Am I the only one slightly concerned about buying players from the Italian leagues? I can't think of many who have moved to England and been successful, Shevchenko and Veron spring to mind.

Zola, Ravanelli, Henry (played at Juventus as a winger I think), Bergkamp. that's without the help of Google. I am sure people will add more.

I would have added Robbie Keane to the list as he did come from an Italian team to Leeds but I don't think that counts!

Rather have an Italian that wants to play as opposed to a 'has been' who wants a wage! Looking forward to seeing who else come in - very interested to see who leads us onto the pitch!
