Update on MY rumour last week.

Gazzetta Dello Sport reporting that Antenucci has agreed personal terms with LUFC and is expected to sign on wednesday for a fee that could reach â‚¬1.5 mill (euros)

Anybody know if he's any good?

Looks good on u tube, deadly round penalty box, good pace, scores with both feet could be a gem! let's hope we get him. him and billy sharp would be a handful for any defence, and it would also push hunt further down the pecking order which would be another positive MOT

Looks like a natural finisher so it would give us better options than hunt and Morrison and if it helps us score more goals then sign him up. Would it mean dakoura moving out to wing as he seems to drift wide when playing as a striker almost like wing is his preferred position.

Antenucci scored 19 goals in 40 games for Ternana in Serie B last season. Looks very quick, strong and skillful and good finisher so him with Sharp and Doukara will be a real handful. And agree with above comment, as long as it pushes Hunt and also Morison down the pecking order then its all good.

19 goals in 40 is a very good return but don't know how good Serie B is and would have preferred someone a bit younger. Could be a bargain though and as it's not my money I say go for it. Much more excited about Adryan signing. fingers crossed.

Think Hunts apperances are limited, sign Attenucci and they will be over - just need to find someone to off load him to!

He is 30 years old so for me 1.5m euro is way too much for an unproven player in the championship for me I'd try getting Delort in the boy has age on his side. MOT

We could also revert to a plan B with doukara and ajose both with pace on the wings with sharpy and smith or antenucci up front traditional 4 4 2 still feel we need a strong defensive midfielder as Austin is too reckless to hold that position be better to use Austin as an impact attacking option sub thoughts on who we could use or buy to fill that position

Delort is â‚¬2.5 million and unproven in the championship so what's the difference? Bianchi was unproven and so was dakoura at this level and both came from the second tier of Italian football and have looked as good as any player I've seen in the championship.

Not done ANY research on him and didn't realise he was 30yrs old!

Think i'd rather have a younger forward and at 30 its not MCs usual buisness plan.

M C AND N S are going for players they know and Antenucci and adyran excuse spelling are two such players .
Both are classy and I think if we get them they will add too are squad some real quality .
love to see Antenucci and sharp working up front together, think that could get us biting at a play off place.

Well Andy M C must think he has a good few yrs in him hence the three yr contact, I've had a look at him and Adryan both look really good, and better than we have had in past .
If Adryan does sign theme from Rocky?
