Some great performers and great results but who are your first eleven pick for Burton?

Simples. Whoever Monky chooses. In him I have total faith after Tuesday!

My first name on teamsheet is Silvestri. Emotional decision but how can you drop a guy who pulls off a great save inside 30 seconds then 3 pens after 120 minutes the last one being utterly world class?

Same team that played Wolves but Hernandez in for Vieira and maybe Silvestri in for Green.

has to be silvestri, green ain't been great and no point playing someone letting them play well and not putting them in 1st team, it is meant to be an insentive with a goal of being put in team, if douk played a blinder and got a hat-trick everyone would be saying put him in same applys for keeper in my book, although again have to agree with speedy in monk I trust so who he goes for I am behind.

Is that not the best back four in the league Ben?

I did not see the game on Tuesday and gather Silvestri did well but I have seen all home league games this season and 2 away, I struggle to see what Green has done wrong to justify being dropped, apart from the QPR game. Yes, it is easier playing behind Pontus and Bartley but he still contributes to the defence through organising and commanding his box whilst still making good saves. Still Green for me but Silvestri is now strong competition.

Notts, you probably right but there can't be many games in the history of any club where an uninjured goalkeeper doesn't play the next match with 3 penalty saves previous game.

Has to be well up there ausman. will feel a whole let better when we own more than 50% of the defence though!

Heres a curious question. do think Greens presence is having the desired effect on Silvestri. let's face it, Silvestri was expected to leave pre-season when he was told to train with the reserves. I think green has provided experience and competition which has made him better. can't see Green being our No1 next season. could we argue he was brought in to be a mentor of sorts to Silvestri who could well be our no1 next year?

Plum, there's probably a connection. If Green can teach Silvestri command of box we have close to a world class goalkeeper.
