I cannot believe what I am reading, possible sacking of Daniel Farke, surely this is just click bait.
I know I have had my doubts about some DF desicions but he has got promotion and possibly go up as champions, so to sack him is un bloody believable and to talk about it in the media, well words fail me.
{Ed025's Note - me too Bri..
1.) 23 Apr 2025 23:20:48
Strong rumours that he has been for the can since Swansea.
2.) 24 Apr 2025 00:49:48
Indeed Cuppa.
3.) 24 Apr 2025 06:02:41
It's a good sign for the club oldbri. It means they are absolutely serious at looking to achieve the highest levels of success in the PL and they aren't willing to take risks.
4.) 24 Apr 2025 08:27:32
It does beggar belief, but MoTs opinion is pretty much on the nose. Think ChrisChris said the same recently too. But if that means Mourinho, then, as much as I respect the guy, they won't be doing it credibly. Like Corky said, the only way they can get rid of Farke, and not upset a majority of the Fanbase, would be a huge name like Klop, Barcelona or the like.
5.) 24 Apr 2025 12:49:46
I think at least 60% of the fanbase would be open to a change of it was a decent manager.
04 Jan 2025 23:02:10
Looks like we will be keeping mes, let's be honest who would be stupid enough to buy him after that performance.
1.) 05 Jan 2025 01:38:22
OB I got no problem keeping Mes so long as we don't play him.
28 Aug 2024 08:51:04
Owen Wijndal is the latest name I have seen a left back at Ajax over to those in the know to say if he is worth 8.4 according to rumour.
1.) 28 Aug 2024 10:02:33
Owen Wijndal wants to join Leeds United who have shown the most serious interest for the player. Ajax prefer to sell but a loan with option to buy seems most likely.
2.) 28 Aug 2024 10:46:09
Wijndal was class a few seasons back but I've not watched him recently. If he's found his form again he'd be a really good signing.
3.) 28 Aug 2024 12:29:21
LUFC hierarchy recruitment
Previous 40 days
1 permo signing
1 crock loan
Way to go fellas
Little less speculation more action eh
Promotion is a MUST!
4.) 28 Aug 2024 12:41:27
Baz,
Bogle, Rothwell, Largie and Solomon. We know there's a good chance of two more coming in.
Rumours say at least one more going out.
5.) 28 Aug 2024 13:08:18
MoT. You will learn that Baz is “selective with facts”.
His motto is “ Keeping it real-ish”, and his claim to fame is “100% always above approximately 74% accurate”.
6.) 28 Aug 2024 13:12:19
If that is the case we are going to have one of the smallest or the smallest squad in the championship.
7.) 28 Aug 2024 13:40:42
Loads of freaks seem to be moving late tbh. At least we're bringing players in and not losing then like Burnley and Sheff are (potentially)
8.) 28 Aug 2024 13:55:13
This owen from Ajax looked a great 2 seasons ago but where linked with every Tom Dick n Harry.
9.) 28 Aug 2024 14:07:02
Sober good and gnonto prob and bad.
10.) 28 Aug 2024 16:03:46
Brighty just to correct yer
94% accurate ?.
11.) 28 Aug 2024 17:20:46
Lol. Fair enough Baz. Touché.
12.) 29 Aug 2024 07:55:28
Deffo meant to write teams and not freaks ?.
27 Aug 2024 13:32:26
So turned down 8 for Dejan and we may up the bid, sod that pay for hamer, we offered 13 they will sell for 18 apparently pay it and forget Dejan still think he will be trouble and let's be fair hamer would be some signing.
1.) 27 Aug 2024 14:31:24
Makes sense that, Bri. Agree.
2.) 27 Aug 2024 18:27:22
He's stalled at Zee Lane.
3.) 27 Aug 2024 21:38:31
Tanaka will be the CM freeing up money for an attacking signing.
23 Aug 2024 14:18:24
So 7 million offered for Dejan double original price, hope he's worth it as reports look as though he may be a bit wayward or easily led, we shall see, personally I'm not sure.
1.) 23 Aug 2024 16:04:08
Move on.
2.) 23 Aug 2024 16:23:18
Agreed Bri, as per below!
3.) 23 Aug 2024 16:41:02
Haven't seen this anywhere trustworthy.
4.) 23 Aug 2024 22:53:43
No chance we offer 7m. 5m tops.

21 Apr 2025 19:29:42
We are up now let's go up as champions ????.
1.) 21 Apr 2025 20:01:02
defo Oldbri pal.
06 Apr 2025 20:04:50
I understand all the comments on teams like Luton playing above themselves fighting for survival and all that, but in the same vein shouldn't we be fighting tooth and nail for promotion and in that respect we should be performing better than we have been, that leads to the question players or manager because at the moment we aren't doing it, not laying the blame on any individual just wondering why we seem to be struggling at the moment.
1.) 06 Apr 2025 20:41:39
Not beating any of 23rd Luton Pompey, QPR etc is NOT the mark of champs
Farkey gone by May for sure.
{Ed025's Note - i hoping one person goes before him..
2.) 06 Apr 2025 21:42:47
Good post Oldbri.
3.) 06 Apr 2025 22:02:23
Bielsa lost every single game he played against the bottom team, both Championship seasons, home and away, but still was Champions.
4.) 06 Apr 2025 22:24:16
So am I Ed, its boring the bloody life out of me, Groundhog Day drivel!
5.) 07 Apr 2025 06:49:10
I think the difference is the form and reasons for the form before the pressure of chasing promotion/ fighting relegation kicks in.
For those in a relegation battle it puts more focus, impetus and effort in, which results in better results. For teams at the top, they’ve been playing well and in our case with free flowing football. When the pressure kicks in and you need to win, you need the goal, you can’t afford to misplace a pass, that pressure tenses you up and you can lose the free-flowing football that the freedom of the result not really mattering brings.
In other words when things are going well, the pressure is a destabilising factor, whilst when doing badly that destabilising is what is needed to turn things around.
6.) 07 Apr 2025 07:30:07
Financial incentives possibly play a part too, I guess? A nice one off bonus for promotion (if it’s in your contract - nice) vs potential halving of weekly salaries for being relegated (proper smash in the chops - not nice) which must be quite common these days I’d guess?
7.) 07 Apr 2025 08:28:50
Fair comments Brockley and Bright perfectly understandable reasoning.
05 Feb 2025 19:51:56
Is Schmitt injured doesn't say he is on Fotmob and he is not on bench or has he had a falling out.
1.) 05 Feb 2025 20:17:19
Out of favour, not sure he has the best attitude.
2.) 05 Feb 2025 22:15:00
I heard his attitude is a bit Schmidt and he has even been quite schmitty at times.
3.) 05 Feb 2025 22:50:23
Oh Bermo that's nearly as bad as some of my puns?.
02 Feb 2025 17:53:23
Always remember Ronnie Rosenthal of Liverpool doing the worst miss at goal I have ever seen but havertz today runs it bloody close if you ain't seen it watch it OMG.
1.) 02 Feb 2025 18:50:00
Bizarrely enough I was actually at that game at Villa park with a couple of Liverpool mates of mine.
It was a horrific miss but never thought at the time that all these years later it would be still be remembered as one of the worst, if not the worst miss ever.
Havertz does look awful though but I don’t think it will be remembered as much as Rosenthals.
2.) 02 Feb 2025 22:28:14
Oh I agree OP Ronnie's will never be forgotten.
3.) 02 Feb 2025 22:39:19
Havertz wasn't that bad. If it was, then Bamford has made bigger errors.
Rosenthal is still the biggest cock-up of them all because he had an open goal and time to take a shot.
02 Feb 2025 11:41:53
So less than 48 hours and not even a medical announcement, 49ers leave things that late that if anyone fails a medical we are screwed. Oh well we have a super squad of players just hope no one gets injured.
1.) 02 Feb 2025 14:57:23
Think we have to trust recuirtment.
It has been perfect in recent years and they are not bates trying to screw us.
It’s a hard window if the player isn’t there he isn’t there.
2.) 02 Feb 2025 15:47:07
We do probably have the best squad but the chasing pack have narrowed the gap with two more coming in at Boro, Blunts wanting a 5th/ 6th signing and Clarets active.
We've plenty of firepower going forward but worry that we might be short at the back. There are two or three with recent injury issues, particularly at FB.
3.) 02 Feb 2025 16:19:31
Berma recruitment has definitely not been ' perfect ' in recent years Behave!
4.) 02 Feb 2025 16:21:30
. and Berma you getting excited for yer "Cup Final" .
your Millwall lads up against Super Leeds at ER in F A Cup very soon.
5.) 02 Feb 2025 17:16:15
Good point, Bermo.
This recruitment team has brought in Rothwell, Bogle, Tanaka, Solomon and ramazani (did I miss anyone? )
All of those are starting 11 quality.
6.) 02 Feb 2025 17:31:10
Baz you know you have to stop when the barrel of the gun starts to leave an indent on your skull?
I would say recuritment has been perfect or very near it.
We’ve lost 120 million pound if players… no team walks away from that
Yet Amps, gruv, Largie, Pirol, rothewell, tanaka Nigel and solomon means dispite all this we are having best season in decades
It’s so good that even the self appointed orical that you are just sooner or later stop showing yourself in the head for fear of looking stupid.
So stop trying to deflect and rule me about leeds showing your lack of class and remove yet another egg you have just put on your face.
7.) 02 Feb 2025 17:34:58
Couldn’t agree more, recruitment is really on top of it’s game. You have to feel very confident with them and if they don’t find anything in this window, i'm sure it’s because there’s nothing worth having out there as opposed to not wanting to cough up the money.
8.) 02 Feb 2025 17:54:31
Very good posts Berm.
9.) 02 Feb 2025 17:59:29
Berma if we finish 1st this season it be our joint 2nd best season woth 2019/ 20 Champo Championes
2020/ 21 9th in EPL far betters it still.
10.) 02 Feb 2025 18:18:40
Firstly I never said the recruitment was poor my comment if you read it states about late recruitment and potentially not getting anyone.
Now over this year all and sundry, myself included, have moaned and groaned about shortage of players, Piroe this Mes that etc etc. No all of a sudden they are all great on the back of an extraordinary performance. I agree that a lot of the players recruited are the first names on the sheet but who else is there for goodness sake and do t forget Schmidt no game time, Spence no game time and look at him now, so yes we have recruited some good players but perfect is stretching it a bit far.
11.) 02 Feb 2025 18:35:04
No baz
Yet again you lack logic, context and reason
When bubs got us promoted he lost no players, had a stable squad and didn’t a fortune for the leauge
Farke has had no stability, players wanting out and sold more players in value than rest of the leauge put together
That season don’t even come close… plus I think despite farke having a harder hand we have scored more conceded less and have more points
Yet more more order of egg for the face?
12.) 02 Feb 2025 18:58:40
Old bri when you goning to be happy?
And no they are not all of a sudden great after the back of one super game, only an idiot would think that
But to not think they are good enough when too after jan would be even more idiotic. To moan about anything so far this season is negative to the point of why bother.
13.) 02 Feb 2025 19:04:02
Why the need to compare? Bielsa winning promotion was one the best and most enjoyable things that ever happened in my Leeds life. Hopefully Farke can do the same even if the football not quite as entertaining.
Cmon Leeds!
14.) 02 Feb 2025 19:04:06
Well said OB
Nah Berma nuff said.
15.) 02 Feb 2025 19:08:21
And Berma seeing as you seem to have eggs on the brain . any chance of making yerself useful and rustling up a spanish omelette
. muchos gracias.
16.) 02 Feb 2025 19:13:53
Cork I agree
No need to compare but when baz brings it up he needs to be reminded of facts and stats etc
Going up was great and prue joy… but as an achievement in football it can’t be compared and baz is a fool for trying
Farke is doing an amazing job let’s enjoy it.
17.) 02 Feb 2025 20:07:47
Bermo, Farke has achieved nothing yet.
18.) 02 Feb 2025 20:37:58
Niether had Belisa at this point but he was given love, yet farke is given doubt despite two promotions? Why I wonder it makes no sense
Everyone in this leauge knows we have the best gaffer apart from pockets of leeds fans? It’s odd
He came close than bubs did in first season, he is doing better so far in second despite having been dealt a far weaker hand.
Yet bubs got love and devotion from day one a love that never died despite so many clear failings
Farke has so far shown none of these failings and has track record yet leeds still question even when rest of leauge know the answer
It’s beyound odd in my book makes zero sense.
19.) 02 Feb 2025 20:39:00
Just one thing Berm at no point did I moan about our position or anything this season, all I was trying to point out is that failure to sign players to cover our shortage in certain positions is folly, and again as I said earlier if we lose say Piroe or MJ through injury we will feel the affects. We have loaned or sold most of our limited cover and I am concerned.
You may call that moaning I don't but we are all entitled to our own opinion.
I do believe with all my heart we have enough to ensure promotion this year but I would still like someone to fall back on if the unthinkable happens.
20.) 02 Feb 2025 21:10:30
OB, I understand what you mean now; while we have a great squad, what's our plan B if we get hit with injuries?
I think plan is hope that it turns out as well as it did in Midfield.
I think we will sign a few players on the sly tomorrow; a CF, RB and some flavour of defender.
21.) 02 Feb 2025 21:34:44
Ob if my aunty had a penis she’d be my uncle
Of course you could well be right however you could equally be wrong look at the obsitcles we have
1. Who wants to sign as back up?
2. Do we want to sign for half a season if they ain’t good enough for prem?
3. Can we afford a prem quailty player right now
4. If player is good enough for leeds maybe selling club won’t let go
Yes not signing a player is a risk but so is siging a player
So rather than worry about hyprtheicals let’s just enjoy the season and trust that the experts who know more about the situation than us will do the right thing.
In farke and the 49ners I trust
I’m negative vibes and/ or moaners I don’t
Most pros don’t like this widow… for a vaild reason.
22.) 02 Feb 2025 21:39:16
Another point,
Yes not siging a striker is a risk however
If we do he must be better than Jospeh or no point. No one will sign as 3rd choice… so we sign someone to go ahead of joshep … what does that say to Joseph. He’d probably my want to go out on loan, I would rather than be 3rd choice so numbers ain’t better jist changing.
23.) 02 Feb 2025 22:41:22
My first reply to being called a moaner has not been shown for some reason it seems some are allowed to speak ill of people but some are not allowed to reply. So I shall try again.
I am neither an idiotic moaner nor am I stupid and I object to the tone of your earlier posts.
All I did was state my opinion on failing to cover certain positions, you are correct in your last post regarding who would come as 3rd choice but should we therefore just accept MJ and Piroe as our saviours or try to buy someone better, if buying another player to benefit the team is wrong then I really don't see the point in trying to improve our team,
24.) 02 Feb 2025 23:18:25
I don’t really think it matters how Joseph feels. He must realise his chances have not been taken. He deserves to be 3rd choice tbh.
I know we are a tight nit squad but stop with the upsetting the apple cart. If they are not performing. They don’t deserve a start or sub appearance.
So gamble we have they have it seems.
Time will tell.
25.) 03 Feb 2025 08:35:49
Agree with Oldbri and Aus.
Tight knit squad is good but there are still plenty of games and maybe more in the Cup and injuries and suspensions can happen. Pascal's injury in the second half of last season didn't help.
Don't look at a seat warmer- get someone who's good enough to start which makes the others keen and gives the option of rotating.
26.) 03 Feb 2025 09:21:47
Old bri you say you didn’t moan but then said it was folly… that’s a moan mate?
You’re entitled to your opinion and to moan but I’m entitled to see the other side of arguement
Your reply was … to react after one game…. To which my reply was to not react after this point in the season… I Stand by that… both just see it different ways but you can’t be offended by my post as it wasn’t rude it was my logic and opinion
It seems some are happy to voice there opinion but when others reply there’s it’s taken out of context or seen as offensive?
And aus sorry mate you said Joseph’s feelings don’t really matter… of course they do, never wise to upset a squad look what happened to leeds after the o Leary book, different circumstances but same effect
Happy squad is a good squad… do we want to risk that for a second choice striker? Maybe but then maybe not?
16 Apr 2025 14:52:50
?????.
11 Apr 2025 18:47:26
Now why does that not surprise me.
09 Apr 2025 13:54:27
Yes he is and still only young what was it 4.5 million we let him go for can't get a ball boy for that.
16 Mar 2025 08:40:49
Agree Aus about Kal but 8 new players you been drinking pal ?.
28 Feb 2025 13:22:58
25 and we could have got Johansson for a million crazy.
24 Apr 2025 16:32:20
Oh very nice Chris Chris fancy bringing up click bait all summer ?️ ?, I stopped reading it last year no way am I reading all the shite that will be on the net now we have been promoted, it will be endless.
24 Apr 2025 15:35:58
Good post Alf.
24 Apr 2025 15:34:50
Same word no detest Mr Mourinho.
24 Apr 2025 12:11:23
Excellent post.
22 Apr 2025 14:58:52
I have had my grumbles about DF over the past 2 years but credit where credit is due he has done an overall amazing job with everything that has been thrown his way and acted with dignity throughout, hats off to him and I really hope he shows his metal in the premiership as his time with Norwich he had no money so no chance. As with all promoted teams it will be a struggle but please everyone give him the time to prove himself, managers today don't get given time as we all want instant results, let's not go calling for his head if we lose a few.
Good luck Mr Farke you and everyone at the club will need it and to be honest deserve the rub of the green, and you never know with VAR we may get a decision or two go out way.
