So Sutton beat Wimbledon, we have a good chance now of progressing to last 16 in cup (potential banana skin though) worry is we do not want any distractions from our league form and progress. Especially if we do progress and get a glamour tie - any one else concerned?

No concern, still some other lower league teams in the cup, it's great news for us! Wigan won it a few years back, so can we.

No concern, a good cup run can help maintain confidence and momentum. It also gives Monk chance to give squad players match time which could be vital for our league campaign

Agree with notts more we win more game time improves squad and confidence. Anyway we should beat teams like sutton whatever. Good cup run always helps everyone.

I really want a cup run and would love to see us at Wembley again. I don't get why some fans would want to lose, it would be embarrassing and could have a negative effect on the club and players, just like Cardiff, Histon and Rochdale all did.
