Luke Thomas (22/ LB) from Leicester available on a free this summer.
Had a somewhat tough year after being out on loan to perennial losers, Sheff United. Returned in Jan, but with Leicester flying high he wasnt going to displace their starters. He then went out to Boro for the remainder of the season where he did okay.
I think for a free he could be a good acquisition. He's very responsible defensively as he's a brilliant presser and interceptor who shows smart positional sense. He's also quick and he's got great movement up the pitch. Needs to add more assists to his game, but I feel that would come at Leeds. We'd be getting a player who can defend well and is still young but experienced at EPL and EFL levels.
The fact that there is no fee makes this pretty appealing to me, as I think he has a lot of potential in a ball dominant, pressing, fast transitional team such as Leeds.
Basically, I think he'd contribute more in our team than he's shown at Sheff and Boro and he'd be a good signing, all things considered.

Another’s year of sell sell sell its the only bloody thing Leeds Utd are any good at it’s about time the so called investment lot start doing that with all this so called billionaire we are told we have why put money in then not back it up and now they think by selling all the good players we have they can go out and get better .

Nature of the beast, Whitey. There's about 2 or 3 clubs in the world that aren't selling clubs these days. Even Serie A champions and last seasons UCL finalists Inter Milan, for example, are a selling club. Everyone has a price and thanks to PSR and FFP it's made things that little bit harder for everyone who isn't a financial power. Suffice to say, getting a few good quality players in on a free wouldn't be the worst idea in today's climate. And there are quite a few decent ones about.

{Ed001's Note - is there any that aren't selling clubs? Even Real Madrid have to sell some players to raise funds. That is why Rodrygo is available in the summer. It is just that probably no one will be able to afford him.}

Wasn't aware of Rodrygo situation, Ed. I had Citeh, Real and PSG as teams that don't need to sell and then there's everyone else.
