why is it that Steve Parish at Crystal Palace can sack a manager of De Boer's quality after only 4 games and then complemented by so called experts, when MC was called a mad man and ridiculed for sacking bad managers after six games! I get it's in The Premiership and I know Palace have a group of owners but it's no excuse, it's the same old same old, if Leeds do it we are a mess of a club anyone else happy days! Idiots. For all Palace fans I feel so sorry for you but at least watching Palace will be like watching England soon with Woy Hodgson! Oh dear! It's so good to be a Leeds fan. MOT

Correct mike. It's one rule for other clubs and one rule for Leeds. Same old same old. And how right was MC to do what he had too. 👍😂⚽️⚽️

Cheers Batty, it really does do my head in, Saiz gets paperized because someone said he spat, no proof but he gets it it full on, with some saying he should be banned for six games! but when nothing comes of it where's the apologies? How about when Wood wanted to leave, the press were saying he has every right as he was never appreciated at Leeds by the club or the fans! any other footballer and they would be called worse than crap! We never get the accolade we deserve and always get what we don't deserve! MOT

An act of lunacy by the Palace board. They deserve to go down because of it. Hodgson is without doubt one of the most irritating coaches.

I like MC Mike but in fairness, the managers (other than BMD) were ones he appointed in the first place. I'm not saying he didn't do the right thing but if a bit more thought had gone into the appointments initially then there might not have been as many sackings. None did a particularly outstanding job but none came with great records either. I think the point is that they never really had a chance to start off with. Frank De Boer is overrated in my opinion and I wasn't surprised that he's gone. The appointed someone who they thought was a great manager but the Premier League has figured him out (or the other way, he hasn't figured it out) and they've felt they needed to act.

Totally agree Matt and obviously the main objective of any club in The Prem us to stay there at whatever the cost so I do appreciate it and in some ways it's good to see another English manager in there. MC was a madman but he did us proud in the end and some of his player signings were as dubious as his managerial appointments that is for sure, I'm just fed up with the press and certain pundits, Leeds United played fantasy football on Saturday but the hardline is "still life without Wood"! I mean why not right about my life? My God it's been six years without Wood for me and especially my lass! Lol. Good post Matt. MOT

Agreed Woody! I've kinda got used to media criticism now but it's a shame they can't appreciate good work (by the team or the chairman) when it's on show for everyone to see!

We used to be a journalists wet dream. It must stick in their throats that we are showing progression on and off the field.

You know what Dogwise and NottsWhite I think you're both spot on, it really does stick in their throats when we do well, they were on us like flies on crap when MC was with us, any little thing and it's in the papers, even now they are still banging on about Monk and why he left, it's now because Radz is not interested in bringing young English lads on through the academy! I just want TC to get the recognition he deserves and Radz to get the success he deserves! We are the only unbeaten team in the EFL, that includes the Carabeo Cup, this is our best start ever in the second tier, and we had 33 thousand plus at Elland Road on Saturday, we played outstandingly brilliant and we get one player in the team of the weekend! Need I say more! MOT and proud to be Leeds!
