downs, puts pressure on the goalie and defenders by always running at them and never stopping.
He's inconsistent Infront of goal for sure but he puts energy into the team that Piroe doesn't.

We played our best games last season with Bamford on the pitch.

Solid performance and Bogle and Rothwell have hit the ground running. They've done some great link play and both assisted with MJ goals.

It's going to be a fun season.

At this point, we should shuffle Bamford to coaching staff. Leeds owe him a debt of gratitude for what he's contributed to us. He may be hit and miss, but when he hits, boy does he.
He's humble enough to pass penalty and free kick shots onto other players and he's just a good lad.

Let him coach the yewf team as a thanks. He's always enthusiastic about taking the younger, senior team players under his wing.
