We all thought Leeds were in a mess during last summer.
On promotion, Sheff United signed Cameron Archer from Villa for £18m, with a hidden clause allowing Villa to buy him back for £14m if Sheff United are relegated, absolutely priceless
How wonky was that deal to beat FFP regulations ????
However, Archer would be a massive upgrade for us if Leeds fancy taking a punt.

One assist. 18 million. Scandalous. so go get chair if he’s available, and possibly the lad o’hare from Coventry . Sick fed up of “holding “ midfielders that want an easy life and have no intention or desire, more to the point, in ever trying to score or assist. Then we might see some goals we have been needing apart from relying on the forwards all the time. Good shout from Dill about Luke Thomas. All for him coming to the club, if possible. Said it until I’m blue in the face firpo isn’t a left back. And I don’t think Archie will be going anywhere.

Good post C&J. Archer probably good for Champo but not EPL it seems. Vile don't rate him that much
As for Leeds zero goals and zero creativity midfield of Gray, Ampadu, Gruev and Kamara.
Our midfield vitally needs creative goal scoring reinforcements.
And not bothered if both underwhelming Gruev and Kamara are off loaded . not a scooby doo fu man chu that midfield gets Leeds United promoted!
Midfield needs addressing first and foremost. followed by GK, defence and CF.

Look at his previous goals etc for Middlesbrough
Yes, that's Championship level but he had a cracking half season with Middlesbrough
I'm sure Daniel Farke would help to improve his game, look at Dan James and his improvement
Ethan Ampadu another example of how a seemingly poor player can improve when coached and in the right team
By Heck, also look at the managers Archer played under last season.

Ampadu has never been a poor player, Leroy ?♂️ always technically sound, but given Chelsea's vast and repetitive mismanagement of young players, he was never going to get a chance there. Has always shown his ability while on loan, barring his Leipzig stint, where he didn't really get much game time. Everywhere else he was a regular starter and often one of the clubs better performers.
