Just been on radio Leeds that MC is cooperating with Farnham group as a plan B should the fpp fail and things are posertive between both parties to move forward

APN-ING63

1.) Is there no end to this nightmare? Just when I thought the term consortium was history a consortium trilogy emerges from the dark deep waters of Elland Road namely Cellino, Eleonora Sport, Farnan & TogetherLeeds plus Uncle Tom Cobbly an all. I give up, I'm buying a season ticket for me and my son in the new extension of Manchester City's stadium to watch some quality football for the next decade. Good Luck to all concerned with Leeds United Co-Operative Society.

2.) All over NewsNow too,

This could be massive.

Cellinos £££ and football club running know-how would be complemented with a safeguard if a few suit wearers had a small but competitive share in the decisions!

In the eyes of the court a group of men with Leeds at their hearts could be almost a shaparone.

In my eyes farnan is nothing more than a desperate money grabber trying to be big. He has no more leeds in his heart than GFHC, and should this deal pgo ahead, he and his partners will have to work hard to earn the respect that MC's Millions will provide him within days with a few smart ( and football stadium sized) purchases

3.) I smell a rat with fl influence

4.) It could be the way forward for Cellino but Farnan really?

The guy who tried to get us wound up because he didn't get his own way first time around!

Not sure he's the best fit to be honest. We need to get some Abu Dhabi/Qatari money in and make us great again

{Ed013's Note - It was Flowers, not Farnan}

5.) If this is the only way we can get MC's millions to our club then so be it. I like his honesty and we've needed someone like him to come to the club and shake things up. Great phone interview on ssn, Haigh and Nooradin should take note on how to do PR.

6.) 02 Apr 2014 20:35:26
Adam Pearson is in Farnans consortium and has an excellent track record as a football administrator. He began at Leeds United, lives nearby and is a fan. Look what he did at Hull. Some good people in Farnans team - add Cellinos money and we have a group who are everything GFH arent. ie Wealthy, Football people with good track records (remember Farnan was at & Sunderland too). Cellinos has 20 years at Cagliali - These guys know what to do and how to do it.

7.) I'm all for it. As long as it is all sorted ASAP I'm all for it. After listening to cellinos interview on tv earlier he's obviously passionate about leeds and by the sounds of it will do anything to be apart of our great club!

8.) I love Masimo.Passion.Has run a football team for 22yrs.Most of it top fight Italian League.Talks the talk and i'am sure he will walk the Walk?Even if has to join up with Farnam he will pull the strings. When was the last time we had someone who could run a football club?90's.Managers Bilko and Graham. The board set the budget. We did very well during those times.Life long Fan

9.) To the poster who's buying a ticket for the citizens, enjoy your new team and hope you see nice football.

REAL/TRUE Leeds fans will be at elland road ;)

10.) Cellino already a legend in my eyes

11.) So how does this work say for buying the stadium back and players etc. those guys clearly don't have the money to do it themselves so I can't see cellino spending a far greater percentage when they can sit back and claim theircut of the profits etc. should we make some haha because I imagine cellino will b limited to a certain stake? Any ideas maybe he could buy the stadium under elnora. ?

12.) Totally agree. If I was Cellino I would insist on a prenuptial agreement before this marriage and climbing into bed with Farnan and Co.

13.) Got to agree that our boy Massimo
and his advisors have got to insist on a
pre nup.The problem here is that the funny
handshake people(masons)which could include
Harvey, Bates, all of the FL chairmen and I suspect the QC guy could be all in this togethor.
Been a lot of talk recently about betting scams which included one of our players and funny how we have gone in no time at all from possible Prem to possible 1st division.I smell a rat.Missed pens and beatings by lesser teams plus bad subs and rubbish purchases.Know nothing about
betting odds but I bet one of us knows a bit about betting scams (International) and what has been going on.If you do then time to spill the beans.Go massimo
and take us to where we belong and I do
mean European football.

14.) This really could be the best option, there's no way I'd put money on MC winning his appeal seems inevitable with everything else that's gone on. However. If he sells a large portion of his 75% to TL, he could avoid the owners test yet and fund until his convictions are spent then buy back shares as time goes on. Even better is there's nothing stopping him buying EL and TA, saving the club on rent! that way he has a huge asset despite a smaller share. As long as everyone stays amicable and put the club at heart could finally be the backing we have needed!

15.) He'll cooperate with any 1

16.) Cellino will want to be boss, he's sacked endless managers and can't see him being part of a co-operative. I suppose now all the fans questioning hunt etc wages will now go quiet and be talking about millions, massive and signing messi, love LUFC, hate modern football

17.) Don't want a consortium, more greedy mouths to feed ;(

18.) At last some sign of hope and common sense!
The above sensible comment supports my previous post that Cellino can own up to 29% without infringing the FA rules. That way we get his money without him having any control –he’s loose cannon and if he were in charge we would really go down with his yacht!
This way we have his cash with minimal influence and the expertise of the Together Leeds guys who have sound experience. Hopefully between them they can ease out these greedy Arabs who only became involved to make a quick profit! The sooner were are rid of them the better. Good luck to this initiative – it would give us owners with access to significant funding without having a loony Cellino in charge and through sharing the ownership a moderating management style that would not get rid of the best manager we have had in years and would support him in the major rebuilding that we all know is required. I say Good Luck

19.) Fingers crossed then!
have farnan, pearson & co. already got fl approval?
anyone know how long this will take? weeks or months?
sounds promising
mot
should give the team a boost for wigan - on the telly - come on leeds - get us 3 points!

20.) Best manager? BM? are you mad, have you watched the games? I supported him up until Jan but he has lost it, you can see it in his eyes, hear it in his voice and most of the players not playing for him, he seems pants on tactics and getting the most out of what you have got, he does moan a lot as well to be fair.
BM got to go for sake of LU at end of season
DG

21.) A lot of you are stating how 'loony' Cellino is.

Maybe loony and direct is what we need, no more pussy-footing around with an empty pot, thinking it's the players god given right to take (or Blatantly Steal) a living from leeds without putting in any sort of performance.

Insecurity in general is not a good thing, but maybe is what we require in doses. This will come from a more diverse squad and players competing against one another for starts. Not people just starting week in and out, having a steady one.

Crack the whip Mr. C.

22.) This looks very much like Cellino is being smart in case he does not pass the test. If he passes he could turn around and say talks didn't work out but if not he has already held out the olive branch and would probably be welcomed to join TL consortium.

I wouldn't mind Farnan and Pearson involved though - as previous posters have mentioned they have their heads screwed on right and they have done good things in football in the past. Plus, it might help to calm MC from being too hasty in some of his decisions. I love his passion but he could probably use some clear thinking partners to help at times s well to stay out of trouble.

23.) How much is mc worth?

24.) 03 Apr 2014 14:41:08
The Farnam group have some serious welly behind them - all bodes well

Just been on radio that gfh have asked fans to ignore speculation as they have the clubs best interest at heart, I feel better for hearing that, NOT!

APN-ING63

1.) There only saying that so no one protests or vents there frustration at em at Saturdays game! let's not trust the t**ts!

2.) 30 Jan 2014 19:06:54
Even if the italian chucklebrother buy shares in leeds he won't have control because gfh will still own controling share

3.) 30 Jan 2014 19:11:01
Even if the italian chucklebrother gets involved he won't have a controling share so BMD will be safe his free to throw money at leeds but he won't have the power to sacking managers like they are going out of fashion

4.) I will sleep so much easier tonight. Thank you GFH for your continued kindness and consideration towards all Leeds fans. We must be the envy of every other club's supporters. Thanks and night nite GFH. P.S. Hope your shares continue to soar on the market, you deserve every success and all the benefits that success attracts.

5.) "Even if the italian chucklebrother gets involved he won't have a controling share so BMD will be safe his free to throw money at leeds but he won't have the power to sacking managers like they are going out of fashion"

Maybe that's why he went off home.?

6.) I think its Andy Flowers who has goofed up, and not been able to fund the takeover. Why is everyone convinced its GHF that have ballsed it up?

7.) Ive been looking back over mike farnans comments and tweets over the last few weeks, and i'm under the impression he very much wants lufc. there's a lot of fans tweeting him, and he is very courteous in his replies, but obviously not going into to much detail, but his intentions and vision for lufc are very clear. even mr jones is pushing him to get the takeover re presented to gfh. he obviously had to let mr haigh and co have the initial bid, but from what I can gather the future would be very bright with mr farnan. any comments Ed?

8.) What have GFH actually done wrong may I ask? Are we all jumping to conclusions it's there fault why the TO wasnt complete?
I had the impression the consortium headed by haigh didn't have funds because some people started to get cold feet .

We aren't going into administration, there are still 2 offers on the table so let's see what happens

On and on!

9.) Get the feeling that we've been taken for mugs yet again. Might as well realise going to the game on saturdays is a social experience rather than a football spectacle with any meaning

10.) Dont lose faith just yet. I don't doubt david haighs conviction to take us forward. it seems mr flowers and 'the others' got cold feet, but mr farnan is waiting in the wings, and maybe their bid will be put on the table to gfh. (who do want to sell). their is no animosity between mr haigh and mr farnan. although the latter has more mature business acumen.the italian stallion has already shown a lot of disrespect for lufc, by trying to put a man next to bmac for ipswich game. arrogance to say the least. let's hope mr farnan can get us over the line. then you will all be very much marching on together. check out his tweets over january. please sing your hearts out on saturday. let the players and staff and mr bmac know how much this means.uncertainty breeds anxiety whoever you are whatever you do for a living whatever you are paid.chant their names throughout and breath those goals into the net.let ross and the rest know they are the best. MOT

11.) I also think Flowers was the one who got cold feet and it was his money so I've no axe to grind there. I have no reason to believe Haigh is anything but a decent bloke. i'm certainly not going to side with those who have been giving him dogs abuse. GFH got the club away from Ken Bates and things are so much better in lots of ways.
Panicking and aiming personal abuse at Haigh won't help Leeds United, BMD or the players.
If people think they're being taken for a mug they want to stop acting like one.

don't think well see anything of Byran for a while, spoken to a physio from TA who tells me his hip is still flaming up, but he also has a ankle injury due to trying to compensate it. if he goes under the knife won't see him before xmas at best.

APN-ING63

1.) I just can't believe this, he is playing 90 minutes in reserve games

2.) Pretty strange then that he managed 90mins with behind doors match against Sunderland. Would not have played a minute if there was another possible injury to him, come on mate get a grip, obvioulsy posted by a jealous non-Leeds fan!

3.) 10 Sep 2013 12:36:09
Thats funny as I was in the Gym the other night and bumped into a leeds physio, who said he's doing really well nad hopes to be back in contention after the international break!!

4.) 10 Sep 2013 16:29:03
I posted what the physio sold me, not what I wanted, this is a Leeds rumours site, yes! So wind ya neck in, as for a none Leeds fan, why would I post my name?

5.) I got told the same information at the development match a few weeks ago against Huddersfield

6.) Well byram is playing again in a development game on monday if he was injured like you say then he wouldn't be playing simple as that

Saw Sorenson down at ER late on today, I know he's Danish but that's it is he any good?

APN-ING63

1.) 06 Aug 2014 10:32:45
Yes he's good. For me, this is the key signing when we pull it off hopefully to be announced in next few hours.

Read the Yep, unbelievable what Gfh have made BMcD do!

APN-ING63

1.) Yeah, really unbelivable. The owners of a business have asked their manager to submit one report a week. Get real in any other walk of life this is nothing.
CH

2.) 04 Apr 2014 14:42:41
If it was like any other business you could bullet pretty much all the players for gross misconduct, but its not so let the manager, manage & coach, gfh are trying to make his position untenable so he walks without paying compo! Gfh are the lowest of the low, SHAME ON THEM!

Why send Wood out when we don't even know if Erwin can cut it in the Championship, he could be another Duc.
