You asked in an earlier thread what we doing wrong. Here are the answers

1. Playing Cooper
2. Not playing Pontus
3. An inability to defend corners been that way for a decade
4. Time needed to gel
5. Trying not to sound like Monk but it's all about goals and our goal threat is still a little light.
6. Hernandez is better than Mowatt but not on the left side of midfield. Hernandez can only be played in a 4231. If this means he doesn't play very often so be it.

Oh and btw I'm not liking Green. Put Silver V back in.

Please acquire 1 more striker
Love
George.

I would put Peacock Farrell in. He will make mistakes, yes, but at least he will be on a learning curve and improve.

Good points George and your opinion on Turnbull if he's not going to get a look in why don't we let him go on loan.

Pretty accurate summary George.

Some good points there G. i'd give Turnbull a go. I'm sorry I've seen Silvestri play now two seasons with no improvement. Good shot stopper, but below average with the rest of his game.

Yeah pretty spot on George, although we have to play hernandez . If we play a 442 he'll have to play as a striker, would be more like 4411.

Playing silvestri won't help the 'defending from a corner' problem. He can't control his box.

Who you going to drop for Hernandez?

Can't be Ant. He's done well and it's clear he know where onion bag is.

Wood? Ok no arguments from me in terms of goals but who is going to hold the ball up?

I stand by what I said. Hernandez can only slot in a 4231.

You right about Silver but Green appears to have lost it including command of box. You get same thing with Silver admittedly but the bonus is a better shot stopper and he's young enough he might just learn one day whereas Green is probably in his final year as a player. Therefore nothing really to lose.

The way I see it is hernandez is a much better footballer than wood . Wood doesn't hold the ball up anyway from what I've seen, he has a touch as far as I can kick it . We would be a lot more solid this way too . Hernandez could drop deep and pick up the ball on the half turn and play in either ant or sacko and roofe coming in from wide positions .

You right but that would be an entirely different style of play.
