I've just seen that Redders has got Mowatt and Cook to stay at Thorpe Arch over the international break.

I think this represents exactly what redders is all about, having the confidence and respect of the players to tell them, and for them to listen, that they are not joining up with the international teams to benifit themselves.

The intelligence to be able to understand what these young lads need, and how they will develop them the best

And finally the respect of other coaches out there, even at international level, where there is none of this PR debate about players not playing for there countries etc, and the relationships between club managers and international coaches (Rodgers Hodgson)

It may only be Under 18's and Under 20's but even so. I think it is a well thought out decision, and full respect to redders for having the balls to pull them from the teams without injuries etc.

Top work Redders

Well, Eventful transfer window, and something i'm optimistic about. I'm seeing negativity on Twitter today about this, that and the other, and I understand where its coming from. 12 years of being shafted, and I constantly feel optimistic at a start of a season and let down. Which obviously people turn into anger

however, looking at the ins and outs, nobody has been sold to a team who you would think has a promotion chance. Fulham, may think they were favourites, but whatever Magath is doing isn't working. So in my eyes, you can see the issues we were having, no body was getting better, or was not upto the standard. So MC buying players with an average age of 23, and players who have a lot of potential (Adryan) surely cannot be a bad thing?

Let this season take shape, get a manager in, and let's start enjoying our FOOTBALL team, not a hoofball team.

1.) Finally, someone talking sense!

(Doomed, doomed, we're all doomed Mr Mannering)

2.) Not sure that is correct mattmiles1991!
Both Forest, Derby and Middlesboro managers recently said how surprised they have been by improvement in Owls performances this year and expect them to be thereabouts come April. The quality of football has even shocked us fans.
You've perhaps not noticed the excellent reports on Tom Lees, who, paired alongside the experienced Glen Loovens, has been outstanding so far.
On this showing, he went for a song!

3.) Sleaford
2 games EXCELLENT ehh!

4.) Been on holiday Andy Mot?
I've seen 7 so far, and still counting!

5.) Tom Lees 7 games sleaford?

6.) Sleaford owl. Is your first name Connor?

MM

7.) Yep, Andy MOT
3 at home
2 away
and 2 in the League Cup
Need help adding this up?

8.) Sleaford.
Talking to my mate from Rotherham whos a windy fan and he says Lees was ok, not good NOT and DEFO not excellent just ok. I thought i'd do a bit of research into your comments,
and hit the Sheff wed website, Weds v Forest Tom Lees played 99 mins 2 tackles and 8 clearances in the whole match EXCELLENT ummmmm. Ahh let's give Sleaford the benefit of the doubt, so I visit ssncentre who give you a min by min report on the match, YES min by min (feel free to take a look) Weds v Forest 99 mins Tom Lees got mentioned how many times?
Wait for it NIL, ZILCH, ZERO, NOT ONCE, I know my adding up isn't the best but take a look for yourself NIL MEANS NIL!

AS JIM WOULD SAY EXCELLENT MY A**E ;)

WOW. Edoardo on twitter giving everyone answers! At last, somebody in the know, telling the fans what is happening, makes a nice change. just hopes it for real!

Fan interaction is what its all about, however like he says, Matteo, Gray, Lorimer are getting paid, and that money in a championship club should be invested elsewhere. They should be doing it for free really, if they LOVE the club, a directors box and a free lunch is all they should get in all honesty.

Hoping everyone supports them and doesn't start getting riled up about them sacking a few ole boys, we remember them for all they did, but we need to invest and the Cellinos know what there doing.

Everyone together and all that

Hello all,

After reading the newspaper waiting to get my beautiful hair chopped off, I had read a bit about what Sean Dyche has to say on his promotion. Last season he finished 11th, and was close to the sack, and the board came out and supported him and said he is the man, and he said this foundation gave him the confidence to build a team worthy of challenging, with that confidence behind him, he was able to show what he really could do.

Relate this to McD, I understand why so many people are angry and frustrated, as am i, watching that garbage on tv the other day was slow, boring and hoofball that no one wants to see, but surely some stability, and a team around him he can do the job. just a thought from what Burnley's premier league manager had to say. I personally don't want the reveloving door to speed up, rather have McD given a season to prove himself with stability, an owner with the ambition and drive like MC and see what happens! Anyway, probably get a slagging for this!

Cheers guys

Matt

1.) I agree that the manager revolving door is unhealthy for any club, but having witnessed at first hand some of the worst football at Elland Road ever, throw in the 9 home defeats, ever changing formations, thrashings, some dire excuses after the defeats, I'm ready for the door to spin.

2.) I read the same and have also been bombarded with all the coverage on Moyes' situation. At first I was as eager as anyone to see McDermott go due to all the reasons stated above, as well as playing almost everyone out of position. After reading everything lately I've had a change of heart.

Reading fans still hold McDermott in high regard (higher than Adkins I believe) and there is definitely a reason for that. He had 3 seasons of good performances from Reading in the championship and did as well as could be reasonably expected in the Prem with the team he had. I don't think he's a bad manager I just think this season has broken him a bit, which is why I think he's opted for some strange choices since Christmas. I'd like him to recuperate, shift some deadwood, get some new players in (which I assume he'll have practically no say in, so we're safe from any more Hunt types) and give him until Christmas to see where we stand.

3.) Don't forget folks we've just got a new manager his name s Massimo celino!!
He's come out and said this is is club and e is the manager I couldn't give a flying pig who the coaches are. hopefully someone who knows how to arrange a team or a start

I don't want to lose him, and as soon as he takes that job. its a situation where if it doesn't work out, our academy has lost one of the best coaches its had, and Leeds lose another legend

Isnt it nice to actually be talking about youth and there development. i'm fed up of all the negativity and "questions" about Cellino, I think there are pros and cons to him, but one thing I've enjoyed so far is the pretty much guaranteed use of youth players.

Everyone having this debate is refreshing, and instead of worryin about buying players, were talking about the use of youth!

I for one am enjoying it.

Don't understand ANY of the criticism, can someone please come forward who would prefer us to still be under GFH control and in administration.
