OK, well credit where credit is due. I moaned when MC was not prepared to pay the extra little bit to get him before - so IF (that's IF) he joins, I admire that MC is not too big a man to swallow a little bit of humble pie. NO idea if Cooper will be any good of course, BUT he's a Leeds supporter, so presumably he will sweat blood for the club he loves!

Seems a quiet day so I will start the debate who would have howson back in a Leeds shirt. I'm not saying I would just interested on peoples opinion, did he choose to go or was he forced by bates
1.) Never. He was part of the problem we had to play three midfielders that gave us the equivalent of two decent ones. We were therefore usually outgunned in midfield when we played any reasonable opposition. Never rated Howson, Johnson and Kilkenny trouble is, when we were rid of them, they were never replaced with quality.Midfield has been a problem for years.

4.) I think it goes without saying midfield is and has been a problem area for Leeds in recent years we need someone who isn't afraid to pick up the ball and run at opposition creating space for others but we have been too static in that area for years
5.) All for having players back, not too proud and any player who leaves leeds and plays in prem must be commended for moving forward. however I never really rated Howson, think he was over rated and didn't cut it in prem or championship. if we had to have a midfleilder back for me it would be bradley johnso, I quite rated him and scored a good goal at weekend

Gutted if this Hockaday gets the job, I for one would like to see redders or even naylor given a go or maybe even both together at least we know what we would get from those two and that's passion for the shirt

Redders hasn't got the stomach for it. Naylor no experience. In terms of motivational qualities Russ Wilcox is worth a mention.

Agree with delort and Agard wouldn't mind us signing another winger instead of sharp don't know if his heart would be in the Leeds shirt

Bianchi looks like what we need in midfield and could be a good playmaker at this level. Silverstri is a decent keeper also, apparently Doukara was good last night but I didn't go
