According to bbc we are in for a loan move for ilicic a centre forward I think 26 years old, apparently out of favour at fiorentina this would supposedly happen in January

With the lack of width we have at the moment it could be possible we play 5-3-2 with Byram & Taylor wing backs who both have the legs to do it, I say this because we have showed no interest to sign an out and out winger all pre season? Ajose, Agard, Dakarra, are not natural wingers but could all do a job out there, Agard thought he was to good for us obviously, big big mistake by him, so if we do get Adryan it leaves Biannci and one more out of Austin, Murphy, tonge who are experienced and cook, mowatt, Dawson and the young lad on loan from Milan?who are not so? And hopefully just need to remove Kenny, Hunt, Morrison, Warnock, Norris off the wage bill add a few more and I don't think we will be far away tbh. MOT

1.) If its 90% done what is the remaining 10%? Just the formalities or are there serious negotiations still to be done. ie Has the player agreed to come or not? Any ideas anyone?
{Ed013's Note - I imagine the contract off is in, the terms or the transfer are agreed, whether its a loan or permanent, which leave it down to the player to decide if the move is right for him}
2.) Apparently a season long loan has been agreed - announcement today or tomorrow. unclear if there is an option to make it perm.

1.) As long as their good enough and appreciate the size of this sleeping giant that they are playing for!any player that sweats blood and guts for the shirt whether they are foreign or English I don't give a monkeys all we fans want to see is passion, pride, and wholehearted work, ( oh a bit of messi magical skills wouldn't go a miss either) and we will back you to the hilt, you don't have to be a fake badge kissing ass, just put in a great shift for us on the pitch, and you may just waken the giant that sleeps and see what us fans can do when ER is rocking! There's no finer site ( god that's set my hairs on edge just thinking about the old euro nights/times)

1.) Good news we need to clear out the older dead wood. MOT
2.) Only slight surprise to me is Brown, thought he added a bit of steel in midfield when he played. MC must have irons in the fire.

3.) Agree about Brown as for the rest no loss.
I would place Wootton, White, Norris, Austin, Tonge and Kenny on the transfer list.
Give Dawson, Mowatt a chance with a class midfielder brought in Scott Parker or Leon Osman
4.) I'd have kept Brown and Pugh in light of their low wages. Both have performed reasonably well this season and provided value for their contracts. They could've been valuable squad players. I hope this means we acquire a decent left back and defensive midfield.
5.) I don't understand Leeds fans sometimes, moan because we've got no money, then moan when we release mediocre players on huge wages, because they had one or two decent games at the end of the season. We've saved £3m on wages releasing these players, thank God they're gone. Now we need to get rid of Kenny, Peltier, Norris, Morison, Warnock, Poleon, Austin, Thompson and Hunt.
6.) I don't think anyone is moaning about players being released SG. Get a grip and read what people are actually writing rather than trying to find excuses to start an argument.
One or two people think keeping Brown makes some sense since he's played well. Not just recently either. He's played well in pretty much every game I've seen him his year. Pugh has also had some good games throughout the season. Neither of them are on high wages.
We'll all be happy if they're replaced with better players but if not they're both still good enough to be part of a squad. Now go and try start a different fight.
7.) They were both on over £10k a week, so yes that is a lot of money. We've saved a lot of money getting rid of two average players and should we spend that on bringing in two better players, the ones who wanted to keep Brown and Pugh will be complaining about them being given a new contract. If we gave everyone a new contract who had good games, then Morison, Varney and Green would all be here.
