One signing Leeds have seemingly missed out on is Anton Stach, he was at the training ground around 10 days ago but things have not proceeded as expected.

I’d agree LAD2, first linked with him like 2 weeks ago.
We do seem to be very slow at getting any deals agreed and over the line.
So many rumours around though none except Gudmunsson and Stacy seem to have any validity, yet these 2 have been rumbling on now for weeks.

I certainly haven't heard anything about this being dead. Interest from other teams, incl Bournemouth so not as straightforward as we would like.

I know everyone is keen to see all the signings made ASAP, but the complexity of any deal these days is such that its not possible to be done and dusted in 24hrs. Look at the Wirtz transfer to 'pool. Nobody knows how long it's actually taken other clubs to get signings over the line, as it's rarely as high profile or discussed as much as Leeds. I'm keeping the faith for now, and pretty confident that we will be well set by the time the season starts.

Either Leeds are offering poor contracts not offering agents or clubs enough cash or players are really not liking what they see at TA.

I’m with Clue if it’s true we’ve missed out on Stacked (6ft 4!) his stats were incredible last season in a highly competitive league, local journalists likening him to Declan Rice, hopefully we can still get him.

I can’t say for certain but I can say he was at the training ground and based on being there like all the others usually that’s one of the last points of contact once everything else is agreed and they usually come back for medicals and the photos pretty quickly. The fact he hasn’t says I “believe” we may have missed out. No facts though just my understanding of the situation. It’s always possible he comes back if nothing else is offered but it doesn’t seem as if he’s “all Leeds” and may be using us as a back up or a negotiation block. But again this is only my assumption of the situation.

Aus, you can't be calling Bright naive when his track record of accuracy and being informed is on a far greater level than yours so far.

Nobody has called you naive previously and they would have far greater grounds to do so.

I think we all respect your opinion as to the links to the two lads who have gone to Sunderland but without knowing as to Leeds' desire to buy them (and I know you don't have anymore idea about that than I do) it's just another uniformed post on here.
