Well regardless if you are pro or anti SE, I think he has every justification in thinking he deserves a chance next season. He also ticks a box that MC will like in that he doesn't think we need to spend a fortune on new players. Personally I think MC will want a change, but he may just decide to sell Lewis Cook and allow SE to spend the proceeds.

I'm in the pro big steve camp. He's almost performed a miracle this season, bought in some quality players and, on occasions, got us playing some wonderful free flowing footie and working as a unit, not individuals.
Like all managers, he talks carp on a regular basis. I believe that he's only trying to keep team morale up by keeping them motivated. All managers especially after a loss look for positives when talking to the media. Wenger and Fergie being the worst culprits for this. I hoping behind closed doors big steve has a go at the team.
Keep big steve on for another year at least and I predict a few more of his signings we'll see top 6 next season then MC won't have to refund the ST holders.

Speedy and Lucas
SE has turned it around. He's a much better manager when gob is shut. I think the players would like to see him again next season and the stability that would bring. If Cellino wasn't such a loony tune he'd be entering into contract talks with Fatty around about now.

Agree keep him he is doing a ok job probably the best manager we have had for a while, if you listnen to his radio interviews seems to be trying to get our support hope MC gives him a go and give him some money to strenghten the squad.

I think Big Stevie E is a good manager. When he first came in his passion and enthusiasm were admirable and a breath of fresh air. The only thing that's let him down in my opinion is his desire for a new contract has taken over and he's started spouting off rubbish about players not performing etc to feather his own nest.

He's let himself down a bit BUT, he is probably the best manager we've had for a long time and with Cellino as chairman, you can't blame the guy for being a bit paranoid. Give the guy the contract he deserves and a fair crack at the job.

If he's allowed to leave, it will certainly be our loss and another championship club's gain in my opinion.

Anyway I'm off out to spend last night's winnings. Old Rosie is calling me from 'spoons.

MM.

i loved him before he signed, was well happy when he signed then went right off him due to poor results and performances and he kept making the same mistakes (again why change a winning team for huddlesfield game a real gripe of mine, why play cook and mowatt on wings, why play ant and wood with no support) however things have turned round again.

I do think he is good but would hope for better in perfect world, he seems to of learnt from mistakes so let's see how final three games go. if we keep him it will certainly not be a bad move he has been best since larry.
