I just want to say as a committed lurker, don't read too much into that, thank you to all the eds and regulars for making this site a joy to browse each day. Happy new year and let's hope the good times continue in 2017.

Ok, so after taking a university induced hiatus from this site (lurking notwithstanding) I can now make my eagerly awaited return, though I find that I have nothing controversial enough to say, which lessens the event for me. Unfortunately I missed the Redfearn revival and Milanic's appointment, but I have to say, after first being underwhelmed by the results since Milanic replaced Redfearn, it does look as if it's coming together. A bit concerned that some of the players such as Benedecic, Adryan and Montenegro are absent from the side, but I honestly think we have a lot of skilled players who will grow into a formidable team providing we can keep hold of them all for the full season. Antennucci looks like he could be our main man up front, he gets some stick for straying off-side a lot, but I think that's par for the course if you play his particular style. All in all, I'm happy to see the team coming together first under Redfearn and now Milanic. We're a long way away from the dross we saw under Leeds United's own he-who-must-not-be-named.
Also it looks like Bermonsey and Speedy are developing an almost Survivor Jeff/Mad Mick relationship, which is nice :)
1.) Don't be bashful Mr Happy. If you want a 3 some just say :)

4.) Yeah right we have, going to win a small clock (i said clock) and see the silver fox himself. That said I like Speedo but we are not exclusive i'm anyones for a cold pie and warm beer, even Daivd Hockaday is in with a chance. ok I wouldn't go that far

Del Fabro apparently signed pending clearance. Could this mean Wootton is on his way? We can hope.

3 points, a clean sheet, all 11 player still on the pitch by full-time and a midfield completely devoid of the three stooges (alright injury and suspensions did this, but still nice to see). Anybody at the game tell us what the midfield were like? The stats don't make for nice reading, but still better than any Hockaday match.
1.) Midfield was excellent, especially in the first half. Cook was awesome throughout and Mowatt likewise for the first 70. Sloth and Bianchi were both solid and passed the ball well.
2.) One stat that mattered 1-0 leeds. might take a while but going the right way. said all along the hock holding back. we might lose next week but still going right way. rome wasnt built in a day by it was built by the right people
3.) Another thing to remember is that these midfielders (bianchi excluded) haven't had much first team football so not suprised they weren't ready for a full 90 but it was very promising.

Agree 100%, just look at the problems Bradford caused us last night with full backs getting quality balls in the box. We'll never get the best out of our strikers unless they have something to attack because we're not good enough to play through teams. Stuart Taylor man of the match says it all. Sorry chaps rant over just cheesed off but Leeds forever MOT

Fans have linked us with Le Fondre, nothing else. There is no real proof that the club has even considered buying him. There is no reason to suspect that he would ever join us (he is much more likely to stay in the premiership) and, finally, there is no proof whatsoever that we have even half the money it would take to make the deal happen. So just bl**dy stop it won't you?
Scratch the above comment, just read he's pulled out. Still don't see him coming our way though.
Can't see it myself. He'll go and get a last payday before retiring.

Autocorrect, it's a complete barstool. As for Morrison, Monk's built this team around a good dressing room atmosphere. Morrison will kill that. We've seen what bad dressing room chemistry can do these last few years.
