Hamer on the rumour mill merry-go-round again I see.
1.) 13 Jan 2026 22:23:14
Yeah 6mil apparently. Seems cheap in sure we were asked to pay around £13m when we were interested.
2.) 13 Jan 2026 23:15:07
He wouldn't last 15 minutes at this pace and regardless of goals, Hamer wouldn't fit in to the team.
I wouldn't play him over BA.
3.) 14 Jan 2026 03:34:30
Yeah. Pass on him now.
4.) 14 Jan 2026 12:33:19
shows how much BA has improved of late.
05 Aug 2025 09:09:21
AMN back on the rumours list at around 13, if true I think would be a decent purchase as can cover both back positions.
1.) 05 Aug 2025 23:35:22
Think I'd prefer Justin to AMN, but he's rumoured to be an Everton target.
03 Jul 2025 10:21:52
Perri agreed terms with Galatasaray reported.
24 Jun 2025 10:55:07
Rumour about Calvert-Lewin, better get medical room expanded, don't you just love click bait garbage.
1.) 24 Jun 2025 13:52:37
havent seen that - what is the source oldBri?
2.) 24 Jun 2025 14:56:49
News now.
3.) 24 Jun 2025 14:59:11
So not really a source as 99% is crap and ???.
4.) 24 Jun 2025 15:01:06
And it is on LeedsUnited. news.
5.) 25 Jun 2025 08:43:58
He's a very talented player, but unless he's free, and Keir Starmer redirects the cash from pensioners, and welfare for his salary, then he's too big a risk with our own injury track record!
6.) 25 Jun 2025 22:38:01
Thanks Oldbri.
7.) 25 Jun 2025 22:38:36
He would be free Brighton but he would still want a salary!
21 May 2025 09:31:09
Apparently Angel Gomes is on our radar.
1.) 21 May 2025 18:22:46
quality on a free appartently.

Here's my 2 penneth, we have stoped playing the way we did and winning. DCL has never been and never will be a lone striker, he needs a partner, our board have tunnel vision and have shot themselves in the foot by not buying a forward. Shortage of players due to injury will cost us big time and if we get relegated I for one will never forgive Underwood and co for failing this club.
I hope to god a surprise addition will arrive and shove my comments up my rear end, but at the moment I am feeling let down.
1.) 31 Jan 2026 19:01:55
Bri, it happens to this clubs fans season after season, false dawn after false dawn.
3 years ago we were let down by the owners and it’s happened again.
It appears that the risk averse mentality runs throughout the club, from recruitment to the way the “coach” sets us up.
The point a game mentality for me is negative thinking, we should have been punching for 10th not praying for 17th.
All around us are strengthening yet we just arrogantly fumble our way through another transfer mess.
All I want is an owner/ board to show the commitment to the club that the fans do.
For me flaccid Farke should have gone ages ago.
Starting Gruev game after game tells you all you need to know.
Even if we signed Messi and Ronaldo he wouldn’t start them until Mid March.
2.) 31 Jan 2026 21:05:11
I hope Farke keeps us up. Either way, time for him to go at the end of the season. He is trying his hardest to return to 3-4-3 and just like before, it isn't working.
3.) 31 Jan 2026 22:09:29
Correct, poor show to change a winning formation back to what was previously a loosing formation, can anyone explain the sense in this decision.
30 Jan 2026 12:05:49
JSL 40 plus million average premiership striker
Tammy Abraham 18 million average premiership striker
Just for comparison.
1.) 30 Jan 2026 14:01:34
Bri, there’s loads of strikers out there that could do a job for us.
Problem is our recruitment team seem to just fixate on 1 target at a time for so damn long.
I mean £40m would and should get us a back up LWB and CB as well as striker.
2.) 30 Jan 2026 19:02:34
And that's just what we need.
3.) 30 Jan 2026 21:24:52
Farke is very picky about who he wants. He wants skill, talent and a personality fit. That leaves us with very few who we can choose from.
28 Jan 2026 23:26:09
JSL I have not heard of any other offers for him, bit concerning that, however someone may well come in with a last minute offer and we get no one. I would look at others as not much time left and screw Wolves.
1.) 29 Jan 2026 00:27:21
That's why I said re-offer 1 mill less per day.
Force them to take our offer or lose it, so we can move on.
Go buy Harry Wilson plus a left back.
2.) 29 Jan 2026 07:02:33
We will wait for summer for Wilson as he is out of contract.
3.) 29 Jan 2026 08:03:10
Just wondering why Wilson will choose leds in the summer. Out of contract. Teams that finish above us will be interested and offer more money and possibly bit of euro thrown in. What would he join a team most likely enduring another struggle to stay up?
{Ed025's Note - i dont think you like Leeds very much do you Aus?, i think you are a team on the up and doing very nicely at the moment..
4.) 29 Jan 2026 08:14:26
I’m not convinced with Wilson.
No surprise in a contract year ( probably his last big contract at his age) he has the season of his career.
Other than this year he’s always been bang average.
He’s a free squad player at best imo.
5.) 29 Jan 2026 08:32:59
Wilson is massively over performing this season according to his stats. It's not sustainable at all. If we miss out on him I won't be too bothered. He wasn't even our first choice in the summer.
6.) 29 Jan 2026 09:02:45
Funny Ed. Agree we are on the up and trust me I love Leeds. But just raising the question why he would choose us. Maybe when we are established in 2 years time but def not this summer. ALAW. ?
Get your point though. I can be a miserable git.
{Ed025's Note - can’t you just mate ?
7.) 29 Jan 2026 14:43:23
can you really Aus? I hadnt noticed.
8.) 29 Jan 2026 14:57:15
It's going to be good Aus, don't mash yer swede. Don't particularly rate Wilson and where would he fit in as an upgrade on what we have already? If you look over the last two an a half seasons you can see Leeds building in all aspects, it takes time but I would suggest we are probably quite an attractive proposition for players.
Huge club improving with measured ambition, get in on the ground floor rather than go to a "big" club and struggle to play, go to a "established" club who perennially tread water? I think Leeds are better placed than your categorisation of them mate, just sayin ?.
17 Jan 2026 14:13:39
Well 10 mins to go and Pep is not a happy bunny ???? there he is rolling around his little balls of spit which is really disgusting to watch looking completely lost, hope it stays the same but whatever happens Mr Carrick deserves a pat on the back. I hat Man U but hate Pep even more.
1.) 17 Jan 2026 15:22:00
I had a work colleague once who was a MU supporter, he told me I was biased, but I said that couldn't be true because I didn't mind who MU got beat by.
Ideally I wanted a draw so that neither got 3 points, but like you I hate Pep, so I'll enjoy seeing the smug b. on MOTD trying to claim they were hard done by.
2.) 17 Jan 2026 16:13:40
"" world class "" manger on the cusp of 100 million secondary spend couldn't out do a rookie Champo manager
Seriously it laughable the superlatives put in front of a dozen or so managers
World. class. my hoop
Go manage Lincoln City Mr Guardiola and we shall see how that pans out.
3.) 17 Jan 2026 17:21:28
A few weeks ago we suddenly found a way of playing that made us more of an attacking threat and difficult to beat. Watching most of the Manchester derby today it appeared that getting rid of Amorin has lifted a weight off the player's shoulders and they played as though they were enjoying it on the park. Always good to get one over on Pep.
16 Jan 2026 14:16:52
Probably on my own here but I'm not sure about Strand Larson, when I have watched him on TV, he doesn't strike me as someone we need, as I say probably just me.
1.) 16 Jan 2026 15:01:02
It's a money spinner more than anything.
We can buy him for £40 million, make him look ace and flog him for £65 million six months later.
2.) 16 Jan 2026 15:44:18
40 for 19 appearances 1 goal this year not exactly setting the world alight.
3.) 16 Jan 2026 16:54:04
He looked and played better last season with good balls into the box
But he hasn't had the same so far this and has ended up been pants
Personally, I think DF will work his magic and improve the lad ??.
4.) 16 Jan 2026 17:22:52
I'm going to play the optimism card.
How many goals did DCL have last season, and the one before that?
How many goals did BA score in his last outting in the premier league?
JSL should make Beeston his home if he wants to return to form.
5.) 16 Jan 2026 18:06:08
There’s no way in hell it’s £40m, there were rumblings a last week he was being touted around at £25m.
I’d definitely take him over Dovbyk.
There aren’t many who fit the profile we seem to want.
6.) 16 Jan 2026 18:16:28
The first figure I heard was €35 euros (no idea why 2 English clubs discuss a price in euros)
Leeds said wolves are broke and will probably accept way less
Wolves responded with, we have a lot of interest.
Speculating here, it’ll be one that comes to fruition (if at all) towards the back end of the window once wolves know of all interest and bids. Then will sell at whatever price they can get if they know there premier fate is all but sealed as they know it’ll be more than they will get in summer as a championship club.
7.) 16 Jan 2026 18:56:18
Newcastle were trying to buy him in the summer for over €50 mill so if he can be got for around €30 million it’s a no brainier.
The lad scored 14 EPL goals last season!
If we want to be a serious competitive club we need competition in all areas.
26 Jan 2026 07:36:26
Agree Aus.
25 Jan 2026 14:18:31
Agree MoT totally.
24 Jan 2026 10:56:26
Still feel it is to much for an average pl striker although in fairness when he had Cunha with him at wolves he scored more but after losing him to Man U he has lost a very good feeder/ 10.
15 Jan 2026 14:31:34
Is that actually confirmed as with what happened last time, he would be a good signing.
06 Jan 2026 23:38:47
Please don't buy parrot.
31 Jan 2026 22:09:29
Correct, poor show to change a winning formation back to what was previously a loosing formation, can anyone explain the sense in this decision.
27 Jan 2026 20:19:03
Agree MoT he is a good player.
27 Jan 2026 09:45:56
We were getting battered in the 2nd half, clear to anyone watching, at 80 mins DF was sat down rubbing his chin and finally put fresh legs on at 85 mins. Hopefully this was a one off as over the past couple of months he has been proactive, this was the DF of old.
David Moyes saw his problems and put 2 subs on at half time which completely changed the game, we dominated 1st half and were unlucky not to be 2 up. However Everton scored, hit the crossbar and Darlow made a tremendous save, yet w jus carried on.
I have always liked Ao, but yesterday he was poor when he came on, BA who has been great recently went back to old ways trying to dribble past 2 or 3 then falling to the ground arms in the air as if to say that's not fair ref or getting in a good position only to turn around and lose the ball, BA is not Messi 2.0 or even close, however he has shown he can play and be an important member if the squad.
DCL is not and never has been a lone striker, of late he has had someone with him and showed he is a quality striker so why fix something that isn't broken.
This i believe and hope was a one off but performances like the 2nd half will not help our cause.
27 Jan 2026 07:31:14
Agree.
21 Jan 2026 23:15:53
Fully agree CA can't figure it out but whatever then reason let's hope for more of the same.
