Absolutely delighted for TC. Good win and performance. Many times last season we nicked close matches under Monk but this campaign the tight games have gone against us. We could easily of won a couple of more games if no little luck. Maybe, hopefully shut up certain negative so called Leeds "fans".

Leeds set to snap up youngster Ryan Edmondson of York City for the development squad. He plays striker.

2 goals in 7 in lower leagues? Really?

Corky for following reasons. 1. We could do with another forward and goals. 2. We can't get anyone in to do that for another 8 weeks more or less. 3. Yes he's young, inexperienced and not doing great lower league but only in my opinion striker is a position where you can do better with better players around you unlike other positions. There's more to it than sticking ball in onion bag but he is meant to be highly rated. 4. I've seen him play and he has something about him which I like. 5. For position and predicament we are in I would enjoy see him get half hour when opposition tiring and he might just make a difference.

The same could be said of Lewie Coyle; MOTM six times of the bounce. Personally, I'd leave both where they are to continue their education in a much less pressured environment, then give the a good shot next pre-season.

George how bad would lassogna be in the lower leagues then!

13 Nov 2017 21:03:27
The issue isn't the lower leagues but the quality of service against quality of opposition defense. Lassoga would probably do very well in league one but in the PL I doubt he'd score much at all. Lassoga is a good finisher but not much else. I still maintain Wilks could benefit us if used correctly.

Fair do's george. i'm all for playing youth team players, if they are good enough. Saw the lad on TV against Luton and he looked a fair bit off first team. He has potential and has been touted last couple of years but is raw and his goalscoring record s poor.

I don’t think he will come to Leeds, not while Orta is there, I think that’s when things went wrong for him at boro

I will take a win any old how - whether it is boring or exciting. As beggars for a win, any win, it really doesn't matter what style is played.

Coops had a good start to the season by his standards but think that is the best he can be . Don't think he has the physical presence/strength that's required and is not a long term option. For the next game would go 4-1-3-2 . With Shauns in front of a back 4 and Anita in the middle of a 3 with Ronnie and Philips and try Ekuban up front with Saiz . Try and keep possession better, no big hoofs up front Then if we get some control in midfield would bring on more of an attacking threat later in the game

Its not just individual mistakes costing us. Its things like back passes Defenders too far forward Non movement off the ball Failure to pass accurately to a team mate. Choosing to pass to a player that is closely marked abd under pressure. Midfielders too far up field and not in space. Midfielders passing again to a closely marked player. Midfielders choosing too many fancy one twos. Strikers being unable to impose themself on defense. strikers unable to work hard and run fast. The whole team being dragged out of position easily. Oh i almost forgot. Our goalkeepers. Nuff said. There is a very lot that needs fixing chaps. Not just form and luck.

Hell of a list you got there Aussie. Got to say, a lot of it I can't argue with. I agree, it would be easier if there were just one big, enormous, problem that everyone could concentrate on however we have just the opposite. It's like the difference between having a big rat in the kitchen or 100 mice.

Just back off holiday and watched the highlights of our last two games and I have to say we have two shocking keepers. We won’t win a thing unless we get someone decent between the sticks.

Suggest you watch all the other Lonerghan matches. He's not that bad. PS Don't bother watching prev Weidwald games - he is that bad.

Maybe TC is looking ahead and trying to protect Shaughnessy and from Shaughnessys view point maybe he is well out of it but; is it time to give the lad another go. The old adage if they're good enough they're old enough may apply. Trouble is who the heck do you pair him with?

That's the wrong attitude Martyn. Get some Dubbin on those boots. If you need to get back in shape the Age UK aquarobics class is on tues and Thursdays tho I would advise you not to wear your boots in the pool. Something about the nails in your studs scratching the tiles.
