I could well be in the minority but i'm not unhappy with this so far. 5 points from 9 could be better but TC is still finding his feet and his best formation. We are unbeaten even though it's 4 points dropped. I would personally not be picking Hernandez, he can be brilliant but too inconsistent. I would put Anita in midfield for Phillips. 2 clean sheets on the trot is excellent despite the enforced changes in defense and while we are not playing particularly well every point is a positive. To get out of this division you need the 3 c's, consistency, consistency and consistency. Clean sheets is a good place to start.

Isnt that 4 cs?

2.) 16 Aug 2017 13:23:04

3.) 16 Aug 2017 19:42:18
Technically it could be 6 but then it could also be 7

How is it that Phil Hay has been given Stam's name from the alleged list of 4 but no others? and if the club have been interviewing all week how can Stam be a contender as we can't interview him without Reading's permission and he is on holiday anyway. The names we have heard so far have only come from the bookies and media spin doctors.

I don't believe JFH is on the list although i do think he will have applied. For the moment i am sticking with the theory that Radz is very astute and is seriously looking to move the club forward (which rules out JFH and most of the names speculated on) I hope we are looking at the level of Flores, i definitely think foreign as we seem to be going with the continental style of football director and head coach.

Victor Sanchez has now been mentioned, he has coached Deportivo, Olympiakos, Real Betis. I can see this with the influence of Orta and a Spanish coach may be more likely to get on with Pep. Also i feel the longer this goes on the more likely it will be someone we were never expecting.

If it's true Radz was interested in Wagner it suggests he will be targeting proven managers in the Championship and luring them to ER rather than their current clubs. That would work with the Stam runout also. Who else? The Wendies manager maybe?

2.) 12 Jun 2017 09:08:21
Scoops jfh is not even been considered according to rads it's all speculation, what will be will be so chill my friend and have faith and stop listening to the garbage.

3.) 12 Jun 2017 19:01:48
Flores and Pep, dream team, yes please!!

4.) 12 Jun 2017 19:04:14
If you take notice of Phil Hay you might as well read the S*n!

5.) 13 Jun 2017 21:05:31
I'd be very happy with Flores and Pep, until they lose a game lol.

So the crazy rumour mil has already started. Alan Nixon claiming that Monk will be let go and a lot of Spaniards coming in. My personal view on Monk is that he has done a fantastic job in achieving our highest position in years but he is certainly not flawless. He has been a bit over cautious at times and maybe stubborn in his beliefs however you have to be single minded in his job and stand or fall by your decisions.

He is still very young as a manager but has some very good characteristics. He has brought the squad together and they have over achieved but it wouldn't take much to improve it now we have a solid base.

If we are taking a long term view in building for the future then he is the man but if we are aiming for a quick fix then maybe he isn't. He was the best appointment of the Cellino era and was given the specific task of play offs, he didn't achieve this in the end, possibly because of a lack of investment in January although Barrow and Pedraza will not have been cheap.

The general opinion on social media this morning is that a lot of fans will leave the club if Monk leaves but this will not be my reaction, no man is bigger than Leeds United and no decision by the owner will ever change my allegiance.

To sum up, there are decisions to be made, from the little i know of him so far, i think Radrizani will take a different stance to Cellino. I do not see him diving in, i think he will make a balanced decision that fits with his plans for the club.

All we can do is hope it is the right decision. The fact that the contract situation has not been sorted just allows the rumour mongers to go wild and to us it seems crazy to leave it until June however Radrizani may have bigger decisions to make at the moment if he is trying to finalise his purchase of the other 50%.

I have a feeling we will start next season stronger as a team and as a club regardless of the frontline personnel.

No fans will leave the club if Monk leaves - fans are here to stay, we transcend any manager and any player. We are LEEDS!

2.) 30 Apr 2017 20:35:50
Why would fans leave?

3.) 01 May 2017 07:09:04
I think rad has had time to have a good look at what he is buying before he buys it. He must have a 1-3-5 yr plan. He will also know whst needs changing and who needs keeping and letting go. Mc saved us and has worked miracles and thank you mate! Monk was his best app and a decent manager. In my opinion, not quite good enough to get us up. I believe rad will do what he needs to, to get up in 3 years at the latest! I expect him to be more patient with his choice of the next manager and maybe give them the three years. I also expect him to invest $10-20 mill in the squad but he will also prob sell three of our value players to further fund for players.

According to Phil Hay, Byram has rejected a one year contract on the same money! So we don't want to keep him then? Obviously not, he should be offered at least four years. If this is true it is an insult and another indication that we are heading nowhere but back to league one.

Never seems to be any good news coming out of elland road these days. I agree Sam should have a team built around him! We have sam, charlie taylor, mowatt, cook who need a father figure to blossom, we need another vinnie jones or gordon strachan to take this by the scruff! MC is the blocker who I wish would go back to where he came from!

2.) 05 Dec 2015 22:09:58
Build the team around Taylor and cook Sam can go on his way obviously thinks he's better than he is.

3.) 05 Dec 2015 23:18:04
Nonsense talk Wex.

4.) 06 Dec 2015 12:15:49
It's very easy for byrams agent to leak stories to press saying we are not doing enough to keep him Evans says he was made good financial offer and it's not about money face facts byram wants to go.

5.) 06 Dec 2015 15:50:59
Best thing to do here is to capitalise on Byram. Then get Bridcutt on a permanent in jan with the proceeds. We have good cover in that position anyway, he doesn't want to be here. Hopefully get Lafferty in on loan for rest of season would be ideal.

6.) 06 Dec 2015 16:29:25
Don't know why cork says nonsense you can't give every player what they want he wants a premiership contract when we are a championship team maybe you should bring back ridsdale to negotiate for us.

7.) 06 Dec 2015 23:26:06
The kid's on £12,000 a WEEK! takes him a fortnight to earn what I get in a year. Let the kid go and see if the grass really is greener elsewhere.

{Ed033's Note - AL, All you would need to do is work 25 more jobs or overtime paying £24,000 per anum and you'd be on 12K per week. :)

8.) 07 Dec 2015 21:10:07
Well said Al, that's the same as me. It makes me laugh when fans say he's on peanuts, maybe these players should live in the world.

9.) 08 Dec 2015 10:06:59
I personally would let him go, out of all our young kids (mowat, cook, Taylor, coyle) I thing byram is the weakest out of them all and we still have a solid versatile left/right back in beradi.
Just my opinion.

Would we swap Dallas for Oliveira? my opinion would be no, offer Dallas a new contract and sign Oliveira as well.

scoops

Dallas in form of his life. No deal.

2.) 28 Aug 2017 09:26:46
It might be the only way we could sign Oliviera if they are genuinely after him. Would rather have both or turn our attention to another striker.

3.) 28 Aug 2017 11:14:57
I would like to see Dallas, Saiz, alli and roofe next game . leave Ph to bench

Whats to panic about? we have 9 goals in three games without Wood. Do we really need a big target man? we are playing better, the goals are more spread out. Ekuban, Grot look useful, Roofe is scoring and what's to stop us confusing everyone and playing a false 9? we have so many options now we don't need to rely on one dimensional football. The Swedish guy may not have a prolific record but that doesn't mean he can't do a job. Roofe could get 15, Saiz 10 to 15, Alioski 10 and Grot and Ekuban a few each. At this point i'm really not concerned about not having a Chris Wood double

I would love to get Ross back and keep Wood as well. The club is the most important not the past. If we can get Ross on form we would have a serious chance.

I felt Wood was over priced at 3m when we signed him and i was concerned about his injury record. He has done well and improved at Leeds but he will only succeed in the prem if the team he goes to play to his strengths. I'm not convinced he will make the step above a Burnley/Brighton. If we can get £22m or even close, we just can't say no.

I wouldn't blame TC for Sacko, i don't think he had much of a say in that. what is good is that he quickly identified Sacko is struggling and took him out of the limelight. I still think he will improve in time and the additional quality we now have will give him that time.

How about Jordan Hugill as an option. Powerful target man. 13 goals last season, 3 already this season. Probably not too expensive and only 25
