Latest figure I've seen for Vydra is this £13.5 million! I must admit that he's not a player I know much about, so can someone who does know more, comment as to whether that is a good investment, should it happen? Seems like a gamble on one player?

Vydra is a good player but we cannot afford to blow the majority of our budget on one player. We need to move on.

That price is too much to gamble. Ideally don't want to pay more than 10m. Abel although different type of player better value even if his wages are 2m per year.

Got to spend 400.0000 on a digger, do I think twice before buying one, maybe it’s a gamble, I may get the work to repay the cost, do I lay men off or Do I invest in my company ? to get bigger, and keep up with others out there,

Derby have submitted a bid for Peterborough striker Jack Marriott as have Bristol city who have just sold Bobby Reid to Cardiff. Derby would need to fund Marriott's purchase by selling first, so Leeds bid for Vydra might at last be accepted.
