I would take promotion by ppg method if season not completed. My fear though is prem not completing their season could see them close ranks and refuse to relegate anyone whilst also refusing to increase number of clubs in prem. Having said all that if able i think we would smash these 9 games with 15 or 16 points needed.

Surely the dissenters of an enlarged prem, argument could be easily voided if they did not play either of the Cups. This then would equal the 4 or six extra games they are worried about. They would even be financially better off as the crowds would be far greater (esp if one of them is Leeds)

Leo it wouldn't be less games really as most premier teams play largely their 2nd team in domestic cup competitions.

I see your point Canada but it's still the number of games immaterial of what teams they play. If the want to play their reserves against us and the Baggies, so be it.

ELF have officially stated that promotions and relegations will stand if the season is ended early :-)

And 51% need to vote to end it with no games played.
Can see that vote being passed as bottom 3 and a few just missing play offs will really want to finish and the rest will want it to end now or won't care so will go with easy option.

Can I be the first to say I want the season stopped and ppg or current positions used so we go up 100%.
Finishing the season doesn't guarantee promotion. It's likely but not a certainty.
I've waited a bloody long time to get back to prem. I'd rather the 100% option to be honest.
Don't see the point in creating more debt and risking not going up. Don't understand why fans want to finish the season.
It's just the same as winning a game with style or getting stuck in and grinding out a 1-0. We all want style but let's just get what we want eh. We've proved enough this season.

I would take ppg here and now but for the looming danger of the prem not completing their season and adopting a closed shop mentality and refusing to relegate anyone and refusing to increase the number of clubs in prem next season.
