Obviously our recent form is not what we would want but I for one can see a bigger picture emerging and it is an exciting one.
The Blackburn game saw us use 14 Leeds players, no loanees. B P-F, Phillips, Clarke and Shackleton from our youth system and Forshaw, Bamford, Ayling and Douglas not playing.

With the emergence of the youngsters we should ditch the loan system and concentrate resources on a couple of top quality signings. We need a top quality centre half to partner Pontus. Cooper is a nice guy but his distribution is inconsistent and he doesn't inspire me. When do you see him giving the ref grief and getting in his ear . never. He might be popular in the dressing room but I don't want popular I want a leader, a winner, someone who sets the tone for the team.

I do think we need a quality wide left player as Dallas and Alioski are in my opinion in the same league as Cooper. Clarke to start on Wednesday is a must and boy is that lad going to be a star.
I still believe this is a top 6 team and considering Saiz hasn't got going yet I think there is plenty still to cone.
Personally if injuries are not a problem I would go with this 11 on Wednesday

BF-P, Ayling, Berardi, Pontus, Douglas
Phillips, Klich, Forshaw, Hernandez, Clarke and Roofe playing 4141.

Don't think Douglas will be fit in time. We may see Pearce.

Pearce deserves an opportunity, think will is harsh on Alioski, he has contributed a lot more than Dallas todate and his unpredictability causes the opposition problems as much as it sometimes frustrates us, but he is playing a lot, he can share a shift with Clarke.

Still not sure Clarke is ready for a full shift, makes a great substitute from the bench, he is still learning and will make mistakes, he lost the ball badly once on sat in a very dangerous situation. If he does, let’s not crucify him!

Luckily other results around us went our way and not too damaging, but need to get winning again, too many draws. Last few games we seem to be chasing a late surge to get an equalizer, we do finish strong but need to kill games off.
They caused us problems today, their left winger was very good.

Thought BPF made a few great saves but for me needs to command more at set pieces.
Dallas shouldn't play in any position, he is not good enough and can't understand what MB loves about alioski.
For me it should have been Pearce at Lb and beradi RB, obviously Pearce not rated by Mb.

I would drop alioski for Clarke on Wednesday but don't think it will happen, he looks good and very positive. He should start from now till Jan to see if he can kick on, if not we need to get in a winger like Foden as weak link in our team. Sorry to rant but alioski is terrible, now his crosses are crap and when he gets the ball, never looks like taking a player on. Clarke did more in 15 mins and if good enough should start.

I thought saiz, Phillips and Klich good today, be nice if saiz could score a few, great link up player and pushes us forward. He needs a quality striker to fed, sorry but we won't get promoted with roofe or Roberts.

Spot on in regards BPF, great distribution, great shot stopper, but also needs to more assertive, look how many times a long ball goes over our defence, he should be on his toes and out to it, beradi header on Sat the same, needs to be more commanding, I know he us only a lad and Pontus and coops strong characters, but needs to bark at them. But i ain't knocking him as a goalie.
