Bijol looks great, Longstaff didn’t!
Anton Stach was superb, disappointed that we didn’t see Perri but he’s injured as is Bogle who was also a big miss.
So without James and Bogle we lost that flow, it was also very apparent that we miss Firpo, we must get a replacement sooner rather than later.
Aaronson worked his socks off but he’s to light and he’s going to get bossed in the Premiership.
We need another left back, an attacking midfielder and a proper striker but that doesn’t mean I want Piroe dropping because he looks so sharp and solid.
My eleven for Everton would be….

Agree with all that wood.
Good summary of match and players and needs.
Def feel we need ao starting. Feel a bit sorry for arren. Always gives his all but just too lightweight. Piroe def looks fired up to prove a point. Good on him. Missed Bogle and James. Def lack of flair in final 3rd.
And the biggeee. Need to be ready first game. Have to beat Everton. Lots of the so called teams possibly struggling next season are having poor preseason.

Completely agree woodster and a great post.

They have to get this window moving again and fast.

We need pace in the attack as well.

It’s worryingly quiet on the transfer front though.

Great post Woody. Yes, we need signings before the Everton game. It is a game we can win, and there isn't loads of them to come. Unfortunately as it stands, Bijol is suspended. I had heard that we had appealed.

Think we will see Amps next to Rodon for Everton game with BJ suspended.

Agree with regards Piroe, looks like he’s been upgraded at a terminator factory over the off season.

Desperately need reinforcements at full back, I think Farke desperately wants the spine of the team as strong as possible and Perri, BH and Stacked! confirming where his priorities lay.

Be interesting who else we get but I’ve a hunch the latest additions will continue to be based on athleticism and strength over playmakers and guile……time will tell.

Agree with 99% of that Woodster.

I actually thought to myself at the game yesterday, how much more aggressive and strong Aaronson was! He actually knocked folks off the ball yesterday; hopefully he has strengthened up.
