What did we have to lose after the penalty? NR use the bench mate! We should have won that one! No excuses, its beyond a joke! Waste of time, gutted 😟

Our once great football club is a joke. The
owner is a clown, even though he's ploughed a lot of money into the club, he under-estimated the strength of the Championship and brought in too many inexperienced players.
Redders is a nice guy but way out of his depth. We won't get anywhere near the Premier League with him in charge no matter which players are at the club.
He is tactically unaware, blinded by his belief in the academy players and clueless on substitutions.
My hope for next season is for new owners who do things within the law, for a manager with experience who is allowed to manage and a good squad of players.
The best assets the club have are the loyal fans and we deserve much more than we are getting. At the moment we have chaos from the owner down. Changes need to be made. I'd love to hear what you all think. MOT Speedo4eva.

Redfearn isn't 'way out of his depth' he needs serious help and support from the guy who is supposed to want Leeds to return to greatness?

I don't like saying it but it is Celino who is way out of his depth thinking he could take over and rebuild our great club?

Leeds have played better under Redfearn (admittedly only at times) than under any other manager in the past 2-3 years?

He has youth players coming through that want to wear the shirt and play for Leeds, and then he has had to endure people like Salerno who has no idea whatsoever what Leeds United are about?

None of this bodes well for next season, Celino seems to have already pulled the plug.

This latest 'walkout' is nothing more than that - a walkout by those players who shouldn't be here and now know they won't be here in a month's time?

Redfearn hasn't lost the layers (yet) he is sticking wit the guys he has brought through and they are sticking by him?

Don't think it will happen but I'd rather Redfearn was around at the start of next season than Celino?

I just hope Redfearn will not play any of those six players gain while he is allowed to stay in charge, they do not deserve the priviledge of pulling on the shirt ever again.

Agree with most of that but do not think the players are inexperienced just not used properly. Wasted over half the season on a diamond that no one knew how to play, not even the coaches. Then when we get a system that's half decent all the foreign players disappeared. A lot of the players have not even had a full game so how can we say they are not good enough. I think Redfearn has found it hard to deal with the older players so has opted for young ones and the needy. Ngoyi should have played today, to test his leg if nothing else. Disappointed today with team selection and use of subs. We are no wiser now than we were in August what the players capabilities are. Only Ant and Bamba in favour. Berardi only in because Taylor playing upfield. Past three months been wasted really and before anyone points out we moved up the table and went unbeaten for so long, how lucky were we. We should have got hammered in 4 of those games.

Very tricky this- Redders, although inexperienced in his role has fought manfully all season in very difficult circumstances. The latest losing his right hand man and not having the opportunity to discuss with the board must be frustrating. Cellino has spent most of the season with lawyers looking for loopholes etc and not been able to concentrate on learning about the ECL. This is possibly his own fault or at best nativity but it's something which is deeply unsettling.
Redferns main problem is lack of wingers of natural ability, I think Pringle at Rotherham would have been good, cheap option and selling Smith was an atrocious decision, he was ok at this level. We have no plan B or C. Our young midfielders don't seem to be able to convert possession and skill to being able to creativity in the final third or even maintaining possession in that area which makes us suspect to counter attacks- it's all so disjointed. We should be able to use plan A,B and C in every game, even if winning handsomely- it's good to practice all options. At present its keep plugging away at the only game we know.
I think we need to give Redders more control for 6 months then make a decision- you can't make a steak pie if you only got chicken!

It's just a big mess, no foot print for next season.
The name Leeds United and the fans are the only realistic things that represent the club at present.
The owner, present players, and manager are all an unsure commodity for next season.

i know things don't look great at the moment but we don't know. we may be taken over, we don't know who he new boss may be (i fancy it will be pelligirini and klopp is going city.we have some decent players and great youth and money wise things look better. I would wait and see before shooting ourselves in the head or wishing we were bradford just yet. got to live in hope we are leeds fansnext season has to be better

That won't last long. The name is about to change. Why you think Childs walked? Why you think no reason has been provided? Why you think Thommo called Salerno a name? Why you think no reason has been provided for his suspension? Why you think Redfearn making up fairytales to the press about our problems? All you can do is pray a certain well-known energy drink manufacturer have plans to market a "white" version of their drink.

18 Apr 2015 22:04:44
How does all that you say in anyway relate to a certain well-known energy drink manufacturer??? Childs walked, Thompson got the sack, Redfern always talks crap!

A heaven sent opportunity missed with 6 call offs and run of defeats there was no reason not to play some new faces and I don't mean for the last 5mins. Is that conservative or just plain scared.
Today again we looked pretty in the middle of the park (when not actually hurting anyone) but in the last quarter we just lose any momentum that we had. We have proved that we are technically skilled so where does the crisp, incisive one touch passing go, near the opposition box? We seem to want one or two extra touches. Why? Get the ball in especially if you are playing a target man.
Whilst that problem can be solved on the training pitch I think the problem at the other end is more of a challenge. Without doubt Bamba can be our outstanding defender but his serious flaw is consistency. He can put the lid on any attacker but his next move/touch can come straight off the park on a Sunday morning.

is not a traning ground problem but a tatical one, you can't not play pretty football, all you get is position in undangerous positions then no momemtum moving forward. look at villa as prime example of this. we need to be more direc t and streatch and hurt the other team

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Apr 2015 22:43:00
Think Cook would get into most teams in this division. But don't think many managers would have stuck with same four for so long. Means the opposition know what to expect every week and players performance levels drop knowing they will still get a game if they play crap. It also isolates all the other players who can't get on the team bus.

The time is fast approaching when MC has to stand up and declare his future. Either stay and sort out the mess (asap) or, with our thanks, sell up and move back to Italy. Unfortunately right or wrong the latter seems to be the logical move. With his second home being an Italian Courtroom and the FL salivating, ready to pounce it makes sense all around to sell. Again unfortunately MC will only concern himself with making a profit but what we need is a sale to a benign billionaire with White blood in his veins. Now is the time for an oil baron or a desert sheikh to step forward and see the obvious wisdom of buying a Premiership team at a championship price.
The keyword is stability and every upheaval puts that on hold with all the uncertainty that comes with it so the sooner this great club puts down a strong anchor the better for all its long suffering fans.

Well things are hotting up now. 6 players have reported injured fo the charlton game. Antonucci, del fabro, cani, doukarra, sylvestre and bellusci. should make for a good squad today. Its all falling apart at the seams. Think redfearns days definitely numbered.source-bbc officialsite.

Regardless of what's going on in the background, the players should be there to play for the badge and not have a say in who they want as manager/coach or whatever.
I say sack the ones who are not injured - I'm not interested in seeing them play again!

Do not get me started on the wantaway6 but let's look at the positive; an ideal opportunity for all the names who have been knocking on the door to step up and show how good they are. It has happened before that a team "ravaged by injuries" has upset the form especially if Charlton turn up for an easy ride. How I wish I was at the game now, the team that is sent out deserve the biggest cheer of the year as they take to the field.
Lets make it that these walking wounded have to fight for there place when they recover.

With so many out its a chance to try the 4-4-2 that Redfearn says he will play next season. Change Byram and Taylor to their proper positions as wing backs, Ngoyi, Murphy Sloth Mowatt with Sharp and Montenegro up front. However we will probably see Morrison again,

Believable1 Unbelievable0

18 Apr 2015 10:59:01

Well except Silvestri.
At the very least that's their season over as we can do without them for last 3 games. Would rather lose all 3 than see them play again
Oh well. Back to morri and sharp. Charlton must be shaking in their boots about playing us!
It's funny how everything was cruising along well for 6-7 weeks the in the last 4 weeks has absolutely fallen apart!
And although not a reddders fan. I do commend him on his ethics and loyalty to the club!

Silvestri collided with Jerome on Tuesday and came off much worse. He still looked injured after this to the end of the game so I think his injury is genuine. Not sure about the rest though but agree if there's a mutiny, sack the lot of them. We don't pay our hard earned to watch a load of prima donnas who don't want to play for Leeds United.

we never know, they might be genuine or at least some of them might be, don't think we can afford to live without silvestri and think ant is our best forward and really rate him so hope he stays. we do not know whatis going on behind closed doors, they might be sticking up for tommo, have a problem with redfern or even MC I am sure if they are revolting it is jusitfied. I know I once told my ex-boss to stick it, nothing aginst the company (or club in this case) but the indevidual.hope it gets sorted but will not comment as we do not know

We do not know what's going on, they may be injured if not should be on their way. At least it shows who really want to play for us Berardi, Monty even though they have been treated as badly as the rest. They are still willing to sit on the bench and wait. let's be real though most of them are loanees who have not figured in whatever plan we have. Cani or Fabro are not likely to want to get injured before they go back home. Berlusci, Doukara and Ant are different, Doukara maybe wants out as he is not in the plan either hope Ant and Berlusci are injured or we have more problems than we thought.
