We are lead to believe that Adryan and Dawson might not be physical enough to stand up to games in the Championship? Imo the rules of the game which are now in force which protects skilful ball players getting lumped from pillow to post by the now exctinct hatchet men, or some would argue from being tackled altogether, then I don't think there as ever been a better time to introduce them! Plus the fact the majority of pitches are like bowling greens which allows them to carry out passing skills!! I say let's blood them asap!!

Maybe just not ready or not good enough!!
Redders didn't play any of them?

Watch the under 21's match on Monday against Colchester on LUTV and then form an opinion

3.) 15 Oct 2014
Surely Adryan was left out of this week's under 21's because Darko plans to use him on Friday night?

Agree with Speedy, that's the obvious logic. He might just start the game. Adryan has stated about going back and the fans are harping on to see him so I think Milanic is forced into fielding him.

would have them both in team but who do you leave out, abundance of midfield talent at the moment just finding the right four to feed forwards

6.) 15 Oct 2014
It's a real dilemma for Darko. I would have them both probably as well, but I wouldn't want to leave Caspar or Cook out. We are all chomping at the bit to see Adryan given his chance - and I think he will play at least a half on Friday, but if he doesn't create a great first impression, he's going to have his critics. But there's one thing for sure - he will be desperate to play and do his best

Like I told you 9 days ago he will play some part in the first team in the next 2 games if he does not get injured in the meantime ;)

Darko has had a couple of weeks to try various midfield shapes & personnel. We are finally in the exciting position of having enough talent to field two different midfields & two different centre forward duo's all of which I'd be happy to see play & confident of getting a result dependant on whether we're home or away.
Dawson & Adryan played well together so it's not a case of one or t'other as they would make a great impact together with 30mins to go until bedded in enough to start. We can't keep overlooking Dawson even for Adryan as they offer different things. Dawson is really past the U21 level now imo & has earned his place at least on the bench. Adryan needs his chance & MC is going to make sure he gets it now.
As for who plays along side either of them, I suggest we start with Bianchi, Austin, Mowatt, Sloth & bring the ladsoff the bench once Rudy has softened them up in mf. let's win the midfield battle first to allow our gifted lads to show their best. Up front for me Antenucci is def starter & I'd be happy whoever is alongside him. Sharp, Douk, Morisson could all help him score & Vise versa.
Lets make others worry about us & our game changing bench but win the midfield battle first & earn the right to play. MOT

Good post Slough
It is an exciting time, and sometime soon (maybe not Friday), when it all clicks at once, we will bang in a bucket load

It is exciting times. It is good to have the feeling we are going to score every time we attack and not have that here we go sinking feeling everytime opponents attack. We are looking reasonably good all over the field, a couple tweeks and a good bench to choose from. i'm actually expecting playoffs at the moment and think we are going to get better. We will obviously lose a few but it is so nice expecting to win every game rather than how many we will concede.

Yes Ausman. For the first time in many a year we now have a team that is capable of winning any game if they play at their best. Of course, it's still a transition season and they won't always do that, but the prospects are very very positive

Slough/speedy/ausman

What a difference 5 months make ;)
