Whilst I am happy that MC is buying back ER, I am just hoping that it is not a separate deal i.e. it will be owned by the club as part of the club and not a separate entity. I have been a fan of MC from the start and think he has turned our financial situation around and invested heavily and for that I can only thank him. I can't help thinking he has his head screwed on and the purchase of ER would be a useful bargaining chip, should he ever wish to move on! Maybe I can't let go of the painful memories and it all seems too good to be true atm. I wonder if he would consider selling off shares of the ground to the fans - he can re invest in the club and we get a bit of security - thoughts please!

As he has stated that he is using the money from the sale of RMC, the ground will belong to the football club not MC . He is a very shrewd business man and if in the future he does decide to sell then he will get a premium on as he is selling a club that owns it's own ground .

Fairly certain the club will own the ground. Its not as if Cellino needs to hide the asset. He isn't cuddly ken or gfh. He also recognizes it will improve market value of club as a whole. Promised land here we come.

It's academic really. As MC owns the football club he owns everything that goes with it. All the buy-back means is that the stadium is owned by the same person who owns the team (MC), and not some faceless company somewhere in the Caribean.

Not if he bought it under a different company name! Maybe I am just in shock with all the positive stuff - just waiting to wake up from the dream😉

Think the agreement in place would only allow Leeds United to buy back the stadium but it is technically possible the ground could then be sold on to a third party once back in control of the club.
